BERZERKER
LEGION is a 5-member coalition of death metal veterans from the European
continent, formed in 2016 by guitarists Tomas Elofsson (Hypocrisy) and
Alwin Zuur (Asphyx).
With a vision to create death metal of the highest quality they recruited a
line-up of solid well-known musicians consisting of James Stewart (Vader)
on drums, Jonny Pettersson (Wombbath) on vocals and Fredrik Isaksson (Dark
Funeral) on bass to complete the Legion. And with decades of combined
experience in both the studio as well as live performances, BERZERKER
LEGION is ready to create and spread some top-quality death metal around
the world.
Expect a diverse death metal style with a mix of thrilling melodies, epic
harmonies and brutal, massive pounding guitar rhythms, overwhelming drums and
wide range vocals executed by this international metal militia from Sweden,

Yesterday Zorn and Bendler had another session, working on vocal
arrangements. In December Bendler will head back to Wing Studios
to lay down more vocal tracks, Bendler nailed already the main vocals to
2 1/2 songs!

APOTHEUS.
"The Dethroning Stars Tour is now in the books - a grand total of 7
shows across the Iberian Peninsula, a whole lot of miles on the road accompanied
by long nights of intense celebration.
We would like to thank our brothers from Apotheus for all the friendship
and comradery during the time we spent together, through thick and thin. As
roadmates, we forged a bond that will never be erased.
We would also like to show our eternal appreciation to every single fan that
came to see us play, bought a piece of merch, and/or stuck around to talk to us
after each show. As always, your unending support for this project leaves us
speechless.
This picture represents one of the most iconic moments of communion between
musicians and fans during this iberian incursion. Here, we are accompanied by
our friend Alberto Angular, after he granted us the pleasure of inviting

Swedish old-school death metal tyrants
DEMONICAL and vocalist Alexander Högbom have parted ways without
involvement of neither deep drama nor bad blood.
The band comments:
"This has been in the making for quite some time - even if not publically
revealed - as already five months ago Alexander informed the rest of us
about his need to step back after Scandinavia Deathfest 2019 in order to
focus on other things in life.
We respect Alex's decision, want to thank him for all the years in the
band, and wish him the very best of luck for the future, whatever it might hold.
As death stands for marching on, we would like to hereby welcome Christofer
Säterdal to the ranks as our new frontman! Chris has proven his quality and dedication in various bands during the
years - with Swedish viking-metallers Fimbultyr being the most prominent
one - and the rehearsals and recordings done during the summer have made us
confident that he is the right one to carry on the torch.
Our live-debut featuring the new line-up will happen at Club Nalen in
Stockholm on November 14 before we head out on the “Brazil Ablaze tour”,
starting December 5 in Manaus (AM)."
A follow up to the highly praised “Chaos Manifesto” album will be
recorded during the winter for an early summer 2020 release through Agonia Records.

2001 : I Am Nothing But A Cry In A Chaotic Torment Mutill (guitars) and Malaria (bass) decided to create a Metal band
with their most extreme influences : Morbid Angel, Immortal, Lord Belial,
Dissection, etc.
2002 : I Become Flesh Yamaël (drums) joined the band, followed by Zig (screams) a few
time later. The band choose the name ‘Nirnaeth’ for its epic and poetic
dimensions : ‘Nirnaeth Arnoediad’ is the name of a battle in Tolkien’s
universe and means ‘eternal tears’.
2004 : Nothing But Ashes
After some first gigs 'Nothing But Ashes' emerged. This self produced
demo contains 4 titles which already carry with them what characterizes the
music of Nirnaeth : an organic structure articulated around devastating
riffs with dark melodies and themes dealing with pain and madness.
2006 : May Their Martyrs Suffer Once And For All ‘Thrown Athwart The Darkness’ has been released on label Great Dane
Records. Recorded at Midnight Studio, this first album exposed the
horde to the extreme metal scene. The album title was taken from a poem by
Percy Bysshe Shelley.
2008 : The Horns Resound Laboga Amps endorsed Mutill, alongside musicians from bands like
Motorhead, Behemoth, Annihilator, Hate Eternal, etc.
2009 : It Lieth, Gazing On Midnight’s Sky ‘Splendour Of The Abyss’ was released on label Great Dane Records.
Recorded once more at Midnight Studio, this album met very good reviews
and allowed the band to multiply gigs.
2015 : Fire Gave Me A New Face Vagorn replaced Yamaël on drums. The year ended with a
participation at the second edition of the Gohelle Fest (Obituary, Rotting
Christ, ...).
2016 : None Can Control It
The label Kaotoxin released 'Dramatis Personae', a split 7"EP with
bands Azziard and Nirnaeth. A video clip produced by
BullDogProd has been made for 'Nihil In Me'.
2017 : None Can Possess It Marbas joined the band as second guitar player, allowing the band to
explore new ways of creation. The third album, entitled 'From Shadow To Flesh',
was produced in 3 studios : drums were recorded at Psykron studio by
Phil Reinhalter, guitars and screams at Aeternal Studio by Mutill and
finally mixing and mastering were done by Deha at Forbidden
Frequencies Studio.
2018 : From Shadow To Flesh
A deal is signed with Malpermesita Records. 'From Shadow To Flesh' will
be released in september 7th 2018. It's a concept album dealing with possession,
from 2 perspectives. Cover was made by Above Chaos. First 500 copies are
limited hand numbered digipack.
