“We would like you to know that we have decided to continue with the band and
keep on doing our job as always. There is still a big hole in our hearts, but we
do not want to focus on mourning over the tragedy. Instead we decide to focus on
the band and keeping it alive as well as all the ideas we shared with
Mortifer. We treat what we do as a mission and we cannot see the end of it.
On some shows to come we will be accompanied by Mortifer’s wife
Alexandra on bass guitar. She has been in the business for some time and
been involved in a few Russian bands before. As an experienced musician, she
will undoubtedly manage on the stage with us. On other shows we will be joined
by Piotr Kołakowski (Neyra), a talented musician who had previously been
on stage with us as a session musician. The festivals below have been confirmed,

Originally formed in 1997, Fenris has a 14 year history of combining
thunderous viking metal with scorching black metal. At times blindingly fast,
sometimes atmospheric, but always melodic and
dynamic.
With strong roots in Nordic and Germanic mythology, and some of the lyrics in
their mother tongue, the mood set is that of ancient peoples, their hopes and
beliefs and their wars and hardships. To date,
two albums have been released: 'Offerings to the Hunger' (2001) and
'Ordeal' (2005), the last of which was an unsigned release.
Currently Fenris is busy writing songs for their upcoming album.

Facebreaker were formed in 1999, following a conversation between
Janne, Roberth, Mikael and Jonas. They had similar music tastes and decided
to start a brutal and straight-forward metal band.
A few rehearsal-sessions later they added lead guitarist Janos to their
line-up. Facebreakers first demo "Use Your Fist" was recorded at a
local studio in the beginning of the new millennium. In March 2001 they went
back to the studio to record a promo demo called "Hate and Anger". 2002
U.K. based Rage of Achilles Records got hold of their promo and offered
the band a deal.
A Rage of Achilles compilation album called "Conquest For The Empire"
was out in April, featuring Facebreaker along with other new signings
on the label.
In September Janos quit the band due to lack of time. Fortunately they
knew a guitar-player named Mika and a line-up change took place.
In June 2003 Facebreaker..s promo demo "Hate and Anger" was
released on seven-inch vinyl. In July the band entered Black Lounge Studios
to record their first full-length album "Bloodred Hell". "Boodred Hell"
was released in the beginning of 2004. It achieved great reviews and feedback
all around the world. Unfortunately Rage Of Achilles went out of business
somewhere between late 2004 and early 2005 and "Bloodred Hell" was never
given the right amount of exposure it deserved.
Without a record-deal Facebreaker made a new promo demo and started to
work on new material. Facebreaker got several offers from interested
labels but finally choose to work with Singapore based Pulverised Records.
2007 a new record-deal was closed with Pulverised Records and in July the
band went back to Jonas Kjellgrens Black Lounge Studios to record their
second full-length album "Dead Rotten and Hungry".
2008 Facebreaker released "Dead Rotten and Hungry" through
Pulverised Records. The album is being licensed to Cyclone Empire for
a limited edit. vinyl release. Facebreaker plays Party San Open Air
in Germany and is getting enthusiastic feedback.
Facebreaker does their first European tour in 2009 and a new album starts
to take form. Amazing show at the With Full Force-Open Air Festival in
Germany in front of more than 10,000 people. In September, “Bloodred Hell”
is being re-released by Cyclone Empire with additional bonus tracks.
A new worldwide record deal was signed with Cyclone Empire at the end of
2009.
On the first of January 2010 they started to record the new studio album called
”INFECTED”. This time they choose to work together with Jonas
Kjellgren at Black Lounge Studios and Peter Tägtgren at ABYSS
studios..... This is their most brutal and best played album yet, with the
intensity and horror that makes them Facebreaker. .... So be Prepared for
slaughter !!!

The highly anticipated, yet untitled album is scheduled for a worldwide release
in early 2014 via
Nuclear Blast Rec.
Founding member, Guitarist and Vocalist Helmuth Lehner states: "Drums,
Bass and Guitars are all tracked. It sounds brutal, more aggressive and more
Death than what was heard on the last Lp´s. The soundwall is massive - just as
expected.
Thanks to Erik Rutan for the extra motivation and forcing us to nail down
tight as fukk performances.
Furthermore I am set to lay down the vocals in June/ July, the mix and mastering
will be done in September. A tough call, but it was the best for the record to
decide to delay the release date again, to unleash the album in early 2014. Be
prepared for Diabolical Death Musick!"

Over 12 000 km up to the Southern Ural Mountains, 23 cities conquered, 1 show
cancelled due the band not being able to play after their bus crash in Russia
and lots of extremely positive people met on the way… The last month was very
intense in every way you want to measure it. But heyyy!!! We’ve made it back
“and nothing else matters” (SIC!). We would like to send our regards to all the
supporting bands, especially to Little Dead Bertha and Endless Gloom
whom we’ve been touring Russia with. Massive hailz to Krzychu & Kopernik
(The Baltic States invasion), Artyom & Kolya (suka, kon, bladz, degenerat –

THE LAST FAREWELL TO SŁAWEK „MORTIFER” ARCHANGIELSKIJ !
Last night our friend’s body
arrived in Warsaw. Autopsy report determines one cause of death – heart rhythm
disturbances (Herzrythmusstörung). It is also known that Sławek suffered
from asthma and had problems with breathing whilst asleep (obstructive sleep
apnea). His family would like to thank everybody who helps and supports them in
this tragic moment with the following words:
„We would like to thank for sympathy, love and any kind of support that we
have been given by Sławek’s friends from the bands Hate, Naumachia and
Saltus. We also would like to thank the band Hypocrisy for their
attitude and support which is very much appreciated. Great thanks to all kind
people in Poland and all over the world whose moving goodwill helps us so much
in this hard moment.“

We inform that the last farewell to Sławek will take place on 16th April
2013 in Cmentarz Północny (Wólka Węglowa) at 11.30 in hall B. Between
12.15 and 12.45 Sławek’s body will be shown in the Farewell Hall. His
ashes will be buried on 17th April at Czerniakowski Cemetary in Sadyba (Warsaw).

this tragic news from Adam I sure couldn't believe, such a young, spirited and

sudden death, indeed a loss for the metal world and a great loss for such an

"At night 5th/6th April near a German town of Munchberg, our friend, best
comrade and longtime bass player unexpectedly passed away. After the show in
Stuttgart last night he went to sleep and never woke up. We found him lifeless
early in the morning and immediately called an ambulance. He was reanimated, but
to no avail. Results of Sławek’s autopsy should be known soon. In this
situation, we decided to cancel the remaining shows and return home. We gave
detailed testimonies to the German police. We are shocked and shattered by his
sudden, unexpected death. We mourntogether with Slawek’s family and

As you may have noticed there have been some silent weeks from the Witchhammer camp -
this don't mean that nothing have happened...
Our time has been filled with ups and downs, where we can start with our biggest
issue, finding a replacement for Thomas, as he now has decided to leave
the band.
All has been sorted out in friendly matters, and we wish Thomas and his
family all the best in the future .
At the same time, our creativity with the new forthcoming album has been
outstanding.
We are now looking for someone who really wants to put his creativity, effort
and mind into this project, as we've now almost finishing the writing process
for our new yet-untitled album, but need an inspirational final touch from our
new singer.

AMBASSADORS OF PORTUGUESE CULTURE AND MUSIC AT THE FIRST USA HEAVY METAL
INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
Portuguese extreme progressive metallers MALEVOLENCE are
extremely proud to announce they are the first and only Portuguese band to be
featured
in an overseas conference exhibition about Heavy Metal, masks and face paint
taking place in USA.
The inaugural HEAVY METAL AND POPULAR CULTURE International conference
will take place at Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green,
Ohio April 4-7. It will be the first scholarly conference on Heavy Metal
in USA and it’s organized by ISMMS.
Brian Hickam, head of ISMMS had this to say:
“I first learned of MALEVOLENCE back
in 1997 when a DJ for a college radio station in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
played two songs off DOMINIUM. In late 1999, after I had moved back to
Ohio, I saw MARTYRIALIZED in a record store in Cleveland and bought it. I
was attracted
to the band's extreme melodic groove, distinct vocals, impressive guitar and
drumming stylistic changes exposing a very distinct sound and great
musicianship. While
I was familiar with MALEVOLENCE when
I saw the new concept developed for ANTITHETICAL, I was pleased to see
the type of image that I'd been looking for. The image was, in fact, different
from the other images I had gathered at that point. It's a fantastic example of
photography and branding as it shows intensity and originality”.

“We are overwhelmed with the chance given to us, as musicians and regular
Portuguese people, to be the ambassadors representing Portugal through some part
of its culture and music in such a massive event. This all taking place on the

Metal music and culture scholars from Norway, Germany, Switzerland, the U.K.,

Heavy Metal Studies.

is covering the event where between famous scholars and authors will be present:

This will be the seventh English-language International conference on metal to
take place. The first conference was 2008's HEAVY FUNDAMENTALISMS in

inviáveis e exploradores. No ano passado informei sobre a produtora
RDA que tinha falhado com diversos pagamentos a bandas, tais como
Noctem(ESP), Hate in Flesh(PT), Lvnae Lvmen(Pt), etc bem como staff e sala.
Actualmente, pelo menos a dona da
RDA, Rita Alves volta como um novo nome, é ele "Fabrica
da Musica".
Esta informação é clara e evidente já que nos bilhetes para o evento "Lisbon
Dark Fest" com bandas confirmadas como Therion, Crematory, Haggard,
Ava Inferi entre outras, tem o respectivo nome e N.I.F. impresso nos
bilhetes como podem comprovar.
Quem pode ter confiança na mesma pessoa que falhou com pagamentos a diversas
bandas no passado e organizou diversos concertos desastrosos como os de Ramp+Bizarra
Locomotiva - Mnemic/Noctem+Heavenwood+Hate in Flesh,etc, todos eles sem
qualquer tipo de sucesso? Penso que não seja necessário dizer mais nada, apenas
alertar do retorno destes promotores duvidosos que de forma alguma devem

Here we are to denounce once again an unreliable and exploiting agency return.
Last year I made you all aware of
RDA booking/promotional agency who failed with several payments to bands
like Noctem(SP),Hate in Flesh(Pt), Lvnae Lvmen(Pt),etc, as well as staff
and venue. Well, now and at least
RDA owner, Rita Alves returns with a new name that is "Fabrica
da Musica".
This information is clear to all since the tickets for the show "Lisbon
Dark Fest" with bands like Therion, Crematory, Haggard, Ava Inferi
among others has her name and tax payer id printed.
How reliable can be the same person who failed payments to several bands in the
past and organized disastrous concerts like the ones of Ramp+Bizarra
Locomotiva - Mnemic/Noctem+Heavenwood+Hate in Flesh,etc. this without any
success at all? I Think that I don't need to say more and just need to make you
aware about this unreliable promoters return that in no way should darken the
image of all other reliable Portuguese promoters.
