have just announced the departure of their singer Athera, the band commented as
it follows:
"As you all know, Athera has left the band. We are still brothers and
very good friends.
We wish him all the best in the future.
The new Susperia album is almost done and we have to say that we are very
exiting about the new album. It gives us goose bumps when listening through all
the songs. It's going to be raw as fuck!
This album will be a mix between Predominance and Unlimited, and
for the first time in many years we feel that the music is back to where it
should be.
New vocalist will be official after trying out a few hand picked singers."Susperia
The departing singer Athera has commented the day before:
"Ladies and gentlemen. I bid you farewell. At least for a good while.
Considering my health situation and lack of progress contributing anything to my
beloved band the last few years I have decided to pull myself out of the mix and
let the guys continue on without me. We remain the best of friends and this is
not a breakup due to any bad circumstances. It's simply me realizing I cannot
deliver what you as fans and the band expects of me anymore. And I do not want
to hold this brilliant band back anymore. They deserve better and you guys
deserve to hear more new music. It is with regret and sadness I now do this, but
trust me, it is the best for all parties involved. I am left with a strange
feeling. Susperia has been with me for almost half my life and it is my
family. So this hurts. But for me staying in the band any further would hurt you
guys and the band even more. I don't know what will happen in the future, if
they will get a new inspired vocalist or if Memnock will do the vocals (I
vote YEAH!!) But something good will come of this in the form of a new album, or
maybe even two! Maybe I'll pull the Bruce Dickinson/Rob Halford and make a
return one day to the band. But for now I am out guys. I thank you so much for
all the support through the years. From the bottom of my broken heart. Sorry
we've been away for so long. Susperia will be back. One way or another.

Germany, 1486: The Dominican inquisitors Kramer and Sprenger publish "MALLEUS
MALEFICARUM" "The Hammer of the Witches", the most important book on the
Headhunt and execution of witches and heretics in medieval Europe. The book
features detailed information on how to recognize, judge and execute the
witches. MALLEUS MALEFICARUM was approved by the Catholic Church in the year of
1487.
Norway, 1986: Five guys from the Sarpsborg area in southeast Norway get together
to form Withchammer, playing compromiseless thrashy HM with melodic
overtones and drawing inspiration to many of their lyrical concepts from the
MALLEUS MALEFICARUM, from which the name also is derived. Only this time,
the hammer is here to stay... With the classic release of 1487 (vinyl now

Impressions album. The session itself has been

that it has absolutely put me through the hoops. But... it was to be, wasn't it?
After all, it's the record of my life so far! smile emoticon I hereby would like
thank Piotr Polak for his outstanding help and mutual inspiration as well

Piotr Polak from Dobra 12 Studiocomments on working with Icanraz and on how hard they both tried to
find possibly the most suitable sound for
DEVILISH
IMPRESSIONS upcoming 4th full-length album: "Several weeks before the recording session started I've literally been
swamped with tons of Icanraz' questions concerning my work methods,
ability to achieve a natural, acoustic sound of drums, questions concerning the
choice of equipment, drumheads etc. The problem was that a vision for this
particular instrument within the album hadn't been precised at that point. I
think I even felt some sort of consternation due to a number of possibilities
that eventually turned as large as our mutual music inspirations. Luckily enough,
we've had the opportunity to test it all ahead of the session, I mean the
drumkit, drumheads and the recording room itself, and this had actually made
further work a lot easier. So much for an easy-peasy sort of stuff... All the
rest was really hard work, blisters on Icanraz' hands and his blood
spluttered on the drumheads smile emoticon However, what really caught me off
guard was how much open-minded he was for all kinds of ideas and suggestions.
You could notice straight away that he didn't come in just to lay down the
tracks for his instrument. On the contrary, he wanted the new material to sound
fresh, open and 'breathing' differently from other things being produced
nowadays. One thing is clear - low-tuned guitars shall be backed up with a
really powerful and a bit old-school, low-sounding rhythm base. Myself, I can't
wait for the final version."

BALFOR are finally finished with recording and mixing of our new album.
Whole process took much more time then we planned, but the result sounds fucking
awesome. All the songs are very epic, massive and atmospheric, that puts our
music on a new level.
Album been recorded at More Music Studio and mixed in Blacklight
Studio, Kyiv, Ukraine.
Also the artwork is in the making, designed by the great Ukrainian artist
Nurgeslag, already known by his work with Greek outfit Rotting Christ.
Many thanks to all people involved in the making. We hope to share more details
soon.

A organização do SMSF tem um grande gosto por Hellhammer, Celtic Frost
e o legado que essas mesmas bandas deixaram para trás. Por essa razão os
germânicos WARHAMMER (DE) são um headliner lógico para o SMSF, e a
mesma formação da banda irá também pisar o palco do festival de música pesada
onde a troika não manda nada sob a forma de BLOOD ATONEMENT (DE), com o

VI SANTA MARIA SUMMER FEST – HISTÓRIA
Criado em 2010, o Santa Maria Summer Fest (SMSF) tem ao longo dos anos
provado ser um dos principais festivais no espectro da música extrema em
Portugal. Localizado na cidade de Beja, no coração do Baixo Alentejo, o festival
promove as vertentes mais pesadas da música nesta vasta região. De 4 bandas na
sua primeira edição, para 37 na quinta, o SMSF tem mostrado um
crescimento muito positivo, isto graças à sua característica de ser o festival
anti-crise, em que nas suas primeiras 4 edições teve entrada livre, contando
inclusive com a presença de nomes como DOOM [UK], CORPUS CHRISTII, MATA
RATOS, HEAVENWOOD, entre outros. A edição de 2014 do festival foi a primeira

Founded in 2005, Spearhead recorded their debut offering Deathless
Steel Command in mid-2005 - an assault of belligerent chaos and hatred,
released through Invictus Productions in 2006. Following the 2006 promo
EP When the Pillars Fall,Spearhead entered Hertz Studio
(Poland) in the Summer of 2007 to record the second full-length, the
highly-acclaimed Decrowning the Irenarch - a monument of imperious,
martial death metal war, testifying to the eternal truths of the warrior
tradition, released again under the blood-soaked banner of Invictus
Productions in December 2007.
The intervening years saw Spearhead destroy stages on the 2008 European
tour with Impiety and the 2009 US tour with Urgehal, together with a
large number of European festival appearances, including Inferno, Hells
Pleasure, and SWR Festival amongst others.
In 2010 Spearhead entered Orgone Studios (London) to record the third
full-length, Theomachia: The Doctrine of Ascension and Decline, released
in April 2011 by Agonia Records. By far the most violent, hostile, and
unrelenting Spearhead release to date, Theomachia is a bloody
proclamation of the cyclical nature of time and the path of war in the winter of
civilisation. Surrender to the swift advance of death or perish by the sword of
all-devouring time…
Rehearsal for the second recording phase of Zornheym
debut album has begun! Leader and concertmeister Petter Möller reported
that the first official rehearsal for the Dies
Iona Ensembly was a great success. Zornheymexpects nothing but the best from these fine musicians.
This past weeks Zornheym
has mainly focused on starting the percussion parts. Zornheym
should finish the orchestration soon and hopes for the possibility of rounding
up a real choir to sing the choir parts.

Polish death metal tyrants
HATE have unleashed
the new lyric video for "Rise Omega The Consequence!". This is the second
(after Leviathan) lyric video for a song from "Crusade:Zero". Today you

"Crusade: Zero" is the band's ninth studio release, which was issued via
Napalm Records
back in January. It was the swan song for departing guitarist Konrad
Ramotowski a/k/a Destroyer (who left back in April) and first to feature
drummer Pawel Jaroszewicz a/k/a Pavulon behind the kit.
For the lyric video the band commented: "Finally, we can present the new lyric video for the song „Rise Omega the
Consequence!”. We teamed up again with Redpig Production to create
this vision of the Universe and magnitude of the energies contained within it -
worlds in worlds, cold void and monster explosions. It is like a voyage through
aeons of raging darkness and burning cores. The song is about Darklight (OMEGA),
illuminating dark energy that permeates every thing. It is also a tribute to

"Black Flesh Redemption" to be released April 24
(EU) and May 5 (US) through Agonia Records.
Produced and mastered by vocalist Sverker Widgren, the four-track new EP
was recorded in two studios: Amplified (drums) and Wing (rest of the
instruments) between January and February, 2015.
The first new tracks since the release of the acclaimed "Darkness Unbound"
album (2013), deliver the ravishing sounds of HM-2 and razorsharp chants of
Stockholm-style death metal darkness.
DEMONICAL commented further on the new EP by saying: "Basically the
new material continues where Darkness Unbound left us, however, with a
slightly new course to explore when it comes to the musical and visual formula
of the band. But all you loyal followers - old and new - rest assure, we are
still talking about the finest form of pitch black old-school Stockholm-style
death metal that will hit you viciously and victoriously bringing you one step
closer to a cleansing redemption".

WORKING ON THE NEW ALBUM! [2015.04.20]
When it comes to the new album, modern extreme metallers
DEVILISH
IMPRESSIONS got 10 brand new songs written with a
total running time slightly over 66 mins. Although most likely not all the
tracks will end up on the regular edition of the album, the band are yet to pick
out those for potential bonuses.
The recording session of
DEVILISH
IMPRESSIONS 4th full-length, a follow up to their
critically acclaimed 'Simulacra' album (2012 Lifeforce Records)
and its successor 'Adventvs' Ep (CD/digipak 2014 self-released, MLP 2015
Hammerheart Records) will commence on the 7th of May 2015 a.s.
It was an amazing tour, NO doubt about it! HATE would like to
thank the bands taking part; espacially Vader, Marduk and Six Feet
Under. Also great thanks go to the crew: Daniel Szreder, Zoe Strobe,
Kuba, Wacek, Darek Pietraszak, Laudi and Chris. We are grateful. Last but

ways with guitarist Destoyer after 9 years due to different priorities
between him and the rest of the band. We would like to thank him for his
contribution through out all those years and wish him all the best in his future
endeavours. For live shows he will be replaced by Dominik „Domin” Prykiel

Noctem continue presenting their latest and successful opus
"Exilium" around the globe. The latest journey of the Iberian extreme
metallers consisted in a complete tour through China, from South to North.
After a great feedback in the Eastern Country, the spaniards are preparing
everything for their upcoming European journey "Black Wings of War Tour",
this time in a double headlining slot with Infest (Serbia). With Support
acts Heydra (Denmark).
This new tour will go through countries like Serbia, Austria,
Alemania,República Checa and Eslovenia.

Sverker, the soundwizard of Wing Studios,
will be going on a european tour with Demonical.

We are more that pleased with how things are coming along so far in the studio.
Now all that is left is for me to work on the string and choir arrangements to
give the songs that little extra punch!
DEBUT ALBUM
BEING RECORDED! [2015.04.13]
Zornheym debut, and yet untitled album drum recordings are done!
Everything is going according to the plan at Wing Studios.
This week the band will start tracking guitars. Yesterday
Zornheym got all the pre work done in his guitars and bass by the
talented Alan McCahey in Stockholm.
Zornheymwill be using his
Deathbucker pickups, from Lace Pickups
on an album for the first time!
Zornheym is from Finspång, a small southern town in Sweden. Finspang
comes wih a great musical legacy that was a center for black metal in the early
90's. After being entranced by artists and bands such as Yngwie Malmsteen,
King Diamond, Slash, Twisted Sister and Iron Maiden, Zorneym picked up the
guitar at the mere age of 12. He knew from that age on that music would be his
calling. At the age of 16 the urge to play guitar after hearing ”Magnum Opus”
with Yngwie J. Malmsteen became an obsession that ended up with
practice session that lasted for 12 hours a day. At that time he also started
buying a lot of different instructional VHS with his favourite guitar players.
In early 2000 he formed Suicidal Seduction that gained some underground
reputation in Sweden and that released two Eps. By this time Zornheym
composed all guitar and bass lines, even though he played lead guitar. He had
become very interested in studying how to compose a song from every possible
angle and to pull it all together as a solid unit.
In 2004 he discovered crust and immediately formed Aktiv Dödshjälp. As
the sole composer he handled both the guitar and bass duties. After various line
up changes the band is now complete with their singer Roberth Karlsson
(current singer for Scar Symetry)
In mid 2006 Emil Dragutinovic (ex-Marduk, ex-The Legion, ex-Devian)
offered Zornheym to join forces with him and Legion (ex-Ophthalamia,
ex-Marduk, ex-Witchery, ex-Devian) in their brand new band DEVIAN as
their new bass player. The debut album ”Ninewinged Serpent” was already
written, even though he played a big role with producing the vocals. During the
recording process one of the guitar players left the band, that recently had
signed a deal with CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS, the spot was offered to
Zornheym instantly. On the their first tour, 8 weeks with Vader and
SepticFlesh, Zornheym learned a lot about how to become a great stage
presence. He was addicted to giving the crowd and fans their moneys worth.
Together with Legion he would fire up the crowd every night. For the
second album, "God to the Illfated” he composed a great deal of songs and
arranged and produced a lot. After a few more tours the band was put to sleep
soon after Legion's departure from the band in 2010.
In early 2011 Zornheym saw that DARK FUNERAL were looking for a
new bass player which caught Zornyem's eye. After a few meetings with
band leader Ahriman and Chaq Mol, Zornheym was offered the
position as the band's new bass player. Together with them he has raised hell on
some of the biggest stages around the world. Together they have toured
Europe, North- Central and South America, Asia and Australia.
