Diabolical Black Death Metal troop BELPHEGOR will re-release their album "NECRODAEMON TERRORSATHAN" on November, 6th +digital only single on September, 18th
Twenty years after its first appearance the third studio album of the European black death metal force comes to new life as remastered version.

Helmuth states: "We originally composed this album 1998-1999, recording & releasing in 2000. Our Former guitarist Sigurd [1993-2006] who marched with me around the globe wrote three songs on this monster. Session drums were handled by Manfred Gandler [Mastuc Scum] and bass by Mario Klausner [Pungent Stench, Collapse VII]"

This digital-only single will be released 18th September, 2020 and the remastered album »NECRODAEMON TERRORSATHAN« 6th November [tracked, mixed and mastered by Boban Milunovic 1999-2000, Noise Art Studio in Wels, Austria].

Helmuth states: "20 years later and we´re still here, offering evil musick to the daemons. I planned to re-record an old track for a long time now and fukken Covid made it happen.
Also an honour to work again with Florian Klein, better known as “Torturer”, for his genius drum work on LP´s like »BONDAGE GOAT ZOMBIE«, »LUCIFER INCESTUS« & »GOATREICH FLESHCULT«. I also need to mention Andy Classen/ Stage One Studios for the soundwall, he also recorded, mixed & mastered »THE LAST SUPPER«, »BONDAGE GOAT ZOMBIE« & »PESTAPOKALYPSE VI«.
This was a thrilling experiment, to have the horde to listen to how 'NECRODAEMON TERRORSATHAN' would sound if we had created the track with our current skills and recording capabilities."

Poland's Melodic Black / Death Metal mavericks of DEVILISH IMPRESSIONS had to cancel their "Crows Over Albion Tour 2020" UK tour with Necronautical (Black Metal UK).

The Band comments: "Unfortunately the decision was made that our proposed UK tour for this Autumn with our mates in Necronautical cannot go ahead.
Necessary restrictions imposed due to the global pandemic and the uncertainty the global situation places us in simply make the logistical side of this run impossible for us at this time.
We are looking forward to joining forces with our friends in Necronautical and of course meeting once more with our fans and friends around the United Kingdom and beyond at some point in the future.
We would like to thank all involved for their understanding and support!"

Cathartic black metal outfit GAEREA are now streaming a guitar play-through for the track 'Conspiranoia' which is taken from their freshly released album 'Limbo'. The album was officially released upon the massess on July 24.

Portuguese sensation melodic death metal band MOONSHADE have announced the departure of their guitarist Daniel Laureano.

The band comments: "Daniel Laureano is no longer a member of Moonshade.

We deeply thank him for his service over the years as not only our guitarist, but also photographer and overall media overlord, as his many contributions will always be an essential part of this breathtaking adventure that has been Sun Dethroned, of which we are incredibly proud of, considering what we have achieved so far. We also wish Dani the best of luck for his project A Constant Storm, and invite you all, once again, to give it a listen!

As for Moonshade, we soldier on as a three-piece act for now, as the follow-up of Sun Dethroned is already on the pre-production stage. We also booked some amazing shows in 2021 so we can bring our new creation to the masses, "with a little help from our friends"!

Something rises in the bleak and blackened skies of society as we know it. Vortex community GAEREA are about to bestow their Undying Sigil to the masses, with their brand-new full length ‘Limbo’!

GAEREA is a black metal quintet from Portugal. Emerging in the beginning of 2016, the band released their first (self-titled) EP on November 11, 2016 through Everlasting Spew Records. The EP received many praises from the worldwide press, and it was not long before the first full length "Unsettling Whispers" (2018) was presented.

With that, GAEREA had the pleasure to perform and tour festivals in Europe and China, including performances with Jupiterian in April 2019 and a headlining Chinese tour in May 2019. The band already performed at festivals like SWR Barroselas Metalfest (PT), De Mortem et Diabolum (DE), Throne Fest (BE), Frantic Fest (IT), Eresia Metal Fest (IT), Amplifest (PT) and many more. During the fall of 2019, the band did an extensive tour with label mates NUMENOREAN under the Doomstar Bookings wing throughout Europe.

THE BAND AND THE NEW ALBUM:

Swedish death metal militia Demonical have returned with their sixth full-length album entitled "World Domination" that is in my opinion one of the best offers of it's genre for 2020. This album marks the return of the bands original drummer Ronnie Bergerstål (2006-2011, 2019-present) and the debut album with their vocalist Christofer Sätderdal who has done an remarkable work on this piece of old-school death metal art!
Demonical are already an institution of death metal over Swedish lands and not only, the band has unleashed old fashioned death metal since 2006, founded by members of the legendary band Centinex. Ever since they have been unleashing their ferocious Swedish HM-2 driven annihilation anthems on a vicious mix of addictive melodies, dark atmosphere and brutal sound, all of this in a top-quality malignant recipe!
Demonical has been discharging their aggressive death metal artillery in the past over several hundred shows all over Europe, North America, Brazil and  Russia. Demonical have take part of countless festivals and tours both as headline and support... in all, the band is a reference of excellence within their genre, I dare to say that Demonical are one of the best Swedish Death Metal bands out there, even knowing the concurrence is fierce and strong!
With "World Domination" Demonical rises with full-force and are ready conquer your ears with one of their best pieces ever, combining both new and old elements that forged the essence of the band sound!

ALBUM DETAILS:
"World Domination" follows the path from the band previous release "Chaos Manifesto" [2018 Agonia Records], yet with a renewed merciless formula, including extra dynamics as well as new enriching and addicting elements like the blend of other metal genres beyond the usual death metal definition, drinking inspiration from doom or heavy metal music among other metal genres and creating with it an enriching metal experience across the whole album length! The final result is one of the most vivid creations done by the band so far, the sound is organic and has a whole new energy on it, the sound of each creation of this new album breathes naturally and has an energetic vibe attached to it. The final result of the band sound has the genius touch of the award winning producer Karl Daniel Lidén (Bloodbath, Katatonia) at Tri-Lamb Studios, he was responsible once again for the mix and mastering! TRACK-BY-TRACK:
- "World Domination" shall make you travel back in time to the end of the 80's and start of the 90's metal music, a journey back to times of old-fashioned metal glory, this across eight scorching tracks of death and destruction. I must say I can't find a lesser great song on this whole piece, one death metal anthem after another... impressive how the band manages to keep the intensity levels at their peak, hooking the listeners to the whole album from the beginning to it's end.
- "My Kingdom Done" is the ravaging opening track and one of the best tracks on the album if you ask me, this is a fast and voracious song where "all hell breaks loose"! An intense typical death metal song with all the best Swedish old-fashioned vibe. The vicious melody shall keep you hooked at the very first listening! Impressive how Demonical keep on discharging such amazing sound and reinventing their own brutal music! Just like a raging storm, Demonical should be ruling your ears by now!
- "Hellfire Rain" is another merciless and typical death metal anthem, an amazing brutal and powerful track. Frenetic and addicting this song will make your head bang from the beginning to it's end, impossible to be indifferent to such ferocious fast track that is one of my favourites of the whole piece! Impressive to say the very least!
- "Aeons of Death" is another of my favourite tracks of this whole album, an authentic epic death metal monument! "Aeons of Death" is a slower but very strong track with a very own sinister and apocalyptic vibe, this time Demonical present a deeper and more epic version of their own sound! Watch as we all march towards our own end... the death of mankind is near!
- "The Thin Darkness" is another demolishing song, fast and brutal it devastates your ears with such sonic blast, but wait, Demonical have given a smashing doom metal oriented twist at the middle of this song that takes their sound dynamics to an absolute amazing level... yet never abandoning the band essential sound, revealing in this way that the band has allot to offer once it comes to extreme metal music diversity!
- "We Stand as One" follows and without losing even a bit of intensity the band invades your ears with another malignant first-raising piece of death metal. Sheer brutality towards your ears that will make your head bang without an end! "We stand as One, United as a Horde!"
- "Victorious" brings back that great epic vibe, this time in a more dominant way. A victorious march towards ancient glory! This is a slower track that gives once again an impressive balance to the whole album, keeping in this way the listeners captive to such enriching musical experience!
- "Slipping Apart" shall take you back in time, back to the 80's and those years of metal music glory! Can you imagine Demonical meeting up with DIO and creating a memorable metal ballad as if we where back on those heavy metal glory days? Well, Demonical still don't have the powers to resurrect the legendary Ronnie J. Dio, but the participation and vocals on this song by the guest musician Nils Patrik Johansson (Astral Doors, ex- Civil War, Calescent Punishment) are not lesser amazing than those of the metal icon himself. This track is a true "outsider" but for me it's one of the best and most addicting tracks of the whole album, I simply love the way they combined this traditional Heavy Metal ballad that sticks in your ears with their own death metal sound. A delightful mix of both worlds who never been so close... yet so very often apart!
- "Calescent Punishment" is the scorching ending track that finishes the album as it has started... a pure hell-fire Armageddon in a clear display that this is an old-school death metal piece of art, done by a band that is on top of what is being done in this genre. Demonical has given with this album a clear display that they have what it takes to dominate this world of death metal!

THE CONCLUSION:
"World Domination" consolidates Demonical as one of the best expressions of Swedish old-school death metal out there. This new album is a distinct proof of dominance over today's days death metal world! A sound amazingly brutal and melodic, able to bring you back to the old days of metal music glory with their old-fashioned creations! Demonical will always sound like Demonical, undoubtedly they are one of those bands that are true to their sound and I can only say that traditional Swedish death metal can't sound much better than this!
Demonical have all to rise triumphant upon this repetitive extreme metal world where death metal has become some sort of fashion, hard to find a band with notorious quality through the years able to reinvent their sound release after release, making each of their creations to sound fresh, fierce and grandiose! Demonical have all of that and much more, the older, the better, this in a clear mark of musical perseverance and dominance!
"World Domination" is in my opinion one of the best classic death metal albums I heard in years and by far the best album ever created by the band to the date! Intensive, aggressive and so damn addictive!
With all this said, I think that the band couldn't pick a better title for this amazing piece. "World Domination" is the perfect title for this amazing new album, just listen to it and witness Demonical taking this Metal World by storm! "World Domination" has all what it takes to be the best death metal album of this cursed 2020 year!

DEMONICAL BIOGRAPHY:

Demonical was spawned in March 2006 by former Centinex members Johan Jansson (guitars & vocals), Martin Schulman (bass) and Ronnie Bergerstål (drums) with a mission to return to the roots of death metal and deliver a sheer dose of darkness and brutality.

The first audio assault, a four-track promo attack entitled “Bloodspell Divine”, was recorded at Necromorbus Studios during July the same year. In November 2006, Demonical added vocalist Ludvig Engellau to the line-up (because Johan wanted to fully concentrate on the six-string axe) and signed a worldwide multi-album deal with the German label Cyclone Empire. The bands first full-length album, “Servants of The Unlight”, was recorded at both Black Lounge and Necromorbus Studios during January and February 2007 and released in April the same year. In November 2007 Temple of Darkness released a limited Demonical/Absu 7″ EP featuring one track from the “Bloodspell Divine” promo.

In December 2007 the band parted ways with vocalist Ludvig Engellau due to musical and personal reasons. Demonical continued for a few months with various session vocalists until late March 2008 when Sverker “Widda” Widgren came on board as the new fulltime frontman.

The bands second full-length album, “Hellsworn”, was recorded at Necromorbus Studios between December 2008 and February 2009 and released by Cyclone Empire in May 2009. A split 7″ EP called “Imperial Anthems Vol.1” with Paganizer was released by Cyclone Empire in early 2010. This limited vinyl featured an exclusive Demonical track recorded at the “Hellsworn” session.

In September 2010 Demonical once again entered Necromorbus Studios in order to record “Death Infernal”, their anticipated third full-length album. The album was recorded throughout the fall and released in Europe by Cyclone Empire (April 2011) and in north-America by Metal Blade (July 2011).

During the fall 2011 drummer Ronnie Bergerstål decided to leave the band due to scheduling conflicts and he was replaced by Fredrik Widigs.

After “Death Infernal” was released the band decided to add a second guitarist for live situations. A few session members were used at several tours until Daniel Gustavsson joined as a full-time member during the summer 2012.

The first half of 2013 was spent at both Necromorbus and Wing Studios in Stockholm with the recordings of the bands fourth album, “Darkness Unbound”. After the recording a line-up change took place with Johan Haglund replacing Johan Jansson and Ämir Batar replacing Fredrik Widigs. “Darkness Unbound” was released worldwide in November 2013.

A limited split 7”EP with Nunslaughter, entitled “European Deathcharge”, was released in July 2014 in support of both bands joint co-headlining tour.

In December 2014 Demonical both parted ways with drummer Ämir Batar and guitarist Daniel Gustavsson as well as inked a new worldwide deal with Agonia Records. The first release for their new label-home, a four track MCD entitled “Black Flesh Redemption”, was recorded at Wing Studios in early 2015 and released in April. The recording featured session members Eki Kumpulainen on guitar and Kennet Englund on drums.

In early 2017 the band parted with long time vocalist Sverker Widgren, due to time- and priority related matters, and replaced him with Alexander Högbom. At the same time guitarist Eki Kumpulainen and drummer Kennet Englund became permanent members of Demonical making the band a solid and stable unity ready for the things to come. During the fall 2017 Demonical recorded their fifth full-length album entitled “Chaos Manifesto” - together with the award-winning Swedish producer Karl Daniel Lidén - for a March 2018 release through Agonia Records.

In the summer 2019 both vocalist Alexander Högbom and drummer Kennet Englund decided to leave the band due to time- and motivation related issues once the touring cycle was finished.

June and July 2020 were spent with producer Karl Daniel Lidén for what was to become “World Domination”, the bands sixth full-length. The album will be released in October 2020 and marks the return of original drummer Ronnie Bergerstål and debut for new vocalist Christofer Säterdal.

Over the years Demonical have played several hundred shows all over Europe, Russia, North and South America. The band has done several tours, both as headline and support, and played tons of festivals, both small and huge ones, always delivering high quality brutality of finest kind.

"World Domination" was recorded in June 2020 at Glashuset and Sellnoise studios by Johan Hjelm and Jonas Arnberg, with production by DEMONICAL. DEMONICAL BIOGRAPHY:

Demonical was spawned in March 2006 by former Centinex members Johan Jansson (guitars & vocals), Martin Schulman (bass) and Ronnie Bergerstål (drums) with a mission to return to the roots of death metal and deliver a sheer dose of darkness and brutality.

The first audio assault, a four-track promo attack entitled “Bloodspell Divine”, was recorded at Necromorbus Studios during July the same year. In November 2006, Demonical added vocalist Ludvig Engellau to the line-up (because Johan wanted to fully concentrate on the six-string axe) and signed a worldwide multi-album deal with the German label Cyclone Empire. The bands first full-length album, “Servants of The Unlight”, was recorded at both Black Lounge and Necromorbus Studios during January and February 2007 and released in April the same year. In November 2007 Temple of Darkness released a limited Demonical/Absu 7″ EP featuring one track from the “Bloodspell Divine” promo.

In December 2007 the band parted ways with vocalist Ludvig Engellau due to musical and personal reasons. Demonical continued for a few months with various session vocalists until late March 2008 when Sverker “Widda” Widgren came on board as the new fulltime frontman.

The bands second full-length album, “Hellsworn”, was recorded at Necromorbus Studios between December 2008 and February 2009 and released by Cyclone Empire in May 2009. A split 7″ EP called “Imperial Anthems Vol.1” with Paganizer was released by Cyclone Empire in early 2010. This limited vinyl featured an exclusive Demonical track recorded at the “Hellsworn” session.

In September 2010 Demonical once again entered Necromorbus Studios in order to record “Death Infernal”, their anticipated third full-length album. The album was recorded throughout the fall and released in Europe by Cyclone Empire (April 2011) and in north-America by Metal Blade (July 2011).

During the fall 2011 drummer Ronnie Bergerstål decided to leave the band due to scheduling conflicts and he was replaced by Fredrik Widigs.

After “Death Infernal” was released the band decided to add a second guitarist for live situations. A few session members were used at several tours until Daniel Gustavsson joined as a full-time member during the summer 2012.

The first half of 2013 was spent at both Necromorbus and Wing Studios in Stockholm with the recordings of the bands fourth album, “Darkness Unbound”. After the recording a line-up change took place with Johan Haglund replacing Johan Jansson and Ämir Batar replacing Fredrik Widigs. “Darkness Unbound” was released worldwide in November 2013.

A limited split 7”EP with Nunslaughter, entitled “European Deathcharge”, was released in July 2014 in support of both bands joint co-headlining tour.

In December 2014 Demonical both parted ways with drummer Ämir Batar and guitarist Daniel Gustavsson as well as inked a new worldwide deal with Agonia Records. The first release for their new label-home, a four track MCD entitled “Black Flesh Redemption”, was recorded at Wing Studios in early 2015 and released in April. The recording featured session members Eki Kumpulainen on guitar and Kennet Englund on drums.

In early 2017 the band parted with long time vocalist Sverker Widgren, due to time- and priority related matters, and replaced him with Alexander Högbom. At the same time guitarist Eki Kumpulainen and drummer Kennet Englund became permanent members of Demonical making the band a solid and stable unity ready for the things to come. During the fall 2017 Demonical recorded their fifth full-length album entitled “Chaos Manifesto” - together with the award-winning Swedish producer Karl Daniel Lidén - for a March 2018 release through Agonia Records.

In the summer 2019 both vocalist Alexander Högbom and drummer Kennet Englund decided to leave the band due to time- and motivation related issues once the touring cycle was finished.

June and July 2020 were spent with producer Karl Daniel Lidén for what was to become “World Domination”, the bands sixth full-length. The album will be released in October 2020 and marks the return of original drummer Ronnie Bergerstål and debut for new vocalist Christofer Säterdal.

Over the years Demonical have played several hundred shows all over Europe, Russia, North and South America. The band has done several tours, both as headline and support, and played tons of festivals, both small and huge ones, always delivering high quality brutality of finest kind.
