In june 3rd the band released this news:"Update regarding the new
album.
A few weeks ago Tatu finalized the drum recordings, and the result was
great.

BELPHEGOR new album "The Devils" scheduled to be
released on the 29th of July 2022 via Nuclear Blast Records
has beenMixed & mastered at
renowned Fascination Street Studios by Jens Bogren (Kreator, Dimmu Borgir, At
The Gates).
Helmuth states: “We have once again changed our formula and worked
with another production team for »THE DEVILS«. So we remained thrilled and it
was a challenge. To compose, rehearse and record »THE DEVILS« was a great
journey, as always. Drums have been recorded by David Diepold and engineered by
Randy Castillo. Serpenth and I did the mixing down and mastering with producer
Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studio in Örebro/ Sweden. Jens forged us a
brilliant and massive soundwall. All sounds exactly as we wanted to in 2022.”

and the title track itself. "THE DEVILS" is by far our most diverse and
dynamic record in
BELPHEGORhistory.
We composed, rehearsed, and recorded the album with two different tunings again
[Drop A# and A], a lot of extra work for bass and guitar, different strings/ set
ups etc, but in the end it was all worth it. This project was a thrilling and
challenging experiment, a magickal journey into the abyss. All our inspiration
flew in this twelfth full length beast and it sounds exactly as we wanted it to
