Nascidos em Berlim nos idos de 2001, como um one-man-project do seu vocalist/guitarrista
Mors Dalos Ra, os alemães NECROS CHRISTOS souberam pavimentar o seu
caminho no cenário da música pesada com uma determinação que lhes permitiu
atingir o estatuto de banda a ter presente, ainda que contem apenas com dois
albums de longa duração no seu currículo, fruto das suas constantes ligações e
colaborações com diversos outros projectos. Um olhar mais atento à sua
discografia, no entanto, revela um percurso com vários lançamentos ao longo dos
anos, entre diversos EP’s e demos, algumas destas gravações atingindo destaque
considerável no underground mundial.
Fazendo uso de uma inteligente mistura musical, entre o Death Metal e o Doom,
não se coibindo de fazer uso de algumas passagens mais próximas do Black Metal,
com diversas influências a beber, por exemplo, nas expressões culturais
mediterrânicas ou orientais, esta banda tem conseguido manter-se interessante e
diversificada ao longo dos anos, juntando também aos motivos anteriormente
citados uma presença em palco que não deixa indiferentes aqueles que têm
oportunidade de viver um dos seus concertos.
Em momentos etéreos e progressivos ou apresentando balanços circulares em
contraste, os NECROS CHRISTOS não desdenham qualquer oportunidade que
tenham para tentar criar mundos e ambientes diferentes com a sua música. Esta
afirmação pode ser confirmada por quem tenha estado na sua última passagem pelo
nosso país ou por todos aqueles que venham a estar presentes no próximo dia 04

Demonical was spawned in March 2006 - by former Centinex members
Johan Jansson (guitars & vocals), Martin Schulman (bass) and Ronnie
Bergerståhl (drums) - with a mission to return to the roots of death metal
and deliver a sheer dose of darkness and brutality.
The first audio assault - a four track promo attack entitled "Bloodspell
Divine" - was recorded at Necromorbus Studios during July the same
year. In November 2006 Demonical added vocalist Ludvig Engellau to
the line-up - 'cause Johan wanted to fully concentrate on the six-string
axe - and signed a worldwide multi-album deal with German Cyclone Empire.
The bands first full-length album, "Servants Of The Unlight", was
recorded at both Black Lounge and Necromorbus Studios during January and
February 2007 and released in April the same year. In November 2007 Temple of
Darkness released a limited Demonical/Absu 7”EP featuring one track
from the “Bloodspell Divine” promo.
In December 2007 the band parted ways with vocalist Ludvig Engellau due
to musical and personal reasons. Demonical continued for a few months
with various session vocalists until late March 2008 when Sverker “Widda”
Widgren came on board as the new fulltime frontman.
The bands second full-length album, “Hellsworn”, was recorded at
Necromorbus Studios between December 2008 and February 2009 and released by
Cyclone Empire in May 2009. A split 7”EP called ‘Imperial Anthems
Vol.1’ with Paganizer was released by Cyclone Empire in early
2010. This limited vinyl featured an exclusive Demonical track recorded
at the “Hellsworn” session.
In September 2010 Demonical once again entered Necromorbus Studios
in order to record “Death Infernal”, their anticipated third full-length
album. The album was recorded throughout the fall and released in Europe by
Cyclone Empire (April 2011) and in north-America by Metal Blade (July
2011) as a limited digi-CD, regular CD and limited LP.
The album was praised by fans and media and climbed high at reader-polls in
several magazines. During the fall 2011 drummer Ronnie Bergerståhl
decided to leave the band due to scheduling conflicts and he was quickly
replaced by Fredrik Widigs.
After “Death Infernal” was released the band decided to add a second
guitarist for live situations. A few session members were used at several tours
until Daniel Gustavsson joined as a full-time member during the summer
2012.
The first half of 2013 was spent at both Necromorbus and Wing Studios
in Stockholm with the recordings of “Darkness Unbound”. After the
recording a line-up change took place with Johan Haglund replacing
Johan Jansson and Ämir Batar replacing Fredrik Widigs.
“Darkness Unbound” was released on September 20th 2013 and supported by a
world tour.

was recorded in two studios: Amplified (drums) and Wing (rest of
the instruments) between January and February, 2015. The cover artwork was

Conquest Icon was found in late 2009 by Andy Blakk (ex-Pyorrhoea,
Suicide Circle) and Empherion (Empheris, Hellish).
Band, supported by Imp from Saltus, started to work on debut album
in November 2009 and in April 2010 “Hellspire” was finished. Album was
mixed and produced by Andy Blakk (drums and vocals were recorded in
KPD Studio; guitars and bass were recorded in ABH Studio).
Music on “Hellspire” is an old school blackened death metal.
Album was released by 16th of July 2010. CDs are available through band's site

After releasing debut album "Hellspire", band takes no rest. In August
2010 the lineup was completed and band started to work on the material for the
split "We Are The Ancients" (split is shared with Empheris, Wraith,
Necroist and Purifier). Split is soon to be released.
In May 2012 co-founder and band's vocalist, Empherion, decided to leave
the band due to personal reasons. He was replaced by Ronve. Current
lineup is following.

In the darkest abyss of chaos where time and space are impenetrable, Black
Altar came into existence. It took its earthly shape during blasphemous
Sabbath in the Night of Walpurgia Anno Bastardi 1996, when it was summoned by
the voice of Shadow. He, as the first guardian of Black Altar,
have started an unholy crusade, thus awaking fear and pain among the
hypocritical and hideous christian lambs.
The first stroke into their rotten system of values was a demo entitled "Na
Uroczysku..." which gained a special recognition among several groups of
listeners. It was recorded by Shadow in 1997 at Selani Studio with the
help of Doc, Vader's drummer, in the role of a music engineer and drums
programming. Released under Shadow's own label - Odium Rec., the
first issue of 500 copies was sold out rapidly, making the name of Black
Altar very popular in Poland and in other countries as well.
Where were many musicians involved, however none of them stayed long because
they could not meet Shadow's high musical and ideological requirements.
The turning-point came in the end of 1999 when two new musicians, who just like
Shadow had shown boundless devotion to the Black Metal Art, joined the
band.
In December 2000 a new, long-awaited EP entitled "Wrath ov the Gods" was
recorded. Although all the compositions included were rather old, this record
presented a new and more full-fledged face of the band. The EP was released in
2002, once again, by Odium Rec., this time as a limited to 666 copies
hand-numbered with blood split CD with promising band Vesania. In 2003
Odium Rec. re-released "Wrath of the Gods" in the form of limited to
500 copies, hand-numbered with corpse blood, 7" EP.
In September 2003 at Selani Studio Black Altar recorded their debut album
entitled "Black Altar". It was a great improvement in the development of
the band. All the compositions show an enormous potential of Black Altar.
The new hymns are still more extreme and more technical. They reveal the unknown
regions of Black Metal - an Art destined for the privileged. "Black
Altar" was mixed and mastered at Studio X. For the track "Fire
ov Immortal Self" a professional video was recorded. In April 2004 the
material is released in the form of CD and a gate-fold LP by the German
Christhunt Productions. Odium Rec. releases a limited to 666 copies
hand-numbered with corpse blood cassette version of "Black Altar".
After releasing the debut album Shadow parts with his musicians and as of
that moment Black Altar became a one-man band.
In 2006 WarKult Prod from Peru released remastered version of Black
Altar "Wrath ov the Gods" (with 4 bonus tracks) as split,slip case cd, with
Nebular Mystic (Nor).
In October 2006 Black Altar finished, at very good Studio X, record
session of their second album called "Death Fanaticism". It's a killer
Black Metal Holocaust! This unholy Masterpiece ov Black Art was unleashed as cd
in March 2008 under the wings of Odium Rex and as gatefold Lp version by
Antichristian Front Rec from Spain.
In July 2010 Black Altar recorded tracks for mini album “Suicidal
Salvation” and for split Black Altar/Varathron/Thornspawn.
In January 2013 Black Altar / Varathron / Thornspawn split was finally
unleashed by Odium Records as jewel case cd version, as a deluxe gatefold
vinyl limited to 350 copies on black and to 150 copies on clear vinyl by
Floga Rec/Hellsfire Rec from Greece. Moreover digi book A5 version will be
released about February via Black Saw Prod (Mex) and BlackDeath Coven (USA)
and tape version, limited to 140 copies in cardboard box via RawBlackKult
Prod from Bolivia! There are 3 new tracks of Black Altar +intro and
outro.
In October mini album "Suicidal Salvation" was unleashed by German
Darker than Black as a digi pack and Lp (in 2014). The album includes songs
originally intended for the split with Shining
Next release of Black Altar will be a split with Beastcraft (Nor)
in 2014.

Lux Ferre,
colectivo de Black Metal já com dois álbuns editados, são uma das propostas mais
solidas do seu género no underground nacional, formaram-se em 2001 com os seus
elementos sediados no eixo Porto/Lisboa/Faro presentemente, a banda desde o seu
começo que tem vindo a gerar um culto e estatuto muito forte com seus dois
primeiros registos a ser alvo de boas criticas e consenso entre os fans, sendo
que o seu Black Metal negro, austero e de cariz minimalista despertou
curiosidade e bom feedback a nível do mercado Europeu, nomeadamente França,
Holanda e Alemanha.
Actualmente estão a preparar o seu terceiro disco para ser lançado este ano e
cujos detalhes serão revelados atempadamente.
K-OS,
colectivo de Salamanca, Espanha, formaram-se em 1996 e têm dois álbuns editados,
são uma das propostas mais explosivas a nível Ibérico, com uma sonoridade Heavy
Thrash Metal bem vincada, na linha de Testament, Exodus, Pantera ou Metallica,
cantam em castelhano e pautam-se por uma atitude feroz e combativa, retratando a
realidade dura da vida, o seu ultimo trabalho denominado "Planeta
Violento" foi muito bem recebido e solidificou definitivamente a
carreira da banda com o tema "Madre"
a servir de cartão de visita e a espelhar bem a contundência da sua sonoridade,
que o grupo vem agora demonstrar pela primeira vez em Portugal, após terem
atestado com regularidade nestes últimos anos os palcos do seu país.
Mindfeeder,
colectivo de Lisboa, practicantes de Power Heavy Metal, formaram-se em 2003 e
desde que editaram o seu ultimo trabalho denominado "Endless
Storm" que se estabeleceram como uma das bandas mais coesas da cena
Heavy Metal nacional e vindo a obter uma reputação fortissima ganhada a pulso
nos palcos de norte a sul de Portugal.
Estão a trabalhar no novo álbum e desta feita virão a Beja, mostrar a sua força
integrados no cartel desta edição.
Hourswill,
colectivo de Lisboa, com uma abordagem Thrash Heavy Metal Progressivo na sua
sonoridade, formaram-se em 2009 e estão a promover o álbum "Inevitable",
editado pela
Etheral Sound Works.
Moonshade, provenientes do Porto, executam uma vertente Death Metal
Melódico, bastante técnico e intrincado, formaram-se em 2010 e estão a
apresentar o segundo EP, denominado "Dream
| Oblivion".
Gennoma,
banda sediada em Lisboa, formados em 2012 e practicantes de Death Metal
Progressivo, estão a promover o single do álbum de estreia com nome por revelar,
no seguimento do EP "Time
Desconstruction", editado em 2014.
As próximas confirmações serão divulgadas muito em breve e a formalizar um
cartel fortíssimo para a capital do Baixo Alentejo.
Primeiro festival dedicado ao Heavy Metal na cidade, e mantêm-se como único no
seu propósito, com um âmbito, imagem e impacto forte, com características
próprias e interessantes, sendo um género de música que continua a fascinar
novas gerações e a renovar a sua base de fans, já com várias décadas de
história!
O evento, assim designado por ser o nome da cidade na altura do Império Romano,
caracteriza-se por ser um festival em plena época Outonal, cujo objectivo é
possibilitar que haja aqui um ponto de passagem ao Sul, para as Bandas tocarem,
um respiradouro e artéria fundamental do panorama Heavy Metal nacional!
Com dimensões adaptadas ao meio em que se insere, no interior do Alentejo, em
Portugal, um dos países periféricos da Europa, este evento de valor, criado em
2009, que se quer com nível e qualidade, teve a sua génese e início na Casa da
Cultura, para servir a comunidade em que se insere, pretende ser um encontro
relevante na nossa região e uma mostra, cerimónia e espectáculo anual, do que
melhor se faz no âmbito e género de música que a idealização do festival
pretende expor!

Amigos, temos algo a anunciar. Ao longo dos passados 6 anos, o berço do SMSF
tem sido o Anfiteatro Exterior da Casa da Cultura, recinto que nunca nos
desapontou e que tinha todas as condições necessárias ao bom funcionamento do
festival. Porém, para o ano há a possibilidade desse mesmo espaço estar em
obras, desta forma resolvemos mudar a localização do festival para o Parque
de Merendas da cidade de Beja, um local que consideramos o perfeito para a
nossa congregação. A zona de concertos será no parque de estacionamento junto à
mata, e o acampamento será na própria mata. E um bónus: tem um estádio de
futebol ao lado. Bora torcer pelo Desportivo de Beja?

1993: The now legendary demo on Maxi Cd format, BLOODBATH IN PARADISE,
is circulated within the underground and earns BELPHEGOR the reputation
of an unrepentant, blasting war machine. 1995: The first studio album,
THE LAST SUPPER, is released on Lethal Records and is a welcomed
collection of infernal hymns for their growing fan base. Following their own
path of sin and befitting their ever-evolving anti-religious, anti-life
attitude, BELPHEGOR’s logo gets revamped to incorporate two inverted
crosses completely surrounded by blood representing the slaughter of Christians
and martyrs. 1997: Last Episode Records releases BLUTSABBATH. BELPHEGOR’s
sinister reputation continues to gain momentum.
MUSICA INFERNALIA
2000: Stagnation means death! The band spreads their disease once again
via NECRODAEMON TERRORSATHAN, logging yet another volume of blasphemy
added to The Vatican Library. 2002:BELPHEGOR celebrates their
10th anniversary by capturing a live set with songs played even faster than
their original studio recordings on INFERNAL LIVE ORGASM
(released on their own label, Phallelujah Productions).
DIE TOTEN REITEN SCHNELL
2003: Produced at Mastersound Studios, BELPHEGOR cram their
high-speed murderous brutality into the 8-track release of LUCIFER INCESTUS,
and then tour again throughout Europe. 2005: The band opts to once again
to work with Alex Krull at Mastersound to create the morbid
GOATREICH - FLESHCULT, and later shredding Europe with the infamous
X-Mass Festival and an eighteen dates headliner tour. “We don’t give a fuck
about anything and don’t let anyone talk us into doing anything. Only the music
counts!”

Produced, mixed, and mastered by Andy Classen at Stage One Studio
in Kassel, Germany, and featuring artwork by Seth Siro Anton
PESTAPOKALYPSE VI is, on the one hand, a concept album based on The Devil,
Pestilence, and The Apocalypse, and on the other, a lesson in infernology.
Incorporating unconventional harmonies with dynamic execution and monumentally
aggressive vocal work, its multi-language approach (the German verses in
“Bluhtsturm Erotika” are taken from the works of Marquis de Sade &
Goethe; “Sanctus Perversum” defiles the church’s monopoly on Latin)
accurately represents the infernal musical landscape BELPHEGOR
comfortably inhabits.
Accept it: our world is necessarily haunted by evil, and when the armies of the
dead return with their pestilence to annihilate the living, there will be no
better guides while traveling down the fiery road to the endless abyss of Hell
than BELPHEGOR.
BONDAGE GOAT ZOMBIE: BDSM & SATHAN 2008
With their seventh Album, suitably titled BONDAGE GOAT ZOMBIE, the Death/
Black Metal institution crushes all their previous releases! A real massacre of
pounding Death Metal and majestic, hyper fast Black Metal spread out over nine
killer songs full of diabolical possession, and pure darkness! BONDAGE GOAT
ZOMBIE is their most mature effort up to day, this time BELPHEGOR
have managed to melt ultra blastbeats and heaviness to one union.
The Fleischwerk was once again recorded in three sessions form November 2007 to
January 2008 with Andy Classen in the famous Stage One Studios in
Kassel/Germany – guarantying a smashing and powerful production.
The concept of the album is inspired by the infamous Marquis De Sade
(1740 – 1814), giving the lyrics of the album a blessed touch of Evil. As on the
last album, the vocals are held in English, German and Latin. BONDAGE GOAT ZOMBIE is once again a lesson in violence and a true
offering when it comes to crushing Metal with the extra punch in the face.

as classificativas regionais, a 15 de Janeiro no Porto e 16 de Janeiro em
Lisboa. As quatro melhores performances valem uma ida ao SWR Barroselas
Metalfest 2016, onde acontecerá a final nacional e será escolhido o
