Black Death Metal commando BELPHEGOR has started composing new material for their twelfth full-length studio album that is due to be released in Summer 2020 via Nuclear Blast.

Swedish old-school death metal tyrants DEMONICAL had to cancel the upcoming UK Tour!

The band comments: "Our three upcoming shows in England in September have all been cancelled! The one to blame is purely and solely the promoter, Gavin Davies and his Eradication Agency, who has been unable to fulfill the contract and stick to what has been agreed.

On top of this, Gavin has shown a utterly unprofessional behavior with not answering e-mails and keeping our agent informed. Not until the tone raised Gavin showed some balls, crawled to the cross and admitted he has failed big time (once again)!

We are sorry for this and those who wanted to witness our HM-2 Stockholm style madness. We might play the UK sometime in the future if some good reliable promoter books us. If not, your loss.

Polish melodic black / death metal commando DEVILISH IMPRESSIONS have revealed their new single “Cingvlvm Diaboli”, the second single taken from the follow up to their critically acclaimed 4th studio record “The I”.
The upcoming EP "Postmortem Whispering Crows" to be released on September 13th 2019 via Non Serviam Records.

DEVILISH IMPRESSIONS’ frontman Quazarre comments:

Music wise "Postmortem Whispering Crows" simply continues where “The I” left off. Having introduced some rock-like solos on the latest full-length these unreleased tracks seem to be characterized by even more open approach to the genre. "Postmortem Whispering Crows" is an epic journey across black death metal with the band's own, unique flare to it.

"At the ending part of the song we're quoting 'Symfonia Jesienna' (An Autumn Symphony) by Maryla Wolska, an author associated with The Young Poland (a modernist period in Polish literature, covering roughly the years between 1890 and 1918). The movement promoted trends of decadence, an end of all culture, the conflict between humans and their civilization, and the concept of art as the highest value”, continues Quazarre.

BIOGRAPHY:

In 2010, guitarist Pedro Quelhas and drummer Cristiano Brito left gothic rock band Deep Cut, determined to venture into a new project. Soon after, they joined forces with guitarist Dinis Martins, bassist Rúben Oliveira and lead singer Ricardo Pereira, and founded Moonshade.

Influenced at first by northern Europe’s recent wave of melodic death metal bands, and with a clear goal of combining melodic and extreme elements, they released “The Path Of Redemption”, their first EP, which came out solely in digital format and was produced by Pedro Quelhas himself. After a few concerts, came the first lineup changes: Cristiano and Rúben left the band and bassist Afonso Aguiar joined the ranks.

In 2014, the band released their second EP, entitled “Dream | Oblivion” – their first work to be released in physical form. The album, which featured Luís Neto as a session drummer, was also produced by Pedro Quelhas, and its release was accompanied by the release of the “Goddess Eternal” single, as well as the addition of drummer Sandro Rodrigues to the lineup. In 2015, guitarist Daniel Laureano and keyboard player Nuno Barbosa joined the band, marking the dawn of a new era for Moonshade, who spent the next couple of years performing on some of Portugal’s biggest stages, such as Vagos Open Air, Pax Julia Metal Fest and Morbid Spring Fest, among others.

At the tail end of 2017, Afonso left the band and keyboardist Nuno became the band’s new bass player, a function he accumulated with his former one. This lineup recorded the “Sun Dethroned” album, the band’s debut full length. The record, a conceptual piece exploring the balance between good and evil, and its necessity in life, was released by Spanish label Art Gates Records, in 2018.

After a string of successful shows and Sandro’s departure, the band announced their first international shows, as part of the Dethroning Stars Tour, alongside fellow northern Portuguese band Apotheus, and featuring Diogo Mota as a live drummer.

Already peeking at their tenth anniversary, Moonshade are more alive than ever, in their constant aim to musically redefine the beauty within chaos, death and despair

SKINNING REVEAL TITLE TRACK FROM THE NEW ALBUM "HOMICIDAL EXPERIMENTATIONS"!

Portuguese deviant Death Metallers SKINNING have finished their third work entitled "Homicidal Experimentations". With the departure of their former bass player, the new album was recorded by the founding duo that always where part of the band formation, Luis Barroso on drums and Vitor Lopes on guitar, bass and vocals. Live, as guest bass player, the band will have no other but Zé Pedro known from bands such as Holocausto Canibal, Grunt and Dementia 13, among others.

The new album is constituted by 9 tracks and it was recorded at Hanuman Studio with the production from Bruno Silva, bass player in Heavenwood. The new album, words from the band is "more fast, more brutal, more gore". Many of this album songs can be heard on the 2nd of November at the Oeste Underground Fest (Malveira - Portugal), the only booked show for the band so far.
