Swedish death metal unit has unleashed two new tracks for their new album "Doomsday
Rituals" the new album will be out July 8 via Agonia Records.

The follow-up to 2014's come-back record "Redeeming Filth" will be titled
"Doomsday Rituals" and its cover, made by Bahrull Marta of
Abomination Imagery.
Surprisingly reunited in 2014 after a nearly eight-year hiatus, the band dosen't
want the fans to be kept waiting another near-decade for a new installment.
Recordings of "Doomsday Rituals" are taking place at Wing Studioswith DEMONICAL's
Sverker Widgren, and the whole process is already well in the middle.
Martin Schulman (bass) commented: "Musically the album is a natural follow-up to
"Redeeming Filth". Heavy riffing, deep brutal vocals, everything from slow via
mid-tempo to faster stuff, a perfect mix of the early 90's Florida and Stockholm
sound".

NOCTEM, Spanish blackened death metal tyrants have been recording new material for the bands fourth overall release.
NOCTEM have been working on Firework Studios in Valencia, Spain
where they have been working with Enrique Mompo and Tore Stjerna (Watain,
Tribulation, Valkyrja). The band has been recording guitars, bass, drums, vocals, choirs, effects
and samples for the yet-to-be-titled album.
The new piece of extreme metal art is expected to be
released later this year via Prosthetic
Records (N.America & UK/EU) and
Art Gates Records (Spain).

Ever since DIABOLICAL was formed in
Sundsvall, Sweden, in 1996 the band has caused confusion among the
narrow-minded, constantly progressing, refusing to do the expected. Already with
their early efforts "Deserts of Desolation" (mini album, 2000) and
"Synergy"(2001) DIABOLICAL stood out as something different
from the death metal bands coming up at the time, representing something
unwilling to be categorized easily. The reception from fans and media was very
good, resulting in a lot of coverage in major metal press at the time.
Following the success of the second full-length album "A Thousand Deaths"(2002) the band toured Europe several times in 2002-03 with
AMON AMARTH, VOMITORY and DEFLESHED among others, co-headlined Open Hell
festival (2002) and Kaltenbach Open Air (2003) and played several
other festivals as well. The albums were later re-released in South America, and
both albums were released in the USA as well.
2004-2008 the band only did few live appearances mainly due to Widgren’s
intense and increasing work schedule producing other bands at his Necromorbus
Studio.
But in 2008, after several years of record label related problems,
DIABOLICAL returned with full force and delivered a milestone in their
discography; taking their innovative death metal a huge step further they
plunged the listener into the darkest corners of the human mind, bringing
restrained aggression and cravings for vengeance to life in "The Gallery of
Bleeding Art". The album received brilliant reviews and was followed by two
small but very successful headline tours though Europe.
In January 2011"Ars Vitae" was released, containing 17 tracks
from different parts of the band's career. The newest material was recorded at
Necromorbus Studio in 2010, and was again produced by founding
band-member Sverker Widgren. The band did several tours between 2010
and 2011 in Europe and Russia in support of "Ars Vitae".
In 2012 an announcement was made that a new album was in the making.
Entitled "Neogenesis"
it stands out as something truly unique. The album raises the bar for
concept albums as it apart from being a music album also is a novel. Uniting
every song with a chapter of the book the music, lyrics, storytelling and
philiosphy of "Neogenesis" blends together to create a profound
experience that will surely leave a deep impression on the listener.
"Neogenesis" will be released on the 27th of September 2013.

Founded by Quazarre in 2000, DEVILISH IMPRESSIONS merges the
fierceness of traditional black and death metal with a subtle dose of ethereal
melodies. Throughout the years the band found the right balance between those
seemingly opposing elements and eventually created their own, distinctive sonic
path. Critically acclaimed records as well as intense touring all over the Old
Continent along with some of the biggest names on the metal scene made the band
a promising force on the map of European extreme music.
Considered as one of Poland’s leading and most innovative modern black / death
metal acts Devilish Impressions started in 2000 as a three-piece, with
founding singer / guitarist Quazarre remaining the only member of the
original line-up. The band began the process of shaping up its own spirit and
self-consciousness marking its presence with the 45-minutes-long “Eritis
sicut Deus; Verbum Diaboli Manet in Aeternum; Vox Vespertilio Act I – Moon Var
Dies Irae”, self-released in 2002.
2005 saw them recording “Plurima Mortis Imago”, released in September 2006 on
Conquer Records. Two months later the band joins forces with AETERNUS
for the European ‘Ageless Void Tour 2006’. In April 2007 they land a slot
on MARDUK’s ‘Swords In The East’ Eastern European run.
In May 2007 the group enters Studio X for the recording session of their
sophomore full-length “Diabolicanos – Act III: Armageddon”. While the
record was being mastered by Andy Classen at Stage One Studio,
Devilish Impressions appears at Red Alert Festival in the Crimea with
VADER and SUFFOCATION. At the end of the year, the band sets off
for the ‘Verbum Diaboli Tour 2007’, their first ever headlining run
across the Eastern European countries.
The “Diabolicanos...” album, released in January 2008 again on Conquer
Records, was widely praised in the international metal press and gave
Devilish Impressions the opportunity to open for BEHEMOTH and
SUICIDE SILENCE on ‘The Apostasy European Tour’, and then embark with
DISMEMBER for the ‘UK, Ireland and Northern Ireland Tour’. Meanwhile the
group was invited for selected shows of ‘Wacken Road Show 2008’ with
OVERKILL, TRISTANIA, SAMAEL and ENSLAVED on the bill.
In May 2008 “Diabolicaos…” comes out in Poland licensed to Empire
Records followed by the band’s first time ever Polish invasion ‘Rebel
Angels Tour Vol. 3’ along with HATE. Right after the tour Devilish
Impressions comes back to Ukraine for a special show with SATYRICON.
The summer of 2008 included the band's appearance at Pro Rock Festival
while co-headlining with RAGE and at Metal Heads Mission Festival
with bands like MOONSPELL, GORGOROTH and SAMAEL to name but a few.
In the second half of 2010, Devilish Impressions enters few recording
studios in order to produce “Simulacra”, their last opus up-to-date.
Releasing the album in 2012 on several record labels: Lifeforce Records
(Europe / North America), Icaros Records (Poland), MSR Productions (Russia / CIS
countries), resulted also in signing the worldwide deal with The Flaming
Arts Management and Booking Agency.
Nominated for a 2012 METAL STORM AWARD “Simulacra” was voted one of the BEST
MELODIC BLACK METAL / METALGAZE ALBUM and gets very good press all over the
world.
In support to the record the group appears at a bunch of summer festivals, incl.
Hard Rock Laager (with SAMAEL, MELECHESH), Carpathian Alliance (with DARK
FUNERAL, CARPATHIAN FOREST, TYR, ARKONA), Castle Party (with COMBICHRIST,
HOCICO) and Brutal East, followed by ‘Fear no Gods of The East
Tour 2013’, a month-long headlining run across The Baltic States / Eastern
European countries. After the tour Devilish Impressions plays at Wave
Gotik Treffen (with PARADISE LOST, LACRIMOSA) and at MetalFest
Open Air Poland (with HELLOWEEN, ACCEPT, SODOM, DESTRUCTION, DOWN,

Demonical was spawned in March 2006 - by former Centinex members
Johan Jansson (guitars & vocals), Martin Schulman (bass) and Ronnie
Bergerståhl (drums) - with a mission to return to the roots of death metal
and deliver a sheer dose of darkness and brutality.
The first audio assault - a four track promo attack entitled "Bloodspell
Divine" - was recorded at Necromorbus Studios during July the same
year. In November 2006 Demonical added vocalist Ludvig Engellau to
the line-up - 'cause Johan wanted to fully concentrate on the six-string
axe - and signed a worldwide multi-album deal with German Cyclone Empire.
The bands first full-length album, "Servants Of The Unlight", was
recorded at both Black Lounge and Necromorbus Studios during January and
February 2007 and released in April the same year. In November 2007 Temple of
Darkness released a limited Demonical/Absu 7”EP featuring one track
from the “Bloodspell Divine” promo.
In December 2007 the band parted ways with vocalist Ludvig Engellau due
to musical and personal reasons. Demonical continued for a few months
with various session vocalists until late March 2008 when Sverker “Widda”
Widgren came on board as the new fulltime frontman.
The bands second full-length album, “Hellsworn”, was recorded at
Necromorbus Studios between December 2008 and February 2009 and released by
Cyclone Empire in May 2009. A split 7”EP called ‘Imperial Anthems
Vol.1’ with Paganizer was released by Cyclone Empire in early
2010. This limited vinyl featured an exclusive Demonical track recorded
at the “Hellsworn” session.
In September 2010 Demonical once again entered Necromorbus Studios
in order to record “Death Infernal”, their anticipated third full-length
album. The album was recorded throughout the fall and released in Europe by
Cyclone Empire (April 2011) and in north-America by Metal Blade (July
2011) as a limited digi-CD, regular CD and limited LP.
The album was praised by fans and media and climbed high at reader-polls in
several magazines. During the fall 2011 drummer Ronnie Bergerståhl
decided to leave the band due to scheduling conflicts and he was quickly
replaced by Fredrik Widigs.
After “Death Infernal” was released the band decided to add a second
guitarist for live situations. A few session members were used at several tours
until Daniel Gustavsson joined as a full-time member during the summer
2012.
The first half of 2013 was spent at both Necromorbus and Wing Studios
in Stockholm with the recordings of “Darkness Unbound”. After the
recording a line-up change took place with Johan Haglund replacing
Johan Jansson and Ämir Batar replacing Fredrik Widigs.
“Darkness Unbound” was released on September 20th 2013 and supported by a
world tour.

Conquest Icon was found in late 2009 by Andy Blakk (ex-Pyorrhoea,
Suicide Circle) and Empherion (Empheris, Hellish).
Band, supported by Imp from Saltus, started to work on debut album
in November 2009 and in April 2010 “Hellspire” was finished. Album was
mixed and produced by Andy Blakk (drums and vocals were recorded in
KPD Studio; guitars and bass were recorded in ABH Studio).
Music on “Hellspire” is an old school blackened death metal.
Album was released by 16th of July 2010. CDs are available through band's site

After releasing debut album "Hellspire", band takes no rest. In August
2010 the lineup was completed and band started to work on the material for the
split "We Are The Ancients" (split is shared with Empheris, Wraith,
Necroist and Purifier). Split is soon to be released.
In May 2012 co-founder and band's vocalist, Empherion, decided to leave
the band due to personal reasons. He was replaced by Ronve. Current

In the darkest abyss of chaos where time and space are impenetrable, Black
Altar came into existence. It took its earthly shape during blasphemous
Sabbath in the Night of Walpurgia Anno Bastardi 1996, when it was summoned by
the voice of Shadow. He, as the first guardian of Black Altar,
have started an unholy crusade, thus awaking fear and pain among the
hypocritical and hideous christian lambs.
The first stroke into their rotten system of values was a demo entitled "Na
Uroczysku..." which gained a special recognition among several groups of
listeners. It was recorded by Shadow in 1997 at Selani Studio with the
help of Doc, Vader's drummer, in the role of a music engineer and drums
programming. Released under Shadow's own label - Odium Rec., the
first issue of 500 copies was sold out rapidly, making the name of Black
Altar very popular in Poland and in other countries as well.
Where were many musicians involved, however none of them stayed long because
they could not meet Shadow's high musical and ideological requirements.
The turning-point came in the end of 1999 when two new musicians, who just like
Shadow had shown boundless devotion to the Black Metal Art, joined the
band.
In December 2000 a new, long-awaited EP entitled "Wrath ov the Gods" was
recorded. Although all the compositions included were rather old, this record
presented a new and more full-fledged face of the band. The EP was released in
2002, once again, by Odium Rec., this time as a limited to 666 copies
hand-numbered with blood split CD with promising band Vesania. In 2003
Odium Rec. re-released "Wrath of the Gods" in the form of limited to
500 copies, hand-numbered with corpse blood, 7" EP.
In September 2003 at Selani Studio Black Altar recorded their debut album
entitled "Black Altar". It was a great improvement in the development of
the band. All the compositions show an enormous potential of Black Altar.
The new hymns are still more extreme and more technical. They reveal the unknown
regions of Black Metal - an Art destined for the privileged. "Black
Altar" was mixed and mastered at Studio X. For the track "Fire
ov Immortal Self" a professional video was recorded. In April 2004 the
material is released in the form of CD and a gate-fold LP by the German
Christhunt Productions. Odium Rec. releases a limited to 666 copies
hand-numbered with corpse blood cassette version of "Black Altar".
After releasing the debut album Shadow parts with his musicians and as of
that moment Black Altar became a one-man band.
In 2006 WarKult Prod from Peru released remastered version of Black
Altar "Wrath ov the Gods" (with 4 bonus tracks) as split,slip case cd, with
Nebular Mystic (Nor).
In October 2006 Black Altar finished, at very good Studio X, record
session of their second album called "Death Fanaticism". It's a killer
Black Metal Holocaust! This unholy Masterpiece ov Black Art was unleashed as cd
in March 2008 under the wings of Odium Rex and as gatefold Lp version by
Antichristian Front Rec from Spain.
In July 2010 Black Altar recorded tracks for mini album “Suicidal
Salvation” and for split Black Altar/Varathron/Thornspawn.
In January 2013 Black Altar / Varathron / Thornspawn split was finally

BELPHEGOR FORCED TO CANCEL RUSSIAN DATES!

After a great tour kickoff in Minsk, Belarus [18th April],
Diabolical Death/ Black Metal titans BELPHEGOR dealt with
heavy opposition and censorship within Russia resulting in three shows being
cancelled.
The band commented on this: "The band apologizes to Russian supporters. The
troop tried everything to secure the shows. The St. Petersburg concert was
canceled just a few hours before BELPHEGOR was
scheduled to enter the stage on the 19th of April. We arrived in Moscow hoping
for the best on the 20th. We were ordered to remove the already hanging backdrop,
then told that stage props such as sculptures and crosses were forbidden, and
Helmuth was not allowed to do vocals for the track "Lucifer Incestus".
During the second track, the sound engineer had been forced to mute the vocals
for the rest of the show because of our lyrical content. We were outraged by the
entire experience. Afterward, we were informed that we would be unable to play
in Ekaterinburg [21st April] and Krasnodar [23rd April]."
Helmuth adds: "We've toured Russia three times since 2006 and always
had amazing experiences. We've ignored all protests including death threats
during the past few weeks. I was aware many black and death metal bands were
having trouble recently, but we still marched in. To people who think they know
everything: When that waste of oxygen approached us at the airport on the 19th,
he had a hand in his pocket. I expected him to have a weapon. If I had hit him,
I would have been thrown in jail, and he would have ended up in the hospital.
That was their plan; he had that other degenerate filming the entire thing.
Special thanks to brother Mr. Karl Sanders, who had the courage to block
him as he continued to harass me. I'm a musician, not a fighter, especially in
Russia. I've survived Typhus and have already been dead for six hours, hanging
on only by machines followed by open-heart surgery. I do not fear anyone other
than myself. No excuses to anyone!! End of story. It is of the utmost importance
that artists have freedom of expression. Throughout history religions and
governments have and continue to censor creative works all around the world.
Thank you very much to all metalheads who loyally stand behind us and fight
against oppressors and hypocritical moralizers. Russian supporters, be prepared!! BELPHEGOR are
unstoppable and will return."

IMPRESSIONS who have recently completed their work on the new album,
have posted some updates:
"It's been quiet here for some time now so I've decided I'd give you a small
update... The promo package containing the new tunes has recently been and is
still being sent out to record labels out there. I think we've already mentioned
earlier on that the new record is definitely the most complex and multi-layered
we've ever done and it's certainly not as catchy as e.g. 'Simulacra'.
Therefore I really hope ppl at A&R departments won't push it back before giving
it several spins as it simply requires decent amount of time to dig it. So, as
you can see, things actually are on the move and, frankly speaking, there isn't
much more we can really do about it at the moment.
As for questions regarding our live appearances, well, from our point of view it
just really makes no sense to try to arrange yet another touring cycle in order
to keep on promoting our previous records, especially seeing we've got this new
album that we really can't wait to cast a spell on you with... So, those of you
Devils who truthfully care about the band, share this post, keep your fingers

French Black Death Metal warriors are to to release split 7″ "Dramatis
Personae" EP with AZZIARD!
Kaotoxin is proud to announce the July 22nd release of a limited edition
split 7″ EP by two pillars of the French Black Metal Scene: NIRNAETH and
AZZIARD.
Sharing singer with THE NEGATION, AZZIARD’s contribution, “Unus Mundus”,
has been produced at the Vamacara studio (OTARGOS, VOLKER, ANTROPOFAGO…)
and was previously released as part of Kaotoxin’s “Weapons of
Self-Destruction, volume 2” label sampler while NIRNAETH’s “Nihil
in Me” has been produced at the Midnight studio (GRONIBARD…) and
mastered at HHStudio (MISERABLE FAILURE, MERDA MUNDI, SOURCES OF I…).
The EP, with artwork by Above Chaos (Bethlehem, Tsjuder, Naglfar…),
will be available in two versions: a 100 copies collector edition solid grey
vinyl exclusively available from the artists or through theKaotoxin Shop
and a 400 copies limited edition black vinyl. Preorders will start June 20th.

Swedish death metal unit have revealed the cover and title of their next studio
album!
The follow-up to 2014's come-back record "Redeeming Filth" will be titled
"Doomsday Rituals" and its cover, made by Bahrull Marta of
Abomination Imagery, is available below.
Surprisingly reunited in 2014 after a nearly eight-year hiatus, the band dosen't
want the fans to be kept waiting another near-decade for a new installment.
Recordings of "Doomsday Rituals" are taking place at Wing Studioswith DEMONICAL's
Sverker Widgren, and the whole process is already well in the middle.
Martin Schulman (bass) commented: "Musically the album is a natural follow-up to
"Redeeming Filth". Heavy riffing, deep brutal vocals, everything from slow via
mid-tempo to faster stuff, a perfect mix of the early 90's Florida and Stockholm
sound".
