The band comments: "Inmates, The day has finally arrived. "Deus Rex" is out now!
The opening track from our upcoming album “Descending Into Madness” is now available on all major streaming platforms.
Stream it, add it to your playlists, and share it with your friends. Every listen, share, and playlist addition helps us spread the word and reach new listeners."

Zorn comments:

“We knew we wanted a fast, heavy-hitting epic as the opener for "Descending Into Madness", says mastermind Zorn. “The first idea that came to mind was an unreleased Devian song that was originally written for the third album. So this track is co-written with Emil Dragutinovic (ex-Marduk, ex-DEVIAN, ex-The Legion). It started from his original idea, blended with some of mine. We kept the core spirit of it but fully ‘Zornheymified’ the song - I wrote new parts, and Scucca added the choir break. The result absolutely rips.”
He continues: “From a story perspective, this song serves as the prologue to the entire prequel. It takes us back to a time when the asylum functioned as a field hospital during the Thirty Years’ War, and to the dreadful night when a group of deserters were brutally executed by the shores of Sêlasee (the lake near the asylum) and hanged from the old oak. It also briefly touches on the period when the place served as a sanatorium for the dying.”
What do you think of the song? Let us know in the comments and welcome back to Zornheim."

PRE-ORDER NOW:
Pre-order Blue Marbled Vinyl, special limited CD Digipak and the Zornheym Book "The Zornheim Archives" here: https://music.nobledemon.com/madness

Marking the band’s third full-length release, "Descending Into Madness" serves as a prequel to the dark and intricate story surrounding the asylum "Zornheim", its inmates and their doctors - where it is never quite clear who is truly insane.

MORE ABOUT ZORNHEYM:

ZORNHEYM
was founded in Stockholm, Sweden, as an ambitious vision by its creator, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Zorn (ex-Dark Funeral), with the goal of realizing his interpretation of the ultimate concept band - a complete fusion of music, narrative, and visual storytelling. Since its inception, the band has set out to redefine the traditional "metal meets symphony" approach, developing a sound that blends cinematic orchestration with a powerful heavy metal backbone and strong influences from melodic death metal, all driven by a distinct sense for epic, memorable melodies.

At the core of ZORNHEYM lies a dark and expanding narrative universe. Each album unfolds within the walls of the mental asylum Zornheim - a place shrouded in mystery, madness, and horror - where the institution itself becomes the central character. Across releases, the band explores different eras of its sinister history through layered storytelling, recurring themes, and hidden connections. This concept was introduced on their debut album "Where Hatred Dwells and Darkness Reigns" (2017) and further expanded on the critically acclaimed "The Zornheim Sleep Experiment" (2021), followed by the acoustic EP "The Forgotten Inmates" (2023), which completed the first chapter of the asylum’s story.

ZORNHEYM’s artistic vision extends far beyond music. Their albums are accompanied by detailed visual concepts and graphic novels, bringing the asylum and its inmates to life in another dimension, while their music videos are produced as short films that further immerse the audience in the band’s universe.

On stage, ZORNHEYM transforms into a theatrical experience led by frontman Bendler, whose commanding presence draws the audience deep into the asylum’s grip. On special occasions, actors become part of the performance, elevating the show beyond a traditional concert into a dark and immersive spectacle.

Marking the band’s third full-length release, "Descending Into Madness" serves as a prequel to the dark and intricate story surrounding the asylum "Zornheim", its inmates and their doctors - where it is never quite clear who is truly insane.

"In an era obsessed with speed and instant results, we chose substance over shortcuts. This album was forged over years of relentless writing, arranging and refining. Every decision mattered. Every layer was earned. Nothing was rushed, nothing was accidental: until the vision stood complete," the band comments. "'Somewhere Far Beyond' is the first glimpse into this new chapter: a prequel that takes us back to the moment when Dr. Bettelheim first arrives at Zornheim, long before the madness fully unfolds. The track captures the epic choral power that defines the album, pushing our sound further than ever, with every member delivering at their absolute peak."

BELPHEGOR - "Scarlet Beast – Leviathan" new single and music video!

BELPHEGOR
COUNTRY: AUSTRIA
GENRE: DIABOLICAL DEATH METAL

[ Cover Artwork By: Dhomth ]

BELPHEGOR - "SCARLET BEAST - LEVIATHAN" NEW SINGLE AND MUSIC VIDEO!
[2026.02.18]

Diabolical death black metal titans BELPHEGOR have released a new single titled "Scarlet Beast - Leviathan" via Reigning Phoenix Music.

With the release of "Scarlet Beast – Leviathan", BELPHEGOR return at their most menacing and deliberate, delivering a track that moves with the force of an advancing colossus. Built upon lumbering, monolithic riffs and a suffocating sense of inevitability, the single embodies a towering presence, vast, unrelenting, and absolute.

"Scarlet Beast – Leviathan" does not chase speed; it commands submission. Favoring tension, density, and sheer authority over velocity, the song fuses ritualistic black metal atmosphere with the crushing weight of death metal. The result is a sonic behemoth, oppressive, deliberate, and unstoppable, advancing through scorched terrain with death trailing in its wake.

The single arrives as BELPHEGOR kick off their North American “Praise The Beast” tour, carrying this new chapter directly onto the stage. The track’s immense weight and deliberate pacing translate into a live experience built on tension and command, setting the tone for a run that promises ritual intensity across the continent.

STREAM, GET IT HERE: https://belphegor.rpm.link/leviathanYT

Accompanying the single is a stark and uncompromising music video that captures the essence of true darkness. Gritty and raw in execution, the visual counterpart strips away artifice and embraces ritualistic imagery, shadow, and decay. It is not spectacle, but invocation.

With "Scarlet Beast – Leviathan", BELPHEGOR once again prove their mastery of controlled devastation. The beast does not rush. It advances. And nothing stands in its path.

HATE - Release "The Vanguard" third single!

HATE
COUNTRY: POLAND
GENRE: BLACK DEATH METAL

HATE - RELEASE TODAY "THE VANGUARD" THIRD NEW SINGLE!
[2025.05.02]

Slavic black/death metal titans HATE have released today the third new single and video for the song "The Vanguard" from their thirteenth album entitled "Bellum Regiis", out now via Metal Blade Records.

Watch "The Vanguard" video here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plUY6pBXm4o

Perun V. aka ATF Sinner comments:

"Hey Everybody! Our new album, BELLUM REGIIS, is with all of you as of today. It truly is a labor of dedication and not a single detail was glossed over in its making. We have not had such a large gap between albums since our second ever outing, 1998's Lord Is Avenger. This is because Bellum Regiis sits atop a wealth of ideas and was built to represent all of them. Both musically and lyrically. Both sonically and visually. From the first notes of the title track to the last stings of "Ageless Harp of Devilry" - nothing is there without thought and intent. With that in mind, when we saw the response of those close to us and the early reviews started flowing in, we were (and still are!) incredibly proud to see how strongly the album spoke for itself. So let's let it do just that. We will be back to discuss the inspirations, themes, and tracks in more depth, but for now - Thank you and hope you enjoy BELLUM REGIIS."

"
Bellum Regiis" Track Listing:
01.
Bellum Regiis
02. Iphigenia
03. The Vanguard
04. A Ghost of Lost Delight
05. Rite of Triglav
06. Perun Rising
07. Alfa Inferi Goddess of War
08. Prophet of Arkhen
09. Ageless Harp of Devilry

With a dozen ferocious and lauded albums since 1996′s Daemon Qui Fecit Terra, HATE's lucky thirteenth album, "Bellum Regiis", sees the unrelenting Polish quartet forging a bolder and more aggressive style than ever. "Bellum Regiis" nine songs see vocalist/guitarist ATF Sinner, guitarist Domin, drummer Nar-Sil, and bassist Tiermes honing a modern sound rife with eerie atmosphere and depth. Produced by David Castillo (Candlemass, Carcass, Dark Tranquillity, Katatonia) at Stockholm's Grondahl Studio, "Bellum Regiis" is lyrically a more "humanity focused and personal" album than 2021′s "Rugia" while its songs are timely aural and visual exploration of, according to the vocalist, "a struggle for power and everything that comes with it."

Hence the album title, which translates to "A War Of Royalty" or "A War Of Kings" The bands frontman looks at the hard questions surrounding power does its attainment make us aberrant or are we aberrant to begin with?

"Bellum Regiis" has been released on CD and digital formats as well as LP in the following color variants:
180g Black
Grey Marble
Silver Blackdust (Ltd. 300)
Gold Blackdust (Ltd. 200)
Black/White Splatter (US Exclusive Ltd. 350)

Formed in Warsaw in 1990, HATE has been hailed as a "hallmark of consistency" and praised as a "sleek and tight death metal monster." Since 2017′s Tremendum, the band has focused on nature and its mysteries as a main source of inspiration. As Sinner explains, "whether that"™s the nature within us, around us, or that we see from afar, the perspectives gained and how they relate to different overarching themes have driven each album." Where 2019′s "Auric Gates Of Veles" focused on death, the Slavic perception of death in particular, "Bellum Regiis" finds HATE delving into "humanity and why are we, as creatures, so deeply motivated by concepts like power, wealth, glory, and faith. The main theme is a struggle for power and everything that comes with it."

Fans may notice some commonality between "Erebos" and "Bellum Regiis" in the character of the compositions and overall sound, with "Bellum Regiis" being richer in style and with more black metal elements to it. "Between female vocals, orchestration, samples, and acoustic guitars, there are a lot of moving pieces that help set this album apart," notes Sinner. "My vocals have also changed quite a bit over the years. They"™re more nuanced and wider-ranging, able to portray emotions and meanings in a more powerful way."

Produced by David Castillo (Candlemass, Carcass, Dark Tranquillity, Katatonia) at Stockholm’s Grondahl Studio, Bellum Regiis is lyrically a more “humanity focused and personal” album than 2021's "Rugia" while its songs are timely aural and visual exploration of, according to the vocalist, “a struggle for power and everything that comes with it.”

Bellum Regiis roughly translates to “A War of Royalty” or “A War of Kings” and the title track encompasses the LP’s leitmotif. "As a song, "Bellum Regiis" has both a deep melancholy and a sense of grandeur," notes the frontman. "The vocals laid down by Eliza Sacharczuk [a renowned singer and voice teacher who runs a holistic arts center in Bialystok] give the song a strong sense of time. Whether that’s nostalgia, reminiscence, regret, or preparation for the future is in the eye of the beholder. These wars, these struggles, have been ongoing since the dawn of our existence. Whether they are futile or not, they are scars on our very nature. "Bellum Regiis" represents the whole album in the best way possible.”

MORE ABOUT HATE:

Forged in Warsaw in 1990, HATE has been hailed as a "hallmark of consistency," and praised as a "sleek and tight death metal monster." Since 2017's "Tremendum", the band has focused on nature and its mysteries as a main source of inspiration. As Sinner explains, "Whether that’s the nature within us, around us or that we see from afar, the perspectives gained and how they relate to different overarching themes have driven each album." For instance, 2019's "Auric Gates of Veles" focused on death, the Slavic perception of death in particular. Six years later, "Bellum Regiis" delves into "humanity and why are we, as creatures, so deeply motivated by concepts like power, wealth, glory and faith. The main theme is a struggle for power and everything that comes with it." Fans may notice some commonality between "Erebos" and "Bellum Regiis" in the character of the compositions and overall sound, with "Bellum Regiis" being richer in style and with more black-metal elements to it. "Between female vocals, orchestration, samples, acoustic guitars, there are a lot of moving pieces that help set this album apart," says Sinner. "My vocals have also changed quite a bit over the years. They’re more nuanced and wider-ranging, able to portray emotions and meanings in a more powerful way."

HATE - "Bellum Regiis" pre-orders and music video revealed!

HATE
COUNTRY: POLAND
GENRE: DEATH BLACK METAL

HATE - "BELLUM REGIIS" PRE-ORDERS AND MUSIC VIDEO REVEALED!
[2025.03.25]

Slavic black/death metal institution HATE will release their "Bellum Regiis" full-length on May 2nd on Metal Blade Records.

In advance of the release, today the band unveils their first single, "Iphigenia." Sinner elaborates, "in Greek mythology, Iphigenia was the daughter of King Agamemnon and Queen Clytemnestra, and a princess of Mycenae. The music came first in this case, but there was an immediate need to fill with content and the story of Iphigenia seemed to connect with it beautifully. It’s a story about sacrificing your life for a greater cause. But the example of Iphigenia is striking because she at one point is given a choice and can save her own life, yet she decides to be put to death and in this way help support the Greek side in the Trojan War. It’s a story of sacrifice which would, all the way since the days of Aeschylus and Euripides, divide an audience of listeners. Is it monstrous of her father to be willing to sacrifice her due to the pressure of his generals? To appease Artemis? Is it then heroic or brainwashed that she would sacrifice herself for her people’s cause?"

Hence the album title, which translates to “A War Of Royalty” or “A War Of Kings.” The band’s frontman looks at the hard questions surrounding power – does its attainment make us aberrant or are we aberrant to begin with? GAEREA - Releases "Coma" new music video!

GAEREA - RELEASES "COMA" MUSIC VIDEO!
[2024.11.13]

Extreme metal outfit GAEREA have just released their new music video for the title track "Coma" from their new album. "Coma" is already out via Season of Mist!

GAEREA are waking into a new era. The Portuguese masked sensations are no longer strictly a black metal band. With "Coma", they've surfaced to the top of extreme metal. Their critically acclaimed new album racked up more than 1 million streams within 24 hours of landing on Spotify.

"Coma, the quintet's fourth full-length, not only finds them sharpening their craft", FLOOD gushes, "but it also makes a strong claim as 2024's best metal record, regardless of subgenre".

To lay claim over their new domain, later this month, GAEREA are touring North America with Zeal & Ardor and Zetra. Today, the band are treating the vortex societies in the U.S. and Canada with a tantalizing glimpse of their striking live performance. The new video for "Coma" includes never-before-seen footage from this year's treks to China and Taiwan, though the title track off their new album also shows just how far GAEREA have come.

Though produced by their trusted confident Miguel Tereso, "Coma" broadens GAEREA's signature sound by taking it in two seemingly opposed directions. The title track is one of the heavier songs on the whole album. Concussive drum fills open the floodgates for a venomous groove that shakes its scales like a dragon. But its tortured screams and piercing melodies reveal a mysterious phantom pain.

"This is the song that explains the whole record, basically", the band's unnamed vocalist told Apple Music. "I was thinking about how to write a song about someone in a coma, but they're still conscious of it. Because if there's no consciousness, there won't be a song. So, this is a bit like waking up in a dark room and seeing the whole word around you, but you can't really figure out if it's reality, if it's memories, if it's your imagination, or just your lost dreams in life. It deals with that anxiety of trying to figure out if you're really here or not, or if this is the afterlife - and whatever the afterlife might look like".

Next year, GAEREA are taking Coma on their first headlining tour of Europe. Catch them in April in Germany, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
