Conquest Icon was found in late 2009 by Andy Blakk (ex-Pyorrhoea,
Suicide Circle) and Empherion (Empheris, Hellish).
Band, supported by Imp from Saltus, started to work on debut album
in November 2009 and in April 2010 “Hellspire” was finished. Album was
mixed and produced by Andy Blakk (drums and vocals were recorded in
KPD Studio; guitars and bass were recorded in ABH Studio).
Music on “Hellspire” is an old school blackened death metal.
Album was released by 16th of July 2010. CDs are available through band's site

After releasing debut album "Hellspire", band takes no rest. In August
2010 the lineup was completed and band started to work on the material for the
split "We Are The Ancients" (split is shared with Empheris, Wraith,
Necroist and Purifier). Split is soon to be released.
In May 2012 co-founder and band's vocalist, Empherion, decided to leave
the band due to personal reasons. He was replaced by Ronve. Current
lineup is following.

DIABOLICAL are premiering the first single and music video “We Are
Diabolical”, taken off their sixth studio album “Eclipse”, to be
released on February 15th via Indie Recordings.
More than twenty years after their formation in northern Sweden, innovative
death/black metal hybrid
DIABOLICAL proves to be more vital than ever and puts forth
“Eclipse”, a concept album reflecting on the dark side of humanity that
forces the listener to explore his own diabolical side. The album is a tour de
force with spitting musical and aesthetic complexity swirling around a dense
soundscape of excellently distilled and refined ideas, altogether forming a rare
display of musical craftsmanship equaled by very few contemporary metal bands.
With nine gracefully raging songs, “Eclipse” presents
DIABOLICAL as a mature and sophisticated band on the rise to new heights.

"We Are Diabolical" is a song that sounds just as daunting as the title
suggests. Right from the opening you get the feeling that the doomsday has come
with a swarm of fallen angels painting the sky black. A contrasting middle part
follows and prepares you for a final raging battle towards the end of the song.

“This is the opening track of the new album and it sets the tone for it:
grand, intense, ominous and dark. Thematically it puts forth what is at the core
of the concept of this album, it’s supposed to raise questions and provoke the
listener" says guitarist Carl Stjärnlöv.
The band will also hit European roads in 2019, and will give hell-of-a-show in
more than thirty cities across the Old Continent, along withSepticFlesh,
Krisiun
and supports. The tour kick-off will take place @ Turock, in Essen, DE on March

ENTER THE STUDIO TO RECORD NEW ALBUM! [2018.11.29]
Polish Death Metal squadron
HATE is preparing to head to the studio in December to record the
follow-up to 2017’s “Tremendum.” The new opus, bearing the working title
“Salve Ignis,” is tentatively slated for summer 2019 and will be the
band’s debut collaboration with the legendary Metal Blade Records.
Details are still surfacing, but the band has so far released two raw
pre-production tracks: “Path to Arkhen” and “In The Shrine Of Veles”,
and have confirmed that production on the finished record will be handled by the
talented Wiesławski brothers at
Hertz Studio,
Poland (Behemoth, Vader, Decapitated, and others). More info shortly!
HATE have been praised by press and fans alike for years for creating
lacerating and dark music, proven best on their current album ‘Tremendum’
(2017). The album saw ATF Sinner (vocals, guitars) utilize the dark
aspects of the mystic and arcane Slavonic folklore to explore themes both
personal and impersonal. It is an album that is relatable at first listen, but
that is hard to fully know.

SERRABULHOhave revealed the first single for the new album "Porntugal - Portuguese
Vagitarian Gastronomy" that will be released on December, 15th by Rotten Roll
Rex!
The first single chosen is "Dingleberry Ice Cream", a song with lyrcs in
English and Mirandese - Portugal’s second official language, spoken mainly by
elders in the bands local region, it that tells the story of a Family Frost ice
cream salesman (hence the truck’s typical melody being played with a bagpipe)
who worked in Miranda do Douro (known as part of Portugal’s "cold lands"), who
became frustrated with his lack of success. One day he decides to “tweak“ the
ice cream’s recipe, and suddenly his sales go off the charts! Ricardo Santos [Velha Gaiteira, Gambuzinos, Trasga, Bizarma and Zaragaitas]
plays the bagpipe on the song.

"Porntugal" features a wide variety of guest appearances. Besides the
bagpipe, Ricardo Santos also plays rabel (similar to an archaic violin
and descendend from the medieval rebec), tarota (a catalan wind instrument, that
belongs to the Oboes family), adufe (a portuguese square drum), galician
tambourine and vieiras (scallop shells). Manuel Meirinhos [Galandum
Galundaina, Trasgo] contributes with additional vocals, sampling and bagpipe.
Freaky, the crazy chihuahua barks (a lot) on the song Os Tintins do
Tintin. Also, additional vocals throughout the CD were provided by Susana
Lima and Hugo Picamilho [PadariaGang].
Some field recordings captured in loco by ethnomusicologist Tiago Velhinha

were used on the disc.

also wish to note that a part of the band's twisted aesthetic actually
originates from the minds of two young ladies: Susana Catalão, our most
beloved lyricist, has penned the vast majority of the songs’ lyrics, delivering
some of funniest stories, written in an exquisite way that lets us delve
ever-deeper in our craziness. Meanwhile, Marta Peneda’s cover art has
been the band’s calling card. Every time we talk to either Susana and
Marta about some ideas we had, they return to us with even more deranged
concepts than the ones we initially brainstormed. Thank you, girls!
