BELPHEGOR REVEAL COVER ARTWORK, RELEASE DATE AND TRACKLIST OF "THE DEVILS"! [2022.04.07]
European force BELPHEGOR will release
on June 24th, their next full-length album, entitled "THE DEVILS". Once
again their trademark sounding “Diabolical Death Metal“ will be brought
to the world. Today, the band has revealed the cover design. The outstanding
artwork was created by Greek artist Seth Siro Anton, with exalted design
elements influenced by renaissance and middle age paintings.
Helmuth states: "After numerous delays that were out of our control,
Serpenth and I are more than proud of our twelfth full length album and will
have the pleasure to soon share it with the extreme metal community worldwide!
An honor - this horror!"
The track list for the new album is as follows: I. THE DEVILS II. TOTENTANZ - DANCE MACABRE III. GLORIFIZIERUNG DES TEUFELS IV. DAMNATION - HÖLLENSTURZ V. VIRTUS ASINARIA - PRAYER VI. BELPHEGOR LAUNCH ALBUM PRE-ORDER OF "THE DEVILS" AND RELEASE NEW SINGLE ON APRIL
15TH! [2022.04.08]
On April 15th, BELPHEGOR kick off the
pre-order for their upcoming full-length album "THE DEVILS", and offer a
first musical and visual taste with their new single & video "TOTENTANZ -
DANCE MACABRE".
Today the band unveils the first details of their sophomore full-length album
“North” to be released on October 2nd 2020. The nine-song effort was mixed
and mastered by bass player Anders Backelin (Lord
Belial,
Death
Tyrant) at
Armageddon Recordings.
“North” is moving away from tight structural extreme music and want to
bring back the soul of the old greats. The record is an epic journey across
blackened death metal with the band's very own, unique flare to it.
The stunning artwork was created by Juanjo Castellano Rosado (Unleashed, The
Black Dahlia Murder, Varathron, Vomitory, a.o.).
The band explains: “We envisioned ourselves to create something that
was lost after the 90’s era, embracing the freedom of musical structures and
boundaries to create something which speaks from within. This album is a vision
of what we believe was missing from that era with a purpose to bring back the
soul of the old greats. This album is the creation from many years of hardships,
translated and formed to art through musical expression. As entities, as humans,
we have been put aside to bury the raging feelings from within and never to
express them. We understood that not expressing ourselves would be our demise.
As a dam breaking, flooding with energy, this was created to tell the story of
our lives and to express ourselves through art. The album artwork and the songs
themselves tells a story about an Internal journey, of ominous visions through
dreams, touching the subjects of ancient wisdoms long forgotten, cursed
bloodlines”.
The track listing reads as follows 1. Enter 2. Death 3. Imperium Romanum 4. Summoning 5. Pallbearers Hymn 6. Final War 7. Possession 8. North 9. Shaman
More details including the first single and the launch of the pre-orders will be
unveiled soon.

re-establishes them as a serious player on the scene. Please welcome
Tremendum – out on May 5th via
Napalm Records!
Check out album cover and full track listing and read what
HATE's leader Adam Buszko unveils on the artwork:
"The drawing on the cover depicts a nighthawk (Polish: lelek), a nocturnal
bird that was treated with great respect by Slavic tribes in pre-Christian
times. Nighthawks were believed to bring souls to this world and take them away
from dying people. In that case they gathered in big numbers screeching for long
hours. So they were called „messengers of death”. As this album has different
Slavic references, we chose Nighthawk as a symbol that best conveys its
meaning."

NEW ALBUM COVER ART AND RELEASE DATE REVEALED
[2017.02.02]
Italian five-piece death metallers HIDEOUS
DIVINITY third album "Adveniens" will be out via Unique
Leader Records on April 28th. First preview track and pre orders will be
available soon! Outstanding art by Vladimir "Smerdulak" Chebakov.
"ADVENIENS" Tracklist:
1 Ages Die 2 Sub Specie Aeternitatis 3 Passages 4 Angel Of Revolution 5 Feeding Off The Blind 6 When Flesh Unfolds 7 Messianica 8 Future In Red 9 Embodiment Of Chaos (Sinister cover)
Guitarist Enrico S. states:
“It may be pretentious to talk about evolution inside our musical genre, this
is what Adveniens truly means for us,” elaborates guitarist Enrico
Schettino. “Just when we believed that with Cobra Verde we reached
a point of no return, our songwriting turned even more dark and monumental.
Although we’ll never consider ourselves close to LVCIFYRE, Adversarial,
Deathspell Omega, and Akhlys, the influence of this new wave of obscure
metal on us these last years has been massive. The result is our most epic death
metal effort ever conceived."
“ Stefano Morabito and his 16th Cellar Studio set up a new
standard with the production of Adveniens,” he continues.
“Never before has our sound reached such a level of uncompromising intensity
without sounding forced or overproduced. The maniacal efforts made to perfect
every single drum beat, vocal line and guitar chord almost caused a nervous
breakdown but it truly paid off.”
“The entire album is a reflection on history and time, on the succession of
futile ages, on the role of the poet as soothsayer and witness of the winds of
time erasing each one of these ages from the face of the earth. A reflection on
Walter Benjamin predicting the ‘adveniens’ of David Cronenberg,
on Professor O’Blivion predicting an era when ‘all of us will have
special names.’ Adveniens is a violent reflection on art.”

Belgian progressive death metallersIN-QUEST have set "8

late spring release. The follow-up to 2009's "Made Out Of Negative Matter"
was recorded at Split Second Sound studio with producer Jochem Jacobs
(ex-TEXTURES).
Commented IN-QUEST guitarist Douglas Verhoeven:"As the world
didn't perish in 2012, we are back celebrating our existence' eternity with a
massive concept album. For over a year, these songs and themes have been
distilled and purified into perfection where everything is connected. I am proud
to finally come out with the first of news about our new album. A dense, catchy,
polyrhythmic eight-string cyclic opus which will for sure surprise a lot of our
fans. A new sound, a redefinition or our core elements, and for sure a new form
of aggression. Technical, rich and thick with typical IQ bombastic
riffing, lyrical insanity and hypnotic melody work. Think heavy... beyond heavy!
Insiders have claimed the new album to be the missing link between 'The
Comatose Quandaries' groove and 'Made Out Of Negative Matter'
compositional/technical prowess, all wrapped into one big insane ride."

extracted from their upcoming 3rd album ANTITHETICAL is now playing!
MALEVOLENCE had this to say about the audiovisual:
“We wanted to go further by exploring additional ways to present our music.
The concept this time is based in a raw model script build up by our singer &
vocalist CARLOS CARIANO. The visual background inspired in a straight line by the
script was designed by KKSTRUCTURES while the final PROJEKT
assemblage was generated by our long time teammate EURICO BERNARDO. We
feel very pleased with the outcome and the final results perfectly extrapolate
the devastating aura of our brand new single.”
For a product made completely in Portugal, based just on a couple of raw notes
and scribbles, this is the perfect demonstration that no huge investments are
required
to achieve an entertaining product.
DEVOURED UNLIMITED serves as a testimonial to contradict the actual
economic and social chaos panorama overfilling the Portuguese shores, yet
manages to prove that it is necessary to move on, to be perseverant, to explore
imagination and dedicate energy to find new ways to continue on giving good
entertainment and optimism to the masses!
