Norway's melodic extreme metallers SUSPERIA,
comprising former members of Dimmu Borgir and Satyricon will
return with their long-awaited first full-length studio album since 2009, titled
"The Lyricist", on March 16th via Agonia Records.

"The Lyricist" was recorded at three different studios in Norway between
February 2015 and May 2016. The album was later mixed and mastered at
Strand Studio (Chrome Division, The Wretched End, In Vain) by
Marius Strand. Cover design and artwork was prepared by Vincent Fouquet,
Above Chaos.
The first single together with pre-orders and album formats will be revealed in
January 2018!

The dark days of autumn and winter are approaching as European troop
BELPHEGOR plant another signpost to Hell upon the Earth's surface. One of
the most consistently extreme bands on the Death/Black scene crest their throne
built of bones once again to uncompromisingly attack humanity, three years after
their 2014 demonstration of brutality, »CONJURING THE DEAD«. »TOTENRITUAL«
consists of nine compositions which, blow-by-blow, silence any doubts about
the supremacy of these icons of the European scene. Merciless riff force,
crunchy blasts in a dark setting – 24 years after their foundation, BELPHEGOR’s
inventive creativity places them head and shoulders above the rest. Anyone
looking for silence, beautiful melodies and a life-affirming aura will suffocate
under the power of »TOTENRITUAL.«
Even small interludes takes the listener to a safe place only for a short period,
before the next brutal attack follows. The eleventh studio album of the
undisputed Death/Black Metal scene conductors follows the sophisticated path of
its precursors and will have their followers kneeling down in humility. The
commander of death-sounds does not use a blunt corset of henchmen for his
attacks on society's conventions, but demonstrates his skills as a high-class
songwriter. From determined songs, embossed by an obsessed directness, to
majestic ritualistic hymns - followers of darkest sermons will be led directly
into the abyss. »TOTENRITUAL« enters mercilessly into the procession of
BELPHEGOR's works of art: another thorn in the eye of every upholder of
moral standards – the end is heralded.
For the recordings of »TOTENRITUAL«, the squad retired to Stage One
Studios in Germany and Studio Mischmaschine in Austria.
For the diabolic wall of sound, the explosive material was sent across the pond
and was refined in the Audiohammer Studios in Florida by Jason Suecof
[Mix] and Mark Lewis [Mastering]. The impressive cover artwork was again
created by the Greek artist Seth Siro Anton, who has also created the
striking visual countenance for »PESTAPOCALYPSE VI« [2006] and »CONJURING
THE DEAD« [2014].
BELPHEGOR was founded in 1993 and spread like a virus within the
underground. Meanwhile, their »BLOODBATH IN PARADISE« demo has become
legendary and paved the baleful path into the souls of thousands of listeners.
Anti-religious with nihilistic tendencies as well as provocative topics,
BELPHEGOR moved on. The debut album »The Last Supper« [1995] let the
community of followers and opponents grow. Inexorably, the band pushes their
destructive ways forward in the following years. BELPHEGOR become louder,
more obsessed and more dynamic, and their albums now have cult status. To think
about the scene doesn't work without thinking of BELPHEGOR. In 2008, the
band sent their followers to the edge of hell with »Bondage Goat Zombie«
and sparked an all-consuming Death Metal fire with blasting black metal
influences. This masterpiece, inspired by the Marquis de Sade, is one of the
most demanding works the genre has offered to this day. BELPHEGOR showed
themselves equally brutal and baleful on the successors »WALPURGIS RITES -
HEXENWAHN« [2009] and »BLOOD MAGICK NECROMANCE« [2011]. The band
received a lot of great feedback for their intense live performances as well,
and reached out to a big and loyal fan base. Their obscure rituals full of
diabolical magick have haunted the world several times – next to extensive tours
through Asia and Europe, BELPHEGOR have also completed ten tours through
North America. No matter where BELPHEGOR march forth on this planet, be
it on your stereo or live on stage, one thing is for sure: after the crest of
their devilish death ceremony, there will only be a heap of ruins remaining!

BALFOR BIOGRAPHY Balfor is a Ukrainian Black Metal band from Kyiv featuring Khors,
Raventale and ex-Hate Forest members. The band plays a style that can
be to define as Barbaric Black Metal, a name that only partly explains
the kind of dark, dramatic music they play. Music that is an epic, melodic and a
blastingly fast mixture of Black and Death Metal.
Band's frontman, continuously since its founding, is Anton Thorgeir Prymak
- lead vocals, guitars and as well as main composer.
The first album “Volki Severa” was released by German label E.O.L.P.
Production and received many good reviews. Meantime, band completed their
first Ukrainian tour.
Next release “Pure Barbaric” in a move calculated to bring Balfor
to the attention of a much larger audience was released for free download via a
net-label. It was a move that was extremely successful in terms of increasing
interest to the band. Using the resources and capabilities of social media
Balfor manages to attract new listeners worldwide.
Writing a new album “Barbaric Blood” Balfor signed a contract and
publishes it on Pulverised Records. European tour in support of the album
was very successful. The band played shows in Germany, Belgium, Netherlands,
France, Spain, Portugal, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Poland. Balfor
also take a part on such well-known European metal festivals like: Eindhoven
Metal Meeting (NL), Rockmaraton (HU), Dong Open Air (DE), Global East (UA),
Metal Heads Mission (UA), Kilkim Zaibu (LT), Gothoom (SK), Carpathian Alliance (UA),
Metal Crowd (BEL), etc.
After that “Barbaric Blood” was released by CD-Maximum Records for
CIS and Baltic countries under the license of Pulverised Records.
Second European tour Balfor shared in the company of black metal bands
Emptiness and Christ Agony.
Without dwelling on the achievements Balfor returned to Kyiv and recorded
the EP “Heralds Of The Fall”.
And new album “Black Serpent Rising” will be released in January 2017 by
French label Drakkar Productions. Album interprets dark, barbaric past of
humanity and ancient cults.

DEMONICAL ENTER STUDIO TO
RECORD NEW ALBUM! [2017.11.09]
Swedish death metal masters DEMONICAL have just entered the studio to nail down the bands fifth full-length album, the first
one to feature our their vocalist Alexander Högbom and the first recording
in years featuring a permanent 5-piece line-up.
The sessions will take place at various locations around Sweden and the
recording will be mixed and mastered by the award winning producer
Karl Daniel Lidén, known from his work with acts such as Terra
Tenebrosa, Katatonia and Cult of Luna.
"The album will continue the traditional DEMONICAL path with fierce HM-2 driven Swedish death metal, however,
it will also feature some new elements and streaks we haven’t explored before as

LACUNA COIL |Italy| - Playing a Special Set
The first day headliners are the Italians LACUNA COIL, led by the
charismatic Cristina Scabbia and Andrea Ferro, a band that remains
one of the major references in the history of the Dark/Goth Rock music.
The band presents a special set specifically for Under the Doom, playing
many of the classics that are part of their career.
LIV KRISTINE |Norway|- Performing Theatre of Tragedy and solo albums Another muse in the history of Metal, Liv Kristine is one of the most
renowned singers in the world as a member of Theatre of Tragedy, Leaves Eyes
and her solo career. Liv Kristine will be joined on stage by her musicians and will play a
special set with songs by Theatre of Tragedy and some of her solo albums.
GREEN CARNATION |Norway|
The Norwegian Green Carnation are the musicians behind classics like
“Light of Day, Day of Darkness” or “A Blessing in Disguise”, albums
that left a mark on generations and that will always be one of the references in
Dark/Rock music.
For the first time in Portugal, Green Carnation intends to stamp forever
their performance in the memory of those attending the show.
THE FORESHADOWING |Italy|
From Rome, The Foreshadowing will be playing for the first time in
Portugal, presenting their newest album “Seven Heads Ten Horns”, released
in 2016. The band has also promised a special set for Under the Doom V,
focused in their most well-known songs.
INHUMAN |Portugal| - Playing “Strange Desire” Inhuman will be the only Portuguese band present at Under the Doom V,
a band that by different circumstances in life, “lost its track” after
the 1990s. They were authors of famous albums like “Strange Desire” or
“Foreshadow”, considered has some of the best Dark/Black Portuguese albums
ever.
The band will act live with its original line-up and will play the entire
“Strange Desire” album.
IN THE WOODS |Norway|
One of the leading bands in Dark Progressive, Doom or Black metal music, this is
undoubtedly one of the most wanted bands for Under the Doom. Making their
debut in Portugal, In The Woods will take us on a journey through time,
in a visit to each of their exquisite albums.
Their classic albums “Omnio”, “Strange in Stereo” or “Hearth of Ages”
are today a major influence in new generations.
NOVEMBERS DOOM |USA| Novembers Doom are one of the oldest bands from the United States still
paying. Having ten released albums, the newest “Hamartia” was published
this year and is an excellent album acclaimed all aver the world.
AHAB |Germany| - Playing “The Call of the Wretched Sea”
Weren't the German Ahab in Portugal at the last UTD? Yes! But this
is one of those bands that we wouldn't mind receiving every year. Those who have
seen them live know what we are talking about...
This time, the band brings us a special set, playing entirely their first album,
“The Call of the Wretched Sea”.

Acherontas play regularly as headliners or co-headliners at the main
underground festivals through Europe. They are also known for being totally
dedicated to music and being extremely professional.
For the first time in Portugal, this is a band that will astonish the audience
at UTD.
GOLD |The Netherlands| GOLD also make their debut in Portugal. Led by singer Milena Eva,
they are one of the greatest revelations in the last years, especially after
releasing their most recent work, “Optimist”.
An intensely serene performance, going through Rock, Psychedelic, Stoner and
Doom, with a sound very close to Metal.
