(*) - EREBOS (Ἔρεβος): Greek name, probably borrowed from Hebrew erebh or Akkadian erebu ("sunset, evening"), hence "darkness." In mythology, this is the name of the offspring of Chaos, brother of Nyx, and father of Æther. He is the personification of primordial darkness. In later legends Erebos became the name of a place in Hades, the underworld.

For all those who still don’t know HATE, they are one of the Leading Polish Death Black Metal acts. They toured massively through Europe, U.S., Brazil, Mexico, etc. Born in 1990 and founded by ATF Sinner (singer and guitarist) who is the only constant member since the beginning and the mastermind behind HATE formula! The experience of years will not disappoint any extreme Metal worshiper who sets his ears on this masterpiece by the name of “EREBOS”. Get ready to witness the crowning of years on the field, HATE have forged a Deep Dark Art in form of Music who will write their name among other Legends of Metal!
Again as a four piece, like the Prophet Riders of the Apocalypse, HATE have unleashed a Dark Beast by the name of “EREBOS”, Solid as a Rock, Darker than Black! “Erebos” is an outstanding development from “Morphosis” their previous release,still Darker, Deeper, more Epic, Longer… Better! Must say that the production by the hands of Slawek and Wojtek Wieslawski on Herz Studios (Behemoth, Vader,etc.) is beyond impressing! You need to listen to it to know what I mean here!
HATE sound, is a formula developed through ages on darkest soils, a vicious mix of Death-Black Metal with some spiced up Industrial, Traditional metal, Deathcore elements! The four Prophets of Chaos and darkest HATE have done an outstanding work here from furious riffs to a delightful melodic dark touch, strong and hatred vocals, harmonic organic elements, wrathful creations discharged among deadly slower piercing art, in all a totally devastating Death Black Metal Opus! A Colossal Extreme Metal Art created by outstanding musicians!
It’s hard to pick up favorite tracks on this vicious release “Erebos”, since the “Genesis” (album deadly acoustic-like intro) till the end with a “Luminous Horizon” HATE spread their Dark Epic PestApocalyptic Formula. Still I should mention some ear-catching highlights like the outrageous tracks "Lux Aeterna", “Erebos”, “Trinity Moons”, “Hero Cults”, ”Hexagony” and ”Luminous Horizon”!

Ellos han hecho giras masivas por Europa, E.U., Brasil, México, etc. Creados en 1990 y fundados por ATF Sinner (vocal y guitarra) quien es el único miembro constante desde el principio y el cerebro detrás de la fórmula HATE! Sus años de experiencia no decepcionarán a ningún adorador del Metal extremo que ponga sus oídos en esta obra maestra con el nombre de “EREBOS”. Mejor! Debo decir que la producción, que estuvo en las manos de Slawek and Wojtek Wieslawski en los Herz Studios (Behemoth, Vader,etc.), está mas allá de lo impresionante! Tienes que escuchar para saber a que me refiero!
El sonido de HATE, es una fórmla desarrollada a través de las eras en tierras oscuras, una mezcla viciosa de Death-Black Metal condimentado con algo de Industrial, Metal Tradicional, elementos Deathcore! Una mortífera poción para los oídos de los escuchas, una oscura luz de sabiduría solamente posible para una banda con músicos talentosos y calificados y muchos años de experiencia, simplemente lo que HATE tiene!
“Erebos” te lleva a través de un viaje en el Universo más oscuro donde todos vivimos, un mundo donde la Oscuridad es la única luz que debes seguir, para la Luz que nos hizo ciegos con falsas esperanzas, sueños, caos... una utipía ta irreal, impura e incierta como cualquier forma de religión! Desobedecer los estándares y hacer la vida a tu manera, nunca como los otros!
Todo el concepto del artwork y líricas son un espejo de esta Poderosa y Caótica Oscuridad, aquí el genio de ATF Sinner llega a tus oídos con iluminadora sabiduría!
Los cuatro Profetas del Caos y oscuro ODIO (HATE) han hecho un excelente trabajo aquí desde furiosos riffs hasta una delicioso y melódico toque oscuro, voces fuertes y de odio, elementos orgánicos y armónicos, creaciones iracundas descargadas entre un arte lento, mortal y perforador, en todo un totalmente devastador Death Black Metal Opus! Un Arte Colosal del Metal Extremo Metal creado por los músicos más destacados!
Es difícil elegir los tracks favoritos en este vicioso disco, “Erebos”, desde el “Genesis” (algo como un mortal intro acústico) hasta el final con “Luminous Horizon”, HATE extiende su fórmula, Oscura, Épica y PesteApocalíptica. Aunque debo mencionar algunos tracks “atrapa oídos” (ear-catching) como "Lux Aeterna", “Erebos”, “Trinity Moons”, “Hero Cults”, ”Hexagony” y ”Luminous Horizon”!
Esta nueva pieza de arte por HATE demuestra que son mejores que nunca con su actualizado y Oscuro sonido, me atrevo a decir que BEHEMOTH y VADER ya no se sentaran solos en el Trono del Death Black Metal Polaco, HATE han conquistado su camino a la cima con su creatura “Erebos”!
