BLACK ALTAR NEW LINEUP AND UPCOMING RELEASES!

After 14 years since the last line-up changes Black Metal demonical force BLACK ALTAR is no longer a one-man project. Shadow (bass, vocals) was joined by M.A. (guitar, vocals), E.R. (drums) - both from ONDSKAPT, and T.R. (guitar) from SPIRITS WAY. After successful split with BEASTCRAFT, new line-up has just started working on the new mini album "Nekromantic Revelations". The music on it will differ from the already know BLACK ALTAR’s style, it will be slower, more mystical and haunted. The material will be recorded by the end of this year/ beginning of 2019 in Sweden and released by Odium Records.

After the mini album is released a 7” split with Norwegian KIRKEBRANN will be unleashed as heavy picture disc.

Before the new mini album comes out, 2013’s mini album “Suicidal Salvation” will be re released on vinyl, digipak and limited wooden box with 3 tracks from the split with VARATHRON and THORNSPAWN as a bonus. There will also be reedition of a debut album "Black Altar" with new mastering and artwork.

UNLEASH NEW PRE-PRODUCTION TRACK "PATH TO ARKHEN"!

Polish extreme metallers HATE have just unleashed a rough mix of a new song "Path To Arkhen" taken from pre-production session, which took place between February and April 2018 at JNS Studio.

HATE frontman commented:
"This is a new dawn of a sincerely empowering and galvanising journey to be on. We are currently in the middle of the writing process, but as I promised (here and elsewhere), we are sharing this piece in its initial form: ”Path To Arkhen.” Arkhen being a version of the last bastion of Slavic Paganism, Arkona. (...) We are planning to enter the studio by the end of this year, with the new record fully written in hand for a tentative early 2019 release. Thematically, it builds further upon the themes of our previous album, “Tremendum,” exploring the darker and more malevolent sides of archaic Slavic ritualism. This new opus will explore these themes further, more profoundly, detailing with our own confrontations with this gone, but not forgotten world. Both in form and in sound."

Swedish death black metallers DIABOLICAL are looking for a live drummer to fill in for Pär on our shows from the second half of 2017 and onwards, as he will be unable to travel for some time due to private reasons. To be clear: Pär is not leaving the band and his work with the band upcoming album is above all expectations.

DIABOLICAL are looking for someone with great musical skills who has touring experience, is comfortable playing to programmed click tracks, able to attend rehearsals regularly, able handle basic tech (pads etc.), flexible and a quick learner.

The band is located in Stockholm, Sweden. We will be considering all applications but it's obviously a plus if you are not located on the other side of the planet.

No criminal record that can cause problems applying for visas (you need to be able to travel also outside Europe, incl. USA, Japan etc.).

Please write the band with as much information about yourself as possible; musical background as well as goals and visions with your music. Videos of you playing is appreciated, preferably recent videos that are representative of your level and style as a drummer.

Swedish symphonic extreme metal masters Zornheym have finished their monumental debut album and are ready to unleash it upon the world! On the 15th of September, via Non Serviam Records (Season of Mist), they will invite you to step onto the grounds of Zornheim; Asylum for the Criminally Insane, and experience “Where Hatred Dwells and Darkness Reigns”. Together with Dies Iona Ensembly and Zornheym’s own bombastic “Chorus Tenebris” choir, they have created the perfect soundtrack to your submission into the Asylum's care.

With magnificent visual artistry in the form of cover art by Pedro Sena - Lordigan and a concept expanding graphic novel illustrated by Art by Bring; with every chapter telling more of the gruesome tales behind each song.

“This is the first chapter in the history of Zornheym and we are so very proud of the outcome. The performance of everyone involved has been amazing. To use so many real instruments from day one feels like such an accomplishment. This is just the beginning!” states Zornheym’s guitarist, Zorn.

“It was a great pleasure to take part in the journey of the creation of this record. To have Zornheym here in the studio with the ambition to make an album that is so much more than an ordinary metal album made me very excited to produce this recording from day one.
