GENRE: INTENSE DEATH GRIND
NeKronos Promotion is Proud to present the second band of the NeKroWeek, they are
CENTURION (Polish Intense Death Grind), a killer band
for fans of Disgorge, Angel Corpse, Krisiun, Malevolent Creation, Cryptopsy
and several more!
Show your support and share this info to all your metal brotherhood if you like what you have heard!
CENTURION was found in the middle of 1998 by Bigos (guitar) and
Śliwa (drums). The band from the very beginning has played fast and brutal
kind of death metal (inspired by DERANGED and ANGEL CORPSE style).
After a couple of months Ostry (second guitar), Sobiech (vocals)
and Ziomek (bass) joined the band. In the beginning of 2001 CENTURION
recorded the first demo, called ”...and they will leave only remains”.
In the middle of 2002 the band entered DBX studio in Warsaw and recorded
first LP „Conquer&Rule”. It contains over 25 minutes of brutal death
metal and the cover of Morbid Angel „Day Of Suffering”. CENTURION
has officially signed three-record deal with Apocalypse Records. After
that CENTURION toured Poland two times (in March 2003 and February 2004)
with the company of well known polish death metal killers from YATTERING.
In March 2004 CENTURION was invited to play during one of the biggest
European metal festival METALMANIA 2004. In the beginning of 2005
Sobiech, Ostry and Ziomek decided to leave the band.
In the next year Caesar (known from SHRAPNEL) and AD Gore (PYORRHOEA,
GORTAL) took up their functions as vocalist and guitarist. In this form the
band started to work at the second album. In May 2007 Blacha (bass)
joined the band. In October 2007 Centurion entered Progresja studio
and recorded promotional stuff called "Sacrilege". Those three new
tracks are the most sadistic and brutal material in the career of the band and
it also shows how will be the upcoming LP album look like. „Sacrilege”
was also release as a split album with GORTAL by the French
Gorification Musix in 2008. In the same time Centurion and
Mittloff from Apocalypse Records decided to finish the cooperation.
In 2009 band started to work at the second LP, called "Serve To No One".
The band entered one more time Progresja studio in Warsaw, known from
cooperation with such great bands as AZARATH, MASACHIST or LOST SOUL. Mix
and mastering of „Serve No One” was finished in the beginning of 2011.
Piotr “Mittloff” Kozieradzki, a drummer of prog rock band RIVERSIDE
was responsible for mixing of the material and Andy Blakk (ex-PYORRHEA,
CONQUEST ICON) is an author of mastering. This release was also a farewell
album of Śliwa who left the band due to his personal life. He was
replaced by Domin, previously known from the the bands such as DEVILYN
and NOMAD. Throughout the whole period of activity CENTURION has
played a few concerts all over Poland supporting among others the bands such as
IMMOLATION, ASPHYX or VADER.

Here we are to present and review "Dedicated to the
Flesh", the
outstanding new album of Swedish death metal undead addicts Facebreaker!
Without any doubt one of the best death metal albums for 2013 and a great step
forwards for these Zombified meat-freaks! This album kills, slays, maims, will
drive you totally insane and you can't stop listening to it!Their sound is always getting better
and better on each new record, this time combining at best the most putrefied
European/Swedish death metal essence with the most rotten U.S. death metal
sound, all these with the add of some dynamic death n' roll groove. Imagine a catacomb pit infested with the most rotten sound of bands like
Grave, Dismember, Bolt-Thrower, Six Feet Under or Obituary! An absolute deranged death metal art at it's true best!
Be sure to get your hands into this Facebreaker death-cult album and
inhale one of the most rotten pieces to come out from Swedish death metal
crypts!!
Get ready to be mutilated by a swarm of Zombies; they hunger for your
tender human flesh!

FACEBREAKER -
Deadicated to the Flesh - 2013 -
Cyclone Empire Genre:
Death Metal
"(...)Fourteen years since the outbreak
We are the living dead
A death metal militia
Ripping the ears from your head
Bloodred Hell in the front row
We crave the flesh from our crowd
We‘re Dead Rotten and Hungry
Infected, distorted and loud
Dedicated to the flesh(...)" FACEBREAKER - "Dedicated to the Flesh"
For all those not familiar with Facebreaker yet, I must say that
they are some of the most brutal and straight forwards Swedish death metal bands
around, formed in 1999 by Janne, Roberth Karlsson ( Scar Symmetry, Aktiv Dödshjälp,
Zombified and Tormented,etc),Mikael and
Jonas who combined forces to create this band and with it forge the sound they liked
at best! The band played already in great festivals like With Full Force Open Air, Party San Open Air,
Death Feast or Legacy Fest, etc. where they got the chance to play for more than
10.000 people! A dead, rotten and hungry band that captured
death metal fans ears since their debut "Bloodred Hell" (2004) achieving
great reviews from the most respected magazines!
The fourth album "Dedicated to the flesh" is another great step
forwards on these Zombified Meat-freaks career. Straight forwards death
metal, as putrefied as the old-school Swedish/European death metal and as rotten
as the cryptic U.S. death metal. Imagine yourself in a Zombie infested catacomb
pit with the sound of anthems from bands like Grave, Bolt-Thrower, Dismember,
Six Feet Under or Obituary! Hahaa... better to get your sharp hatchet and
start chopping some living-dead meat!
Yet you couldn't get a better soundtrack for such Walking Dead massacre!
Compared with the previous release "Infected", the sound has been
developed into an absolute outstanding new level, concerning the lyrics
by Janne Ivarsson(Guitars), all I can say is that they are at best,
exploring this Horror Movie atmosphere to it's absolute maximum, taking you
into outbreak undead infested lands where there is no way
out... unless you unleash madness and start Killin' your way to live!
"Dedicated to the Flesh" is a pure Zombie Holocaust in form of
Death
Metal art! One of the best pieces of the genre since some good pack of time!
Death Metal reborn in the most demonically possessed form! The adepts wouldn't
be disappointed, same to all those who are deep into horror, zombie movies... they will
find here the best original (rotten) sound track to listen to!
These living-dead carnage sound is a true trademark of
Facebreaker, the demonic possessed guitars by Mika Lagreen (Grave)
and Janne Ivarsson,
the dead-rotten voKills by Roberth K. as well as the dead-rotten atmosphere
created... Man, all this is death metal at its pure best, simply outstanding!
The recordings and production this time took place at Slowly Rotting Studios
(Guitars, Bass), Panic Room Studios (Drums) and Crypt Of Death Studios
(Vocals, Lead Guitars) and it was mixed and mastered by Plec at Panic
Room Studios (e.g. Scar Symmetry, Torchbearer, Watain, Warrior Soul), must
say it couldn't get better than it is, how rotten and slaying can you get?
The cover artwork this time has been done by Björn Gooßes of
Killustrations (Gloria Morti, Six Feet Under, Sodom, Aborted, Zyklon, Amon
Amarth, Norther). In fact a damn well fitting rotten Zombified art for this
Swedish killing machine, it seems splattered out of an old school undead movie!!
It's a hard task to pick up favourite tracks on such top quality dynamic release, yet
I'll try to describe it for you! With a slower death n' roll groove, tracks like
the opening "Meat Freak" or "Zombie Flesh Cult", "Mutilador" and
"Swarm of Zombies" bring Facebreaker with a refreshing morbid
dynamism. Yet the traditional band sound remains in hymns for the dead like the
addicting title track "Dedicated to the flesh" that is an anthem to
Facebreaker's 14 years of sick and twisted living-dead music, quickly
followed by the hell-spawned fast track "Catacomb". With the "Nuclear
Outbreak" all Hell breaks loose on another frenetic killing track, better to
grab your axes and start chopping some heads while listening to these one!
Bow down for the "Hellmaster", one of these albums best tracks with such
an addicting virulent grove and undead rotting sound reminding of Obituary
classics summoned from the grave! No time to breathe anymore,
infected Zombies hunger for your human meat, "Carving for Brains" is
another true death metal graveyard classic and another top track on this
release! "Legions of Doom" ( Bonus Track ) and "World Cremation"
are two more viciously demented fast and heavy tracks that shall be stuck to
your tortured ears for a good pack of time! The album ends up with
"Tomb of the hungry dead", an epic ending anthem for this Zombie holocaust!
In all "Dedicated to the Flesh" is an absolutely addicting
and killing album for all old-school death
metal addicts, here and then with the addition of some good refreshing Death n' Roll
groove into! The created sick n' twisted rotten sound is a true trademark of
the band. Facebreaker sound shall tear your flesh from bone and feed you
to the famine zombies who shall feast with your entrails and carve for your
brains! Horror death metal at its best, a killer death-cult
album for adepts. One of the best hell-spawn art of death metal for 2013 and one of the most rotten pieces to come out from Swedish death
metal crypts!! It Kills, Slays and can't get our of your ears!
Get your hatchet sharpen, become ready for the killing or be mutilated
by a swarm of Zombies. They hunger for your tender human life... they are
dedicated to the flesh!

BLACK ALTAR, a killer
Terrorizing Black Metal band for fans of Dark Throne, Immortal, Watain,
Tjuder, Mayhem, Tulus and more!

In the darkest abyss of chaos where time and space are impenetrable, Black
Altar came into existence. It took its earthly shape during blasphemous
Sabbath in the Night of Walpurgia Anno Bastardi 1996, when it was summoned by
the voice of Shadow. He, as the first guardian of Black Altar,
have started an unholy crusade, thus awaking fear and pain among the
hypocritical and hideous christian lambs.
The first stroke into their rotten system of values was a demo entitled "Na
Uroczysku..." which gained a special recognition among several groups of
listeners. It was recorded by Shadow in 1997 at Selani Studio with
the help of Doc, Vader's drummer, in the role of a music engineer and
drumS programming. Released under Shadow's own label - Odium Rec.,
the first issue of 500 copies was sold out rapidly, making the name of Black
Altar very popular in Poland and in other countries as well.
Where were many musicians involved, however none of them stayed long because
they could not meet Shadow's high musical and ideological requirements.
The turning-point came in the end of 1999 when two new musicians, who just like
Shadow had shown boundless devotion to the Black Metal Art, joined the
band.
In December 2000 a new, long-awaited EP entitled "Wrath ov the Gods" was
recorded. Although all the compositions included were rather old, this record
presented a new and more full-fledged face of the band. The EP was released in
2002, once again, by Odium Rec., this time as a limited to 666 copies
hand-numbered with blood split CD with promising band Vesania. In 2003
Odium Rec. re-released "Wrath of the Gods" in the form of limited to
500 copies, hand-numbered with corpse blood, 7" EP.
In September 2003 at Selani Studio Black Altar recorded their debut album
entitled "Black Altar". It was a great improvement in the development of
the band. All the compositions show an enormous potential of Black Altar.
The new hymns are still more extreme and more technical. They reveal the unknown
regions of Black Metal - an Art destined for the privileged. "Black Altar"
was mixed and mastered at Studio X. For the track "Fire
ov Immortal Self" a professional video was recorded. In April 2004 the
material is released in the form of CD and a gate-fold LP by the German
Christhunt Productions. Odium Rec. releases a limited to 666 copies
hand-numbered with corpse blood cassette version of "Black Altar".
After releasing the debut album Shadow parts with his musicians and as of
that moment Black Altar became a one-man band.
In 2006 WarKult Prod from Peru released remastered version of Black
Altar "Wrath ov the Gods" (with 4 bonus tracks) as split, slip case cd, with
Nebular Mystic (Nor).
In October 2006 Black Altar finished, at very good Studio X,
record session of their second album called "Death Fanaticism". It's a
killer Black Metal Holocaust! This unholy Masterpiece ov Black Art was
unleashed in March 2008 under the wings of Odium Rex.
Black Altar it’s going to record 7 brand new tracks for a split with
Shining and split with Varathron/Thornspawn.

GENRE: SUPREME DEATH BLACK METAL ART
NeKronos Promotion is Proud to present the second band of the NeKroWeek, they are BELPHEGOR (Supreme Death Black Metal Art), one of the most extreme brutal bands to come from Austrian lands. A band for fans of Morbid Angel, Dark Funeral, Behemoth, Krisiun, Immortal and more!

BELPHEGOR emerges as one of the most extreme line ups to ever come out of
the death black metal scene. The band members themselves describe their hellride
as "Supreme Death/ Black Metal Art”
SEYN TODT IN SCHWARTZ
1993: The now legendary demo on Maxi Cd format, BLOODBATH IN PARADISE,
is circulated within the underground and earns BELPHEGOR the reputation
of an unrepentant, blasting war machine. 1995: The first studio album,
THE LAST SUPPER, is released on Lethal Records and is a welcomed
collection of infernal hymns for their growing fan base. Following their own
path of sin and befitting their ever-evolving anti-religious, anti-life
attitude, BELPHEGOR’s logo gets revamped to incorporate two inverted
crosses completely surrounded by blood representing the slaughter of Christians
and martyrs. 1997: Last Episode Records releases BLUTSABBATH. BELPHEGOR’s
sinister reputation continues to gain momentum.
MUSICA INFERNALIA
2000: Stagnation means death! The band spreads their disease once again
via NECRODAEMON TERRORSATHAN, logging yet another volume of blasphemy
added to The Vatican Library. 2002:BELPHEGOR celebrates their
10th anniversary by capturing a live set with songs played even faster than
their original studio recordings on INFERNAL LIVE ORGASM
(released on their own label, Phallelujah Productions).
DIE TOTEN REITEN SCHNELL
2003: Produced at Mastersound Studios, BELPHEGOR cram their
high-speed murderous brutality into the 8-track release of LUCIFER INCESTUS,
and then tour again throughout Europe. 2005: The band opts to once again
to work with Alex Krull at Mastersound to create the morbid
GOATREICH - FLESHCULT, and later shredding Europe with the infamous
X-Mass Festival and an eighteen dates headliner tour. “We don’t give a fuck
about anything and don’t let anyone talk us into doing anything. Only the music
counts!”
PEST TEUFEL APOKALYPSE
Produced, mixed, and mastered by Andy Classen at Stage One Studio
in Kassel, Germany, and featuring artwork by Seth Siro Anton
PESTAPOKALYPSE VI is, on the one hand, a concept album based on The Devil,
Pestilence, and The Apocalypse, and on the other, a lesson in infernology.
Incorporating unconventional harmonies with dynamic execution and monumentally
aggressive vocal work, its multi-language approach (the German verses in
“Bluhtsturm Erotika” are taken from the works of Marquis de Sade &
Goethe; “Sanctus Perversum” defiles the church’s monopoly on Latin)
accurately represents the infernal musical landscape BELPHEGOR
comfortably inhabits.
Accept it: our world is necessarily haunted by evil, and when the armies of the
dead return with their pestilence to annihilate the living, there will be no
better guides while traveling down the fiery road to the endless abyss of Hell
than BELPHEGOR.
BONDAGE GOAT ZOMBIE: BDSM & SATHAN 2008
With their seventh Album, suitably titled BONDAGE GOAT ZOMBIE, the Death/
Black Metal institution crushes all their previous releases! A real massacre of
pounding Death Metal and majestic, hyper fast Black Metal spread out over nine
killer songs full of diabolical possession, and pure darkness! BONDAGE GOAT
ZOMBIE is their most mature effort up to day, this time BELPHEGOR
have managed to melt ultra blastbeats and heaviness to one union.
The Fleischwerk was once again recorded in three sessions form November 2007 to
January 2008 with Andy Classen in the famous Stage One Studios in
Kassel/Germany – guarantying a smashing and powerful production.
The concept of the album is inspired by the infamous Marquis De Sade
(1740 – 1814), giving the lyrics of the album a blessed touch of Evil. As on the
last album, the vocals are held in English, German and Latin. BONDAGE GOAT ZOMBIE is once again a lesson in violence and a true
offering when it comes to crushing Metal with the extra punch in the face.
BELPHEGOR continue to keep the fucking devil and demonic spirit in Metal
music alive...

BLACK ALTAR Polish black metal legends have joined forces
with their blackest arts allies Varathron and Thornspawn to created the split "Emissaries of the Darkened Call"! A true piece of
unholy blasphemy, as brutal as terrorizing as it could be! Black Altar been born in a blasphemous Sabbath in the Night of Walpurgia
Anno Bastardi 1996 by the hand of the dark lord Shadow, the only remaining founding
member, since then the band has been rising with unholy strenght to set a mark
on Polish black metal scene, yet they have become legends on what they do.
True to the
underground metal movement, they've been raising fans all across this black metal
universe! This unholy crusade by the Black Altar guardian Shadow
has given them due respect on this strict musical genre.
With their own
terrorizing black metal sound, Black Altar reached with their latest full
length "Death Fanaticist" allot of
good reviews and critics, it has been a true highlight on the bands career!
This split release unveals a quite uniform quality black metal release, lead by
Black Altar experience and conjured blackest sound, this release has all to
please the tortured black metal adepts ears, and yet catching some death metallers
attention, this with a twisted and sick unholy sound
that shall haunt you for a good pack of time!
For those who don't know the band yet, the Greek Varathron sound
and dynamics are closer to the one played by Black Altar,
yet with the add of some Hellenic spice and melody here and there, all this
without the loss of the brutal sound with some death metal elements into. By the other
hand, Thornspawn unleash a true rough and ugly black metal sound, damn
old school and dirty, anyhow... how should fucking black metal be? Right? Sick
and twisted as Hell \m/
On this split release Black Altar sound reaches another step forwards,
the sound is each time deeper, dark, pale and sure to set horror on your
wicked frostbitten minds, without a doubt a sound from a cult band doomed to be
underated on this underground metal layer, “Emissaries of the Darkened Call” is a piece hidded from the masses but
known by the enemies of the hypocritical and hideous christian lambs.
The production is quite fitting on each bands evil intentions, yet Thornspawn
may sound too analogue and dirty, yet I am sure the band intended it to be in
this way! In the other hand the sound by Black Altar and Varathron
is close to other bands you may associate with their sound, bands like Urgehal, Watain, Tjuder,
Belphegor,
Satyricon, Immortal, DarkThrone, Rotting Christ etc... the split was recorded at
BAT studio by Marek Heimburger (Black Altar),Roller Coaster
Studio, Patras GR by Haris and AchilleasC (Varathron) and Temple of the
Beast studios by Andres Magana and the band (Thornspawn).
The release is quite uniform in quality but I should mention some highlights
like "Nighthunter" a classic black metal song , "Deep
Cut into the Open Wound of Mankind" a crescent sharpen sacrficial
dagger into your blackened hearts, or the brutal blasphemy by the name of
"I'm Demon" by Black Altar other good tracks are "Arawn's Reign" and the
Black Sabbath cover "Ancient Warrior" by Varathron, songs that
may attach easly to your ears once you first listen to them!
In all "Emissaries
of the Darkened Call"
is
a
great black metal piece for adepts of deep dark, sinister and unholy black metal,
as obscure as it intended to be! This is without a doubt an horror piece of darkest forms to
add to your blaspheme quality collection! A release filled up with blackest
hymns of destruction and terrorizing atmospheres, you must check it out and be
cursed for eternity by the "emissaries of the darkened call"!

GENRE: BARBARIC BLACK METAL
NeKronos Promotion is Proud to present the first band of the NeKroWeek, they are
BALFOR (Barbaric Black Metal), a smashing
quality band to come from Ukraine soils.A band for fans of Satyricon,
Immortal, Dimmu Borgir, Keep of Kalessin and more!
Show your support and share this info to all your metal brotherhood if you like what you have heard!
BALFOR was formed in
November 1997 in a small town in eastern Ukraine, as a side project of
Thorgeir - vocal/bass/guitar, and guitarist Svart, to play fast, but
melodic, Black Metal. The band released their first album “Volki Severa”
in 2001, and, following a number of personnel changes, and encouraged by the
positive reviews the LP received, Thorgeir decided to concentrate all his
energies on BALFOR and develop the band further. Berowar came in
on bass in November 2005 and the two formed the core of what BALFOR was
to become.
Defining their music as “Barbaric Black Metal” in tribute to the history
of their homeland, BALFOR released their four-track promo “Pure
Barbaric” for free download via a net label in 2006; a move that proved to
be extremely successful in terms of raising the band’s profile and garnering a
substantial following throughout the world. BALFOR’s fan bases, and
reputation, were further increased by various live and festival appearances.
BALFOR today? With the release of the new album “Barbaric Blood”,
it is obvious that founder Thorgeir has developed into a charismatic
front man who is able to switch from aggressive black, to soaring melodic clean
vocals with consummate ease, whilst BALFOR’s effortless ability to cross
the melodic/black/death/extreme metal genres draws to them a diverse range of
fans. “Barbaric Blood” is definitely one of the defining moments in
BALFOR’s career.
