length ‘Limbo’!
GAEREA is a
black metal quintet from Portugal. Emerging in the beginning of 2016, the band
released their first (self-titled) EP on November 11, 2016 through
Everlasting Spew Records. The EP received many praises from the worldwide
press, and it was not long before the first full length "Unsettling Whispers"
(2018) was presented.
With that, GAEREAhad
the pleasure to perform and tour festivals in Europe and China, including
performances with Jupiterian in April 2019 and a headlining Chinese tour
in May 2019. The band already performed at festivals like SWR Barroselas
Metalfest (PT), De Mortem et Diabolum (DE), Throne Fest (BE),
Frantic Fest (IT), Eresia Metal Fest (IT), Amplifest (PT)
and many more. During the fall of 2019, the band did an extensive tour with
label mates NUMENOREAN under the Doomstar Bookings wing throughout
Europe.

signed a North American booking agreement with Tone Deaf
Touring.
The band, who is currently recording a brand-new album had this to say on the
newly signed deal, through Martin Schulman (bass): "Demonical are thrilled to hook up with Tone Deaf Touring for the North
American market. Our fanbase over there has grown tremendously during the past
years and now with such strong booking partner, we are eagerly looking forward
bringing our Stockholm-style death metal upon US soil."

have been forced to reschedule their Irish Tour to June 2022. Together with WINTERFYLLETH
andTHE CRAWLING,
the band will bring their Vortex Performance to Limerick, Dublin and
Belfast.
The band comments:"Irish Wanderers, as you probably noticed by
now, our Irish Tour with Winterfylleth and The Crawling will not
be able to happen in about 2 weeks. We have worked hard with Doomstar

To celebrate the band 5 years of
existence the Cathartic black metal outfit GAEREA have
announced their first ever exhibition.
The band reveals more details on this exhibition:"Throughout the
first 5 years since the birth of the Vortex Society, GAEREA has always
aimed for the highest standards of creativity while partnering up with some of
the most creative individual minds who stand for endless artistic freedom
without ever compromising their art to any shape or form of oppression. With
this creative process in mind, we are resetting the bar even higher by bringing
the VORTEX EXHIBITION to life for the very first time.
The Vortex Exhibition will be exclusively created by the fans who wish to
present their unfathomable art during a very special event which will occur
during this fall in Portugal. We are looking for Photographers, Visual and
Digital Artists, Sculptors and any other kind of creators who would be willing
to take part in this venture, work closely with the band into creating a unique
piece which will be physically curated and presented in this exhibition.
Every artist will be invited to attend this event alongside the created piece
and be part of an innovative experience for every Vortex Fan to Wonder.

No one combines death and black metal quite like Polands HATE.
With unflinching viciousness and a sense of atmosphere unique to the band, on
Rugia, their twelfth full-length, they push the boundaries of their craft
even further. It was clear to me that it should build upon and evolve from
our previous record, "Auric Gates Of Veles" (2019), both musically and
lyrically. However, every Hate record stands as a separate journey, and never
twice to the same place. You never know exactly where it will lead you."
states vocalist/guitarist ATF Sinner, who has led the band since 1991.
Fresh blood in the bands line-up also helped contribute to Rugias
unique sound. Pavulon (drums), who had played with the band since 2014,
was forced to step down from the band due to serious health issues. The band
tapped Nar-Sil (Neolith, Virgin Snatch, Embrional) to take his place.
"Working with a new drummer this time around was a fascinating experience for
me. Nar-Sils technique and presence are quite different from Pavulons,
and that definitely comes across. I believe we managed to construct a refreshing
new chapter to our discography, composing nine truly sinister onslaughts of pure rage"
The band elected to once again track the album in the Hertz Recording Studio
in Poland, and it was recorded, mixed and mastered by the Wieslawski Brothers
(Behemoth, Decapitated). Everything was laid down over about two to three
weeks, with longtime collaborator Michal‚ Staczkun providing the ambient
elements of the bands sound. The only struggle came about at the mixing stage,
where the final character of the record emerges. "Here we encountered many
problems, contradictory visions too. The producers had their own idea for the
overall sound, which differed from what I had in mind, so we were trying to find
a good compromise and it took us a few months."Given how strongly the
personality of the record shines through, it is safe to say that the compromise
reached was definitely in its best interest, standing as perhaps the best
sounding record in the bands long career. Hate is also celebrating thirty years
of activity with Rugia, Sinner affirming he is as driven as ever.
"Well, the fire is still burning! Im proud that I have built a band with such
strong energy, thats lasted for a long time in spite of numerous line-up
changes and obstacles in our way. We are still here and we create with ever
growing consciousness and dedication. The energy speaks through us. Honestly, I
think of the band as something much bigger and more profound than the individual
people involved in it over any given period of time. I believe we create a
channel for energies that surpass us."

The band published the following information: "Friends, we have
been quiet for way too long and now that there is some hope that live shows
are seeming possible once again, we feel it is time for blood and fire to
reign.
In September,
NOCTEM
will enter the studio to begin recording new singles and a new album that we
will begin releasing later in 2021 and into 2022.
In addition to this, we have a new brother amongst our ranks with the
welcome acquisition of a second guitarist of whom we will unveil soon.
And finally, we are in the process of preparing numerous tours across Europe
and beyond, and news regarding these live shows will come in the not too
