Norway's melodic extreme metallers SUSPERIA,
comprising former members of Dimmu Borgir and Satyricon will
return with their long-awaited first full-length studio album since 2009, titled
"The Lyricist", on March 16th via Agonia Records.

"The Lyricist" was recorded at three different studios in Norway between
February 2015 and May 2016. The album was later mixed and mastered at
Strand Studio (Chrome Division, The Wretched End, In Vain) by
Marius Strand. Cover design and artwork was prepared by Vincent Fouquet,
Above Chaos.
The first single together with pre-orders and album formats will be revealed in
January 2018!

“It’s been a really long way to be finally able to wrap it all up, countless
nights spent on writing the music and lyrics first, then working on the album’s
pre-production, followed by what seemed to be never-ending, proper recording
sessions, and tones of work that had to be done for the band afterwards. We
really wanted this new album to become something really special and therefore,
to avoid any haphazard decisions, we let them come out of us smoothly, without
putting ourselves under any external tension and stuff. Did it pay off? Well,
we’ll see… We surely worked our asses off, pushed things back and forth to get
the best out of it. As a result we’ve got something we are damn proud of,
something that we believe surpasses on all possible levels everything we’ve done
in the past. I simply believe we’d outdone ourselves and recorded something that
will cause your hearts beat faster…” – comments Quazarre, the band’s
composer, vocalist and guitarist.
The title chosen, “The I”, for the record is not only a phonetic acronym
of the band’s name, but above all it reflects the manifesto they stand for since
the Horde’s inception in the year 2000 – the notion of freedom of choice and
will. A supremacy of an individual over any external factors being imposed on us
by others, with special emphasis on religion and its convictions, dogmas and
paradigms. “The I” is a rebellious manifesto targeted against all those
who stand opposed to anything that drives us towards individual perfection.

This darkest masterpiece "Solarflesh" has been recorded by Filip
"Heinrich" Halucha (Decapitated,Vesania,etc.) at Sound Division Studio
and then was mixed and mastered by the famous metal elite gurus Wieslawski
Brothers at Hertz Studio (Vader, Decapitated, Devilish Impressions,etc.).
Together with the band, they have created the darkest best sound of HATE
to the date!
It is always hard to pick up highlights on such highly uniform quality work, but
yet I give it a try.
Crawling from underneath the Hellenic obscure "Watchful Eye Of Doom"
introduction, the new rising offspring of Hate takes form on"Eternal Might",
revealing the updated formula of Hate, blackened than ever before the
sound couldn't be better. Unleashed from the darkest pits of hell comes the "Alchemy Of Blood"
track, addicting since the start, this is an hymn to blackened death metal.
On and on, the elite tracks keep your spine with chills one after the other, the "Timeless Kingdom"
is a proof of that, ending up with such a catchy dark melody so viciously
addicting that shall haunt your ears for a long, long time, an absolutely
timeless and epic track to say the least. Time now for a "Festival Of Slaves"
which is another outstanding fast and brutal track of untamed fury against this
worlds slavery and brainwashing.Ignited by a great Arabic lute intro by
the Polish guitarist Mateusz
Szemraj the title track "Solarflesh" unveils one of the best tracks
created by the band so far, an epic alchemy of right proportions, a majestic
hymn of blackened spiritual aura! The album ends with in an haunting hollow
track by the title of
"Mesmerized",
where ATF Sinner vocals blend perfectly with the ones of Androniki!The album finishes with the addition of 3 dark ambient / industrial bonus tracks with guitars
tuned really low, sounding very organic and dirty at the same time, all in a
blackened experimental vibe, quite rebel and innovative, reminding bands like
Mayhem, Anaal Nathrakh or
Triptykon!
In all "Solarflesh" is one of the best pieces of extreme metal in the
last years and the best album of Hate so far. Unique, precise, technical, epic,
triumphant... never before the band has been this close to black metal, the
content is deeper and darker than ever in their past! Be sure not to miss this
black diamond on your collection, in my opinion one of the best blackened death
metal albums to the date. With "Solarflesh" unleashed the HATE kings have been

Nació en 1990 bajo las manos de su único miembro restante y fundador ATF
Sinner, el genio y arquitecto detrás de la fatal formula de Hate! Las
recientes e incesantes giras por America (Northe y Sur) y en el continente
Europeo (más de 200 fechas después del lanzamiento de “Erebos”) y toda la
experiencia después de todos estos años de existencia, no decepcionara a ningún
metalero extremo que ponga sus oídos en esta oscura y colosal pieza de arte bajo
el título de “Solarflesh a Gospel of Radiant Diviniy”, una afilada navaja
épica de refinado arte death-black metalero en el trono! Coronado por el
legendario HATE, Reyes del metal extremo!
“Solarflesh” es un paso más adelante en la carrera de la banda, en el
cual el sonido de estos cuatro jinetes del apocalipsis se acerca cada vez más a
la perfección. Este nuevo álbum empieza donde la pieza de arte “Erebos”
termina. Impulsando sus habilidades musicales y talento al límite, los
leviatanes de HATE han creado una inquietante obra maestra de death black
metal con bordes polacos. Oscura, precisa, dinámica, estricta y más poderosa que
nunca! Elite del death black metal hecho por aquellos que son maestros en este
oscuro arte de la alquimia! Sin duda la mejor y mas blackera pieza de la banda
hasta ahora, probablemente el mejor álbum extremo del 2013. Con sonido propio,
se desapega categóricamente de cualquier comparación con bandas como Vader,
Behemoth, Decapitated! Difícil rivalizar con tan colosal sonido, afilado
hasta la perfección por los titánicos dioses del metal HATE!
El nuevo y colosal opus está influenciado una vez más por la magia oscura
helénica creando una única y mística atmosfera ancestral a su alrededor, para
reforzarlo aun mas, Hate solicito el apoyo en la voz de Androniki
Skoula (Chaostar) cuya voz encaja perfectamente en tracks como “Watchful
Eye Of Doom” y “Mezmerized”. Debajo de la superficie de “Solarflesh”
dentro de todas las letras, escondidas o explicitas dentro de todas las
canciones, así como el fuerte simbolismo en el arte del disco, recibes un
mensaje de conciencia sobre este mundo de esclavismo, físico y psíquico. En
conciencia deberíamos abrazar la libertad, sin ataduras a un dios, política ni
religión. Todo el concepto del álbum está iluminado e inspirado por los
majestuosos poderes de la quinta esencia de los aspectos oscuros de la
naturaleza así como lo más oscuro de todas las luces brillantes, la libre y
desencadenada sabiduría humana!
Esta oscura obra maestra titulada “Solarflesh” fue grabada por Filip
“Heinrich” Halucha (Decapitated, Vesania. Etc.) en Sound Division Studio
y después fue mezclada y masterizada por los famosos gurús de elite en el metal,
los hermanos Wieslawski en Hertz Studio (Vader, Decapitated, Devilish
Impressions, etc.) Juntos con la banda, han creado el mejor y más oscuro
sonido para HATE hasta la fecha .
Es difícil escoger algún track que sobresalga en un trabajo con tan alta calidad,
pero aun así lo intentare. Arrastrándose por debajo de la oscuridad helénica, la
introducción de “Watchful Eye Of Doom” –Ojo vigilante de la perdición-,
el nuevo naciente descendiente de Hate toma forma en “Eternal Might” –Poder
Eterno-, revelando la formula actualizada de Hate, mas ennegrecida que nunca
antes, el sonido no podría ser mejor. Desencadenado del foso más oscuro del
infierno viene “Alchemy Of Blood” –Alquimia de la sangre-, adictiva desde
el principio, este es un himno al death-black metal. Incesantemente los tracks
te mantienen con escalofríos en la piel una tras otra canción, “Timeless
Kingdom” –Reino Eterno- es una prueba de eso, terminando con una pegajosa y
oscura melodía tan adictiva que encantara a tus oído por un muy, muy largo
tiempo, un track absolutamente épico. Ahora vamos con “Festival Of Slaves”
–Festival De Esclavos- que es otro rápido, brutal y sobresaliente track de
salvaje furia contra este mundo de esclavismo y lavados cerebrales. Encendido
con una maravillosa introducción con laúd arábigo tocado por el guitarrista
polaco Mateusz Szemraj, el track que titula al disco “Solarflesh”
revela uno de los mejores tracks creados por la banda hasta ahora, un alquimia
épica con las proporciones correctas, un majestuoso himno con una aura
espiritual ennegrecida! El álbum termina con inquietante track titulado
“Mesmerized” –Hipnotizado-, donde la voz de ATF Sinner se mezcla
perfectamente con la voz de Androniki!
El álbum termina con 3 tracks adicionales de carácter ambiental oscuro-industrial
como bonus tracks, con las guitarras ecualizadas en una frecuencia muy baja,
sonando muy orgánicas y sucias al mismo tiempo, todas en una vibra experimental
y ennegrecida, rebeldes e innovadoras, recordando a bandas como Mayhem, Anaal
Nathrakh o Triptykon!
En todo, “Solarflesh” es una de las mejores piezas de metal extremo en
los últimos años, y el mejor álbum de Hate hasta ahora. Único, preciso,
técnico, épico, triunfante… Nunca había estado la banda tan cerca al black
metal, el contenido es más profundo y oscuro que en el pasado! Asegúrate de no
perderte de este diamante negro en tu colección, en mi opinión uno de los
mejores álbumes de death black metal hasta la fecha. Con “Solarflesh”
desencadenado, los reyes del odio –HATE- han sido finalmente coronados!!
Quítate las vendas de los ojos, Los esclavos servirán por siempre mientras los
reyes desencadenados gobiernen el reino eterno!
