The Swedish melodic folk/black metal-band WORMWOOD present their new drummer Tatu Kerttula!

Statement from Tatu himself: "I am very proud to announce that I have taken over the drum throne in Wormwood. I am extremely happy and honoured to be part of the Wormwood family. I look forward to the exciting time together that lies ahead.

DANIEL JOHANSSON PARTS WAYS WITH WORMWOOD!

WORMWOOD have announced that their founding drummer Daniel Johansson has parted ways with the band!

The band comments: "We've been sharing a lot of positive news lately. So, here comes another one to even things out a little.
Unfortunately, ARKIVET became Daniel's third and last album with us.
In November 2020, right after the drums were recorded, Daniel informed us that he intended to leave the drum stool with this album.
We made a mutual decision to keep this info underground during the promotion period for ARKIVET.
This is of course sad, but no hard feelings whatsoever.
We wish Daniel good luck in the future, and we want to thank him for all the great efforts in Wormwood. He has really made a big impact in our music.
On the bright side of things, since Daniel's resignation, we've got a new addition to the band, a fantastic drummer who's truly a worthy successor.
We have rehearsed together for 8 months now, and we will introduce him to you tomorrow.
With that said, we have no problem continuing our path forward.
Rather the opposite."

The album title, "Arkivet" ("The Archive"), is a document you write for your close ones after your passing where you describe all your funeral arrangements, where important documents are located, last wishes, etc. WORMWOOD uses this as a metaphor for the whole world. The last words to an already dead planet.

"Arkivet" has been on CD, vinyl and digital, August 27th, 2021.
