Portuguese deviant Death Metallers SKINNING have released today "The Gravedigger" new videoclip for the new album "Homicidal Experimentations" set to be released this December via Larvae Records label.

SKINNING play some of the most brutal death metal being made in Portugal and "The Gravedigger" is a fine example of that. In the same vein as the previous two albums he northern Portuguese duo follow their musical path through brutal death metal, something that they have already got us used to until now.
"Homicidal Experimentations", now to be released via Larvae Records, was an album that took more than the desired time to be released, this since the band wanted to release it within a month and then hit the road to promote it. Due to COVID-19 pandemics everything got pretty much on hold and allot needed to be re-planned!

SKINNING have always worked pretty much as a duo, this since Barroso and Vitor always had session bass players until few time from now. With the release of the new work, it was about time for the band to announce that they found the right person to do the bass duties on permanent basis.
This person was already known to the other band members and had all the right requirements that the band seek for, musically speaking she has the same musical taste as the other members which makes everything allot more easy once it comes to new material creation, playing live and at most to allow the band to work as a solid unit.
The new bassist is Susana, she is already known for her apparitions with bands such as Infraktor, Hacksaw also with Barroso, Shadowsphere and also playing with other projects like Ascetic. With this new formation, in 2021 you will find SKINNING on the road promoting their latest work "Homicidal Experimentations".

Something that seems to have been forgotten here in Sweden is our sorrowful history of the crop failure during the 19th century. For several years in the 19th century, Sweden was hit by different crop failures and famines. WORMWOOD's stories focus specifically on 1867-1869. Although it is generally known that famine hit Sweden, it is not so many who know the fate of people and how they lived their lives.

The fate and journey of the ordinary Swede is what WORMWOOD has focused on. What happened when the grain was unusable because of the extremely hot and dry summer? What sacrifices were made when the last cattle had died? How did the Church aid people who asked for help during the endless winter of 1867? How did the most isolated villages get help when everything around them was covered with meters of snow?
WORMWOOD does not answer everything, but their poetic perspective gives us a hint of what happened.

Of Scythe and Burden is not about a specific family, it is an amalgamation of the fate of several families. We follow annameless family in the summer of 1869 in the suites of two disastrous previous years. The father of the family has begun to show early symptoms of a life threatening disease after years of tough living. He sees that the only way to save the family is to sell what little they have left and let his wife and child travel to America while he stays with his farm. Too proud to leave his country, he stays until the only way out is to take his own life, with the help of arsenic, just as many others have done before. In feverish dreams, misery and a melancholic hope that his wife and child can survive the long journey, he thinks about life, death and what comes after.

The video is mostly recorded locally in Roslagen, in authentic environments, with mountainscapes from Jämtland among other things. The music has several different passages that symbolize the different feelings this man felt during these difficult years. Everything from calm and melancholic melodies to raw and fast parts, which convey different kinds of moods. WORMWOOD wants the lyrics and the music to hold your hand on this journey while also making you think and reflect. Do not see this as a page in a history book; see it as a tribute and transportation to a place in Sweden where the people struggled for survival and those who will eventually be forgotten.

On Friday, European death/ black machine BELPHEGOR will invade Latin America and present tracks from their latest studio offering, and most successful album to date, titled »TOTENRITUAL«. This also marks the band’s first venture to Latin America since the release of the longplayer, and is followed by a crusade through Australia and New Zealand in May, a yet unrevealed Summer European tour in June and a return to some of the biggest festivals in summer.

On the occasion of this year's upcoming live rituals, BELPHEGOR present a lyrical performance video of 'THE DEVIL´S SON', a song dedicated to the legendary violinist Niccolò Paganini [1781-1849].

Shortly before invading the 70000Tons Of Metal Cruise, where they will perform two crushing live sets, diabolical black death metal commando BELPHEGOR present a live clip of 'BAPHOMET'.
The song is the opening track of the band's latest offering »TOTENRITUAL« and was recorded during the live ritual at Saving Christmass Festival in Nörrköping, Sweden 15th December 2017. DEMONICAL REVEAL DETAILS ON "CHAOS MANIFESTO" NEW ALBUM AND UNLEASH FIRST SINGLE!

Swedish brutal, melodic, old-school death metal tyrants DEMONICAL, will emerge with a brand new, fifth studio album titled "Chaos Manifesto", on March 23rd in Europe and April 27th in North America via Agonia Records.

DEMONICAL arose from the ashes of formerly disbanded Centinex in 2006, and in comparison to its older sibling, executes death metal in a far more impetuous and melodic manner. "Chaos Manifesto" is a testament to that statement. After nearly five years since the release of the last full-length album "Darkness Unbound" (2013), the Swede's - now led by a new prominent death growler Alexander Högbom (October Tide, Centinex) - continue the traditional DEMONICAL path with fierce HM-2 driven death metal of utter brutality, yet return in a partially new, yet fully fit five-piece line-up.

From the violent album opener "A Void Most Obscure", via melodic mid-tempo anthems "Towards Greater Gods" and "Välkommen Undergång" (the band's first ever track is Swedish), all the way to the final song "Nightbringer", DEMONICAL once again prove that they're a force to be reckoned with in the extreme metal scene. The five-year gap between albums has not made the band become stale in ideas, either:

"Chaos Manifesto features some new elements and streaks the band hasn’t explored before" - comments bassist, Martin Schulman. "We have tapped an award-winning Swedish producer and we are confident that the album - which summons bits and pieces from all our previous releases - will become an improved quality-related chapter for Demonical, and push our Swedish Death Metal Darkness to a new level".

"Chaos Manifesto" was recorded in 2017 and both mixed and mastered by Karl Daniel Lidén (Terra Tenebrosa, Cult of Luna, Katatonia). The album artwork was designed by Karmazid (Urfaust, Wolfbrigade, Blaze of Perdition). Pehr Skjoldhammer of Alfahanne guest appears on vocals.

Norwegian blackened thrash/heavy metallers SUSPERIA, comprising former members of Dimmu Borgir, Satyricon and Old Man's Child, released today a new music video for "My Darkest Moment". The song comes from our upcoming album "The Lyricist" (due out 3/16 via Agonia Records).

"The Lyricist" will arrive nearly nine years to the day its predecessor ("Attitude", 2009) came out. Its release has been scheduled for the 16th of March on Agonia Records. The album is available for pre-ordering HERE.

The origins of SUSPERIA can be traced back to 1998 when Tjodalv, then occupying the drum seat with Dimmu Borgir, and long-time friend Cyrus (ex-Satyricon, Old Man's Child) got together to share ideas and write songs. Clearly rooted and seasoned in the Norwegian black metal scene, SUSPERIA elevated its sound into more melodic areas of extreme metal, embracing and exploring a variety of musical avenues with ease.

On "The Lyricist", SUSPERIA has gone back to its black origin in many ways, one of which is a more grimmer expression. The characteristic melodic twist the band is known for is still present, and an additional layer of variety has been added thanks to new vocalist, Bernt 'Dagon' Fjellestad (whose stage debut with the band was made at last year's 70000 Tons Of Metal Festival). From SUSPERIA's pragmatic point of view, the new album is a "good old-fashioned kick in the head, both old and new fans should find enjoyable".

"The Lyricist" was recorded at three different studios in Norway between February 2015 and May 2016. The album was later mixed and mastered at Strand Studio (Chrome Division, The Wretched End, In Vain) by Marius Strand. Cover design and artwork was prepared by Vincent Fouquet. New band photos were shot by Espen Bakken.
