Black Metal legends BLACK ALTAR have finished their "Necromantic Rites" Latin America Mini-Tour.

Shadow, the founder of BLACK ALTAR comments: "Our South American “Necromantic Rites” Tour is done! What can we say? For sure privately it was the best time of our lives. As the band, it was a huge promotional success for Black Altar. Probably there aren’t black metal fans in the countries where we played who didn’t hear about Black Altar now. We read amazing comments and reviews about our gigs, that there were one of the best gigs in recent years in some cities. Most of the merchandise was sold after the second concert.

We met amazing people, new friends, posed for thousands of photos and received many gifts. In short, everything was awesome and there are already some plans to back there within 2 years.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to Nelson Varela and his Colombian Shows (Rock/Metal Show), Mario and others, also Vargas and Edgar Kerval in Cali, Adolf Woc and his WOC Booking Agency in Chile. Finally, the last but not least, to Luiz, Maria and their lovely daughter Ana Brunner from Necropole Hall+ Fellipe for their amazing hospitality in Brazil and for treating us as a family.
 
The entire experience was nothing short of phenomenal. They did an excellent job in every aspect, ensuring smooth operations at every venue. The venues themselves were fantastic, providing an incredible atmosphere for our performances.
Moreover, the audiences in each country were truly exceptional, showing us overwhelming support and energy at every show. Total fanatics devoted to Black Metal and black arts.

We cannot express enough how grateful we are for this once-in-a-lifetime experience. It was a journey that we will cherish forever. Thank you to everyone involved for making this tour such a memorable and successful one for Black Altar!

Black Metal legends BLACK ALTAR are part of Odium Records 25th anniversary compilation entitled "25 Years Devoted to Devil's Music [1998-2023]"!

This year marks 25 years since the first release of Odium Records which was originally founded to release BLACK ALTAR materials.

For this occasion, the label will release a Free sampler CD with 15 bands. The first part - 5,000 copies are already pressing and will be added to several magazines and individual orders in selected distributions.
The sampler will also be available soon on Bandcamp and most digital platforms.

It is a very special Opus dedicated to the untold Mysteries of the Draconian Path, consisting of X new anthems of Orthodox Black Metal, lasting approximately 55 minutes. Thus, severing every tie the participants have set until forth, to form a deified monstrosity of terrors as well as an offering to the Victory of the Draconian Ways, above, beyond and astride Life and Death, a journey within theurgy and deification alike begins.

Black Metal legends BLACK ALTAR have played their first live ritual ever at Darkness over Cumbria Fest in the UK!

The band comments: "Finally, after 27 years of rejecting offers, we played the first ever gig of Black Altar at Darkness over Cumbria Fest and we killed it!

We played well and feedback from the audience was excellent. Unfortunately due to the previous band’s technical problems, the stage manager stopped our set and we couldn’t play the last 2 songs. We played 8 songs in total and the last one was Burzum "Jesus Dod" cover, people went crazy when they heard it. It was a night to remember!

To sum up, our debut was for us a big success, we had great feedback, after the gig people started storming our mech stand. Many people told us that for them it was the best performance at this festival. True or not, each next concert should be better. Finally, we have great line up and together we can conquer many territories. Thank you to the organizers and to the audience for supporting us and see you next time! Soon, we will post more photos and some videos."
