Formed in 2014, Wormwood have had quite the musical journey. Starting off as a black'n roll band, then turned into a melodic black metal band with folk and rock influences. Now, they have advanced to their true form, which is an unique take on Scandinavian black metal.

Lyrical themes goes from the vastness of the cosmos, northern lore, the hardships of the 1800-hundreds and the fall of mankind.

Zorn comments:
“We knew we wanted a fast, heavy-hitting epic as the opener for "Descending Into Madness", says mastermind Zorn. “The first idea that came to mind was an unreleased Devian song that was originally written for the third album. So this track is co-written with Emil Dragutinovic (ex-Marduk, ex-DEVIAN, ex-The Legion). It started from his original idea, blended with some of mine. We kept the core spirit of it but fully ‘Zornheymified’ the song - I wrote new parts, and Scucca added the choir break. The result absolutely rips.”
He continues: “From a story perspective, this song serves as the prologue to the entire prequel. It takes us back to a time when the asylum functioned as a field hospital during the Thirty Years’ War, and to the dreadful night when a group of deserters were brutally executed by the shores of Sêlasee (the lake near the asylum) and hanged from the old oak. It also briefly touches on the period when the place served as a sanatorium for the dying.”

FENRIS BIOGRAPHY

Originally formed in 1997, Fenris has a 14 year history of combining thunderous viking metal with scorching black metal. At times blindingly fast, sometimes atmospheric, but always melodic and
dynamic.

With strong roots in Nordic and Germanic mythology, and some of the lyrics in their mother tongue, the mood set is that of ancient peoples, their hopes and beliefs and their wars and hardships. To date,
two albums have been released: 'Offerings to the Hunger' (2001) and 'Ordeal' (2005), the last of which was an unsigned release.

In their existence Fenris has shared the stage with Enslaved, Sear Bliss, Rotting Christ, Tyr, Einherjer, SkyForger and many others.

Após uma estreia que estabeleceu bases sólidas para a sua afirmação no panorama nacional, este ano o evento terá lugar no RCA Club, em Lisboa, apresentando-se num formato alargado de dois dias consecutivos, nos dias 12 e 13 de junho.

Primeiras Confirmações para a 10ª Edição do Under the Doom:

Lisboa volta a ser ponto de encontro para os territórios mais densos e atmosféricos da música pesada com o regresso do festival UNDER THE DOOM ao LAV - Lisboa ao Vivo nos dias 25 e 26 de Setembro. A 10ª edição do evento começa agora a ganhar forma concreta com o anúncio da primeira ronda de confirmações em cartaz, que inclui um headliner, dois co-headliners e ainda um conjunto de nomes que reforçam a identidade singular de um festival que já se tornou ponto de paragem obrigatória para todos os fãs de música pintada em tons de cinzento bem escuro. Uma segunda vaga de confirmações será revelada em Abril, completando assim o alinhamento.

Como cabeça de cartaz do dia 26 de Setembro surgem os suecos Draconian, num concerto que assinala o regresso da vocalista Lisa Johansson à banda e a apresentação de um novo álbum de estúdio. Referência incontornável do doom/death metal melódico europeu, o coletivo escandinavo prepara-se para apresentar um espetáculo marcado por esse há muito aguardado reencontro e por um repertório que atravessa diferentes fases da sua discografia, agora renovada por novo material.

Em estreia absoluta em Portugal, os norte-americanos Evoken vão protagonizar aquele que será, indubitavelmente, um dos momentos mais aguardados desta edição do UNDER THE DOOM. Alvo de enorme culto no hermético universo do funeral doom, os músicos trazem pela primeira vez ao público nacional a sua abordagem austera e profundamente atmosférica, construída ao longo de décadas de consistência artística. Também com estatuto digno de destaque, os Schammasch apresentam um concerto exclusivo dedicado ao 10º aniversário de «Triangle», com o álbum a ser interpretado na íntegra e complementado por outros temas marcantes da carreira da banda suíça, num espetáculo pensado especificamente para esta celebração.

A primeira vaga de confirmações integra também a lendária Liv Kristine, que regressa aos palcos acompanhada por uma nova banda e com novo álbum a apresentar, reforçando uma vez mais o seu percurso singular dentro da música gótica e atmosférica. No plano nacional, os Atone e ANZV assumem particular destaque: os primeiros, formados por ex-elementos dos DESIRE, dos VS777 e de outros projetos de relevo no underground luso, assinalam neste festival a sua estreia absoluta e a única atuação ao vivo de 2026, enquanto os segundos apresentam novo álbum e protagonizam também o seu único concerto em Lisboa nesse ano. As brasileiras CRYPTA estão oficialmente confirmadas como cabeças de cartaz da segunda edição do LX EXTREME SUMMER INVASION, assumindo o papel de principal destaque da noite de 13 de Junho de 2026. Após uma edição de estreia que estabeleceu as bases para a sua afirmação plena no circuito nacional, este ano o evento regressa ao RCA Club, em Lisboa, com um formato alargado a dois dias consecutivos, decorrendo a 12 e 13 de Junho. A presença da banda liderada por Fernanda Lira reforça a aposta do festival lisboeta num cartaz composto por nomes de forte relevância a nível internacional e vem consolidar a sua identidade enquanto plataforma dedicada à apresentação de alguns dos mais significativos representantes da música extrema contemporânea

Reconhecidas pela sua abordagem feroz e pelo rigor técnico que define a sua identidade criativa, as CRYPTA têm vindo a afirmar-se como um dos nomes mais relevantes da nova geração do death metal mundial. Formada em 2019, em São Paulo, no Brasil, a banda nasceu da iniciativa da baixista e vocalista Fernanda Lira e da baterista Luana Dametto, já amplamente reconhecidas pela sua experiência e pelo papel desempenhado na projecção internacional da cena extrema brasileira. O quarteto desenvolveu rapidamente uma linguagem própria, ancorada na tradição do OSDM, mas marcada por uma execução contemporânea, precisa e determinada.

Desde os primeiros ensaios, Jão e companhia destacaram-se pela crueza sonora, pela rudeza e por um discurso frontal e crítico, afirmando-se rapidamente como uma das vozes mais contundentes do punk hardcore brasileiro. Ao longo dos anos, foram incorporando a agressividade do thrash à urgência das origens, criando um som bem próprio, que lhes permitiu ultrapassar fronteiras e conquistar reconhecimento internacional.
