Serpenth says: "First off, thanks goes out to Marthyn and Schoft for spreading extreme musick with us all over the world. Well, It was about time to change the touring line up for 2015 to guarantee the people massive, intense shows. The Switzerland concert next Saturday on 24th will be the first where you will hear new blood on stage. It's great. DEMONICAL RECORDING NEW MATERIAL
[2015.01.31]

Swedish death metal masters DEMONICAL have recently went into the studio to record what will be the band's brand new EP. The material is scheduled for a spring release via Agonia Records.

The first new tracks since the release of the 2013's acclaimed "Darkness Unbound" album, are being recorded in Amplified Studios (drums) and Wing Studios (rest of the instruments) in Sweden, with Sverker Widgren (vocals) behind the knobs. Sverker will also be handling the mixing and mastering duties in the near future.

On the recording of the new EP, bassist Martin Schulman commented: "Armed with blood and iron we have hereby started the recording process of a new four track EP, once again bringing forth the ravishing sounds of HM-2 and razorsharp chants of Stockholm-style death metal darkness. The hour of death draws near!".



Spawned in March 2006 by members of Centinex, DEMONICAL preserves the flame of sheer, traditional death metal with a suitable dose of melodiousness. With four full-length albums already under the belt, international tours, and high rankings in reader-polls in several magazines, the band inked a new record deal with Agonia Records at the end of 2015.

Extreme metal machine HATE, have released the official video for the song „Valley of Darkness” from their upcoming opus „Crusade:Zero”. The clip, which is today premiered on Metal Hammer (GSA), Heavy Metal Artworks (UK) and Decibel (USA & Rest of the World) was filmed, edited and produced by Redpig Production in Cracov/Poland in Nov/Dec 2014.

Commented vocalist/guitarist Atf Sinner: „While you wait for „Crusade:Zero” to attack your senses quite soon, we give you this blasphemous and haunting picture for the song „Valley of Darkness”. I chose this song as a first glimpse into „Crusade” because of its morbid seriousness and blasphemous atmosphere which, I believe, constitues a main foundation for the album. The song is a Requiem for the civilization as we know it. All you do is „following a death cult caravan through valley of darkness...”. Enjoy!

Ancient Rites extreme metal warriors are going to release their new studio album "Laguz" in late February 2015 via MASSACRE RECORDS!

The band was one of the first band in the 80's to play metal with occult and historically inspired lyrics when the music scene back then was dominated by glam and alternative music.

Several severe blows of fate didn't stop the band from doing what they love and the release of the upcoming 6th album will mark a new chapter in ANCIENT RITES' history.
