Trollfest, Misþyrming and Nadra join the already confirmed Exodus, Orphaned Land and Mão Morta

To start the year in good shape for the six months we'll have to wait until SMSF 2017, we present you with an announcement totally focused on heavy weights:
with Orphaned Land, Exodus and Mão Morta already headlining, the festival that proposes to treat extreme music in its peculiar way, absorving the darkest spectres of punk, metal and even hip-hop, and of folk and rock; now confirms
five more names for its billing.

The main news here is Trollfest, with their characteristic folk metal that will put a smile on everyone's face. The result of their success can be proven by their 15 years of activity, and the band will grow even bigger once they release their new album in February, called "Helluva".

From Iceland, two of the best black metal acts of the current days will travel to SMSF. Misþyrming come in full force, alongside their comrades Nadra.

To close the confirmations, we will also have Ranger from Finland, a band blessed by the gods of Speed Metal, and also influenced by the oldest school of Thrash, and Rancor, pure thrashers from Spain.

SMSF
2017 happens on last year's Parque de Merendas in the city of Beja, Southern Portugal, from the days of 8 until 10 of June, and the first ticket sale of €20 for 100 3-day passes is already sold out. Until January 31st, the pass costs
€30, and a special pack is also available for purchase, with t-shirt, tote bag and official festival cup for only €40. After this day, the 3-day pass will raise its price to €40, and the special pack will be taken out from sales.

A organização do Santa Maria Summer Fest tem o prazer de vos convidar a assistir a Psychonaut 4 e Nocturnal Depression no dia 2 de Abril no Cave 45 (Porto). Com convidados e outras surpresas ainda a anunciar, poderá vir a ser apenas um de vários eventos de warm-up que que se devem realizar de norte a sul do país, estando dependentes de várias tournées. Estejam atentos que em breve a organização terá muitas novidades.

O preço dos bilhetes para esta noite especial é de 15€ em pré-reserva e 18€ à porta. Estes são limitados, podendo ser adquiridos através do e-mail smsftickets@gmail.com (pagamento por transferência bancária ou PayPal).

Psychonaut 4 são uma banda de depressive black metal originária da Georgia, uma antiga républica soviética. Com “Neurosthenia”, o seu mais recente trabalho lançado no passado mês de Outubro prometem-nos uma noite carregada de emoções fortes capazes de nos arrastar até aos mais sorumbáticos recantos da nossa alma.

A acompanhar teremos os Nocturnal Depression, mais uma das pérolas produzidas pela escola francesa de black metal da última década. Com uma extensa e aclamada discografia, estes irão descender sobre nós em toda a sua negritude com “Spleen Black Metal” na bagagem, um álbum lançado o ano passado e que não deixou ninguém indiferente.

Os convidados especiais de abertura de uma noite que se adivinha memorável serão revelados em breve.

[ENG] Dear SMSF fans, we are proud to announce our first 5 artists - ORPHANED LAND, WOLFBRIGADE, HYPOTHERMIA, FUSE and PROCESS OF GUILT. We're building up the best SMSF we've had up until now, and we hope you will enjoy the final billing.

This poster's design was made by Ana Rodrigues from Workhouse, a freelance designer from Beja. It was designed to reflect the variety of artistsperforming on the festival, in order to broaden its horizons to a larger audience.

We are now starting a pre-sale of 100 early-bird 3-day passes / special packs that are available for €20 (3-day pass) and €30 (special pack that includes t-shirt, bag, cup and 3-day pass).
This pre-sale takes place until the end of October.

To order, you have to send an e-mail to smsftickets@gmail.com  with the following info:

A equipa do SMSF orgulhosamente anuncia que a máquina de death metal que tem por nome Sinister regressará a Portugal para encabeçar uma das noites da próxima edição. Confirmados estão também os Mata-Ratos, que regressam após o ínfame concerto da edição de 2012, os Harakiri for the Sky, Austríacos que dominam as lides do post-black metal, ATILA, mestre da electrónica negra e criador de um dos melhores álbuns nacionais lançados no ano passado, e os Portugueses Trepid Elucidation, munidos do seu death técnico.
