SUSPERIA NEWS UPDATE!

Norwegian blackened thrash/heavy metallers SUSPERIA have parted ways with founding bassist Memnock and singer Dagon. The decision was made last week. The band wishes them both good luck on other projects as in life in general.

Cyrus founding guitarist comments: “Sometimes it is better to go separate ways to regain inspiration, future progression and expectations on a same level. SUSPERIA is very much alive when it comes to writing new songs and will still make the musical landscape we always have done. That being said, we are not focused on live shows unless there is something we find interesting”.

Next up will be the show in Larvik at the SPETAKKEL FESTIVAL and Athera will be back once more on stage with SUSPERIA. The band are also happy to welcome Lars Fredriksen on bass guitar for this show, which we are very excited about.

Athera founding singer comments: "So I guess the cat's out of the bag.. It's been almost 5 years since my departure from my beloved band that I've played in for half my life. Thanks to Bernt Fjellestad for carrying the torch for a while.
I will return to the stage tomorrow at the Spetakkel Festival in Larvik, Norway. Been doing rehearsals for 3 weeks now, with constant goosebumps. The band has never sounded better if you ask me. Looking forward to tear down the stage tomorrow during our headliner spot, hope to see you there!
It's been too long... Feels good to be back."
