Conquest Icon was found in late 2009 by Andy Blakk (ex-Pyorrhoea,
Suicide Circle) and Empherion (Empheris, Hellish).
Band, supported by Imp from Saltus, started to work on debut album
in November 2009 and in April 2010 “Hellspire” was finished. Album was
mixed and produced by Andy Blakk (drums and vocals were recorded in
KPD Studio; guitars and bass were recorded in ABH Studio).
Music on “Hellspire” is an old school blackened death metal.
Album was released by 16th of July 2010. CDs are available through band's site

After releasing debut album "Hellspire", band takes no rest. In August
2010 the lineup was completed and band started to work on the material for the
split "We Are The Ancients" (split is shared with Empheris, Wraith,
Necroist and Purifier). Split is soon to be released.
In May 2012 co-founder and band's vocalist, Empherion, decided to leave
the band due to personal reasons. He was replaced by Ronve. Current

BLACK ALTAR BIOGRAPHY
Anno Bastardi 1996
In the darkest abyss of chaos where time and space are impenetrable, Black
Altar came into existence. It took its earthly shape during blasphemous
Sabbath in the Night of Walpurgia Anno Bastardi 1996, when it was summoned by
the voice of Shadow. He, as the first guardian of Black Altar,
have started an unholy crusade, thus awaking fear and pain among the
hypocritical and hideous christian lambs.
1997
The first stroke into their rotten system of values was a demo entitled "Na
Uroczysku..." (On a secret place..) which gained a recognition among several
groups of listeners. It was recorded by Shadow in 1997 at Selani
Studio with the help of Doc (RIP), Vader's drummer, in the role of a
music engineer. Released under Shadow's own label - Odium Rec.,
the first issue of 500 copies was sold out rapidly, making the name of Black
Altar popular in Poland and in other countries as well.
2003/2004
In September 2003 at Selani Studio Black Altar recorded their debut album
entitled "Black Altar". It was a great improvement in the development of
the band. The new hymns are still more extreme and more technical. "Black
Altar" was mixed and mastered at Studio X. For the track "Fire ov
Immortal Self" a professional video was recorded. In April 2004 the material
is released in the form of CD and a gate-fold LP by the German Christhunt
Productions. Odium Rec released a limited to 666 copies hand-numbered with
corpse blood cassette version of "Black Altar".
2006
After releasing the debut album Shadow parts with his musicians and as of
that moment Black Altar became temporarily a one-man band. In 2006
WarKult Prod from Peru released remastered version of Black Altar "Wrath
ov the Gods" (with 4 bonus tracks) as split, slip case cd, with Nebular
Mystic (Nor).
In October 2006 Black Altar finished record session of their second
album called "Death Fanaticism".
2008
2nd album “Death Fanaticism” was released on cd by Odium Records.
2009
On 2009 Antichristian Front Rec (Spa) released “Death Fanaticism”
on vinyl, limited to 500 copies.
Night Birds Records (Ukr) released „Death Fanaticism” tape version
limited to 300 copies and Propaganda Records (Ukr) pro tape limited to
666 copies.
On October 2009 7 Gates Rec (Pol) released digi pack A5 version of „Death
Fanaticism” album, limited to 500 copies. First 100 with a t-shirt.
2010
On July 2010 Black Altar recorded tracks for mini album "Suicidal
Salvation" and for the split Black Altar/Varathron/Thornspawn during
the same session.
2013
On January 2013 Black Altar / Varathron / Thornspawn “Emissaries of the
Darkened Call” split was finally unleashed by Odium Records as a
jewel case cd version and as a deluxe gatefold vinyl limited to 350 copies on
black, and to 150 copies on clear vinyl by Floga Rec/Hellsfire Rec from
Greece. Moreover, the A5 digipack was released via Black Saw Prod (Mex) and
BlackDeath Coven (USA) and a tape version limited to 140 copies in cardboard
box via RawBlackKult Prod from Bolivia. There were 3 new tracks of
Black Altar + intro and outro.
Also mini album “Suicidal Salvation” was released by Darker Than Black
Records on digipack cd.
2017
Gefandi Ör Andlät and Daemonum Subeunt, both from Ondskapt, joined
Black Altar.
Split with Beastcraft was released by Odium Records on digipack cd,
Lp, wooden box (limit to 50) and by Blackwood Prod (Uk) on tape limited
to 100 copies. Videoclip for “Tophet” song was shot with the
participation of James Stewart (Vader), Acerbus (Ondskapt), V. Priest (Acherontas)
and Sorath Northgrove (Beastcraft).
2018
Gefandi Ör Andlät and Daemonum Subeunt left Black Altar.
2019
Compilation of “Suicidal Salvation” mini album and Black Altar
songs taken from the split with Varathron / Thornspawn was released by
Odium Records as digipack, Lp and wooden box. Also Legions ov Darkness
(UK) unleashed cdr wooden box limited to 66 copies and tape limited to 100.
Re-edition of the debut album “Black Altar” was released by Odium
Records on digipack and Wooden Box (limited to 20 copies) with new mastering
and layout.
2 songs for the split wth Kirkebrann was recorded.

have revealed details on the new album entitled "Bellum Regiis" that
should be out via Metal
Blade Records in Spring 2025!
Perun V. aka ATF Sinner reveals some details: "Greetings everybody!!! As you already know, we have been diligently putting
the finishing touches on the release of our upcoming record, Bellum Regiis.
Recording wrapped up a while back and production this time around was handled by
David Castillo (Candlemass, Carcass, Dark Tranquility, Katatonia et alii)
up north in Stockholm's Studio Grondahl. He did a tremendous job and the
results will speak for themselves soon!
With the year drawing to an end, I wanted to share a few details. Bellum
Regiis, which roughly translates to "A War of Royalty" or "A War of Kings"
is an album centered around the human relationship with authority and our desire
to control. When are we most ourselves? When we are with power or standing up
against it? How does that figure into our relationship with the world around us?
Can we truly distance ourselves from the fate nature has in store for us? Over
the course of nine songs, we sink our teeth into those questions from many
viewpoints. I won't give away all of the album's secrets in advance but we delve
into our past and present, mythologies (mostly Slavic and Greek) and history, in
order to try and divine what the future may bring. Bellum Regiis will see us continuing our work with Metal Blade Records
and is slated for a Spring 2025 release. The first single from the album will be
"Iphigenia," and without saying too much, I will advise you to look her
up. It's an interesting story and it will tell you a lot about the themes of our
coming record. Look out for the single on the 25th of March. As you might
expect, 2025 will be a year in full speed ahead for HATE. We will be
touring extensively in support of Bellum Regiis and are planning on
leaving no stone unturned. So until then, farewell and raise the glass for the
New Year!"

BELPHEGOR was founded in 1993 and spread like a virus within the
underground. Meanwhile, their »BLOODBATH IN PARADISE« demo has become

Anti-religious with nihilistic tendencies as well as provocative topics,
BELPHEGOR moved on. The debut album »The Last Supper« [1995] let the
community of followers and opponents grow. Inexorably, the band pushes their

Germany, 1486: The Dominican inquisitors Kramer and Sprenger publish "MALLEUS
MALEFICARUM" "The Hammer of the Witches", the most important book on the
Headhunt and execution of witches and heretics in medieval Europe. The book

witches. MALLEUS MALEFICARUM was approved by the Catholic Church in the year of
1487.
Norway, 1986: Five guys from the Sarpsborg area in southeast Norway get together
to form Withchammer, playing compromiseless thrashy HM with melodic
overtones and drawing inspiration to many of their lyrical concepts from the
MALLEUS MALEFICARUM, from which the name also is derived. Only this time,
the hammer is here to stay... With the classic release of 1487 (vinyl now
a sold-out item CD available) and the The Lost Tapes, the book of
Witchhammer is continuously in creation..

revealed details on the bands sixth full-length album entitled "Credo
Certe Ne Cras" to be released via
MNRK Heavy on 28th of October 2022.
The blood and fire spewed forth onstage by
NOCTEM is a
visceral, fitting companion to their unrivaled sound, a vicious black metal
assault enhanced with a signature Iberian flourish.
NOCTEM
follows that career landmark with a new, definitive masterpiece, merging the
crushing cacophony of angry, adrenaline-fueled lust with newfound sorrows
and mournful melodic might. "Credo Certe Ne Cras" ("Believe With
Certainty That There is No Tomorrow") is a work of art. The album demands to
be experienced as much as listened to, invoking ritualistic examination.

just released their new music video for the title track "Coma" from their new album.

GAEREA are
waking into a new era. The Portuguese masked sensations are no longer strictly a
black metal band. With "Coma", they've surfaced to the top of extreme
metal. Their critically acclaimed new album racked up more than 1 million
streams within 24 hours of landing on Spotify.
"Coma, the quintet's fourth full-length, not only finds them sharpening their
craft", FLOOD gushes,"but it also makes a strong claim as 2024's
best metal record, regardless of subgenre".
To lay claim over their new domain, later this month,
GAEREA are
touring North America with Zeal & Ardor and Zetra. Today, the band
are treating the vortex societies in the U.S. and Canada with a tantalizing
glimpse of their striking live performance. The new video for "Coma"
includes never-before-seen footage from this year's treks to China and Taiwan,
though the title track off their new album also shows just how far
GAEREA have
come.
Though produced by their trusted confident Miguel Tereso, "Coma"
broadens
GAEREA's signature sound by taking it in two seemingly opposed
directions. The title track is one of the heavier songs on the whole album.
Concussive drum fills open the floodgates for a venomous groove that shakes its
scales like a dragon. But its tortured screams and piercing melodies reveal a
mysterious phantom pain.
"This is the song that explains the whole record, basically", the band's
unnamed vocalist told Apple Music. "I was thinking about how to write a song
about someone in a coma, but they're still conscious of it. Because if there's
no consciousness, there won't be a song. So, this is a bit like waking up in a
dark room and seeing the whole word around you, but you can't really figure out
if it's reality, if it's memories, if it's your imagination, or just your lost
dreams in life. It deals with that anxiety of trying to figure out if you're
really here or not, or if this is the afterlife - and whatever the afterlife
might look like".
Next year,
GAEREA are
taking Coma on their first headlining tour of Europe. Catch them in April in
Germany, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
