Zornheym, Swedish symphonic extreme metal warriors have finished last
week all the main vocals at
Wing Studios!
Next step is to get the string orchestra finished on the last two songs and
record the choir parts on all tracks.

Zornheym - Swedish symphonic black death metal warriors are finally in
pre-production with the vocals! Next month the band will enter
Wing Studios
to nail it down on tape. Things are progressing and there's happing a lot of
stuff "behind the scene".

BIOGRAPHY:
Zornheym is a new symphonic extreme metal band from Stockholm. The
band may be new, however the members are weathered veterans in the scene with
tons of experience.
They have fused together great story telling with a cinematic approach spiced up
with urban legends and actual authentic horror stories. Finding inspiration from
bands like Dissection, Dimmu Borgir, King Diamond, Marduk and Satyricon,
the music is guitar based and backed up by a real string orchestra and choir!
You're gonna be in for a hell of ride when entering their domain!
Right now the band is recording in the Wings studio in Stockholm,
working hard to record their first batch of songs and are very eager to reveal
their symphonies to the world.

ZORNHEYM JOINS FORCES WITH NEKRONOS PROMOTION! [2015.07.06] Nekronos

Zornheym - Swedish symphonic black death metal band. This is a damn
promising new band eager to set the extreme metal world in flames with their
epic dark creations! Be sure to keep a close eye on this band, highly

Rui Gonçalves (RüPä), founder of this non-profit metal support
agency comments: "We are honoured to announce our cooperation with our long time friend
Zornheym and his new work. Since 2007 I've been a close friend to
Zornheym, at the time he was playing with Devian (blackened thrash
death metal band). Those where great metal supporting years, through those times
I've checked a countless number of his creations, in and outside metal! I can
only say I was blown away with his creative mind as well as natural born musical
talent and skills! I just can't wait to listen to his debut under the name of
Zornheym, I am sure it shall be one of his most grandiose creations of all
times!
Zornheym comments on this news: "Today I would like to welcome
one more critical parter to my team. Ladies and gents I have found my promotion
team! NEKRONOS! I use to work with Rui way back in the day when he
supported us in Devian and the results back then were phenomenal!!! Gonna

Zornheym is from Finspång, a small southern town in Sweden. Finspang
comes wih a great musical legacy that was a center for black metal in the early
90's. After being entranced by artists and bands such as Yngwie Malmsteen,
King Diamond, Slash, Twisted Sister and Iron Maiden, Zorneym picked up the
guitar at the mere age of 12. He knew from that age on that music would be his
calling. At the age of 16 the urge to play guitar after hearing ”Magnum Opus”
with Yngwie J. Malmsteen became an obsession that ended up with
practice session that lasted for 12 hours a day. At that time he also started
buying a lot of different instructional VHS with his favourite guitar players.
In early 2000 he formed Suicidal Seduction that gained some underground
reputation in Sweden and that released two Eps. By this time Zornheym
composed all guitar and bass lines, even though he played lead guitar. He had
become very interested in studying how to compose a song from every possible
angle and to pull it all together as a solid unit.
In 2004 he discovered crust and immediately formed Aktiv Dödshjälp. As
the sole composer he handled both the guitar and bass duties. After various line
up changes the band is now complete with their singer Roberth Karlsson
(current singer for Scar Symetry)
In mid 2006 Emil Dragutinovic (ex-Marduk, ex-The Legion, ex-Devian)
offered Zornheym to join forces with him and Legion (ex-Ophthalamia,
ex-Marduk, ex-Witchery, ex-Devian) in their brand new band DEVIAN as
their new bass player. The debut album ”Ninewinged Serpent” was already
written, even though he played a big role with producing the vocals. During the
recording process one of the guitar players left the band, that recently had
signed a deal with CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS, the spot was offered to
Zornheym instantly. On the their first tour, 8 weeks with Vader and
SepticFlesh, Zornheym learned a lot about how to become a great stage
presence. He was addicted to giving the crowd and fans their moneys worth.
Together with Legion he would fire up the crowd every night. For the
second album, "God to the Illfated” he composed a great deal of songs and
arranged and produced a lot. After a few more tours the band was put to sleep
soon after Legion's departure from the band in 2010.
In early 2011 Zornheym saw that DARK FUNERAL were looking for a
new bass player which caught Zornyem's eye. After a few meetings with
band leader Ahriman and Chaq Mol, Zornheym was offered the
position as the band's new bass player. Together with them he has raised hell on
some of the biggest stages around the world. Together they have toured
Europe, North- Central and South America, Asia and Australia.
Zornheym debut, and yet untitled album drum recordings are done!
Everything is going according to the plan at Wing Studios.
This week the band will start tracking guitars. Yesterday
Zornheym got all the pre work done in his guitars and bass by the
talented Alan McCahey in Stockholm.
Zornheymwill be using his
Deathbucker pickups, from Lace Pickups
on an album for the first time!

DIABOLICAL PREMIERES 'ORACLE' VIDEO WITH TERRORIZER! [2014.04.08] Today, Swedish death metal masters
DIABOLICAL premiere their new video ‘Oracle’ exclusively with
Terrorizer.
Guitarist Carl Stjärnlöv comments, "The concept of the ‘Oracle’
song and the Oracle chapter of the Book of Neogenesis is very
special. It has a deep meaning to the concept of Neogenesis and it
represents a turning point in the story of the protagonist. The chapter and the
song take place in a mystical place full of symbolism and we wanted to stay true
to the arcane nature of the song in its visual representation. We filmed in
several countries and have put a lot of effort into making this a very pleasant
visual experience which we hope you will appreciate."
‘Neogenesis’ is the latest record from

new videoclip for the track "Oracle" from their outstanding new album
"Neogenesis". This videoclip will be unleashed just before the band starts

"METAMORPHOSIS" VIDEO RELEASED! [2013.09.15] Swedish death metal masters Diabolical have
released the official video for the track “Metamorphosis”, which is taken
from the upcoming album “Neogenesis”. “Neogenesis” is a concept album uniting eleven tracks with an eleven
chapter post-apocalyptic novel and will be made available as a exclusive limited
first edition Mediabook.
Vocalist and guitarist Sverker comments: "We wanted this video to have
a close symbolic connection to the philosophy and concept of 'Neogenesis'.
The theme of this particular chapter of the novel is reflected in the
transformation you see in the video. Superficially something monstrous is
transformed into something beautiful which represents a metamorphosis of
something much more profound. Those who hear the album and read the book will
understand."
